I am rejecting this response because:
  Obviously the priceline representative did not read my complaint in full. There is clearly no effort to make the rental process more fluid. I am not upset just because [redacted] required a deposit. I am upset for several other reasons. 1) There needs to be a resolution regarding the cost per day which changed when I was at the rental counter from $13/day to  $29/day; which is false advertisement. 2) If Priceline has contracts with these companies then they do know their requirements upfront. So if Priceline doesn't want to specify each company they represent, then there should be a maximum amount listed in the terms and agreements. 2) Someone could have verified verbally with [redacted] that I was not able to obtain the vehicle on the spot, not wait 10 business days after the supposed return date. 3) The [redacted] representative said that the reservation sometimes can be transferred to a different company. (Specificly [redacted] which only required a $50 deposit instead of $200) There was no effort for the priceline representative to do so. Their email was the same copy and paste, offensive response as the day I was trying to rent the vehicle. Basically, they refuse to change anything and keep shoveling "terms and conditions" down my throat.  Terms and conditions do not cover the fact that I was misquoted a price and paid for it, then when I went to pick up the vehicle the price changed and they wanted additional money for the rental and a deposit. The customer service is terrible. If someone is out of town there should be more urgency to resolve these issues. Especially when paid upfront. If I would have known the amount of the deposit I would have made sure that amount was available on the credit card before leaving town. However, I still would not have rented with the price per day more than doubling the priceline quote.

I am rejecting this response because: It says cancelations are available very clearly before you click on the motel. Then in the fine print it changes the "policy"?! This is a bait and switch clearly. That room was no cheaper than the other rooms. You use giant red lettering to state cancelations are available then hide the change in a list of things . I am writing to let you know that we received your Revdex.com concern in our Executive Offices.   I understand that you found a lower rate online for the same itinerary. I reviewed your record in our system and see that your issue was addressed by one of our social media specialist....

I see that the specialist was able to locate the $57.00 per night rate you saw; however, it was also confirmed that had you continued in to the checkout page, total amount will still be higher than that of your original reservation. Our record shows that your reservation is for a total of $237.96, with the inclusion of the $15.00 travel insurance; however, the $57.00 rate you saw online is for a total of $277.44.   Under normal circumstances, we are unable adjust the charges; however, since we value your business, I decided to make an exception and refund the difference between the two rates. I have already refunded your credit card $30.00. I am rejecting this response because:Date Sent: 1/23/2016 12:41:13 PM Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:  There has been no resolution, simply a response that they will look into it and get back to me shortly.  It's been nearly three weeks.  It is their stated price matching policy and the cheaper price was found on their own website, not a competitors website.  I sent them a screen capture of their own website with the price and the date clearly legible.  This should take a few days, not several weeks to resolve.  If they have no intention of matching their own prices then they should remove their "price match guarantee" from their website.  It is false advertising clear and simple.  Furthermore, while on the phone with a representative of their company, he put me on hold to "check the pricing" and while on hold the offer "magically" disappeared from the screen, but I had already taken a picture of it.  Sincerely, [redacted]
