customer's request for compensation.

Staples apologizes for the troubles the customer has faced. In our system, it shows the method of payment was declined. Should the customer wish to place a new order, it would be done so at the current price. Unfortunately, we would not be honoring the price from the unsuccessful order.

Further, Staples had no involvement in resolving this case, and still feel that they have serious quality control issues in their shipping business process.  I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

The customer was issued a refund on one of their orders in the amount of $70.00. They can expect to see this in 7-10 business days.

Please add your rejection comments below. I have called back into your customer service.  They checked the rewards profiles and made sure that there was no in common information.  Different names, different addresses, different phone numbers.  I verified on the company account that the message was gone stating that 'rewards for this account will be being to the main cardholder [redacted]  I then created a brand new account at home for myself using a new a-mail address.  Attached my rewards number ([redacted]) made a purchase. Verified that my order is the only one showing up on the new account.  Come into work today and place another $2000 in order on the companies account.  The rewards profile is back to saying that awards are going to me. I swear that if I lose my job because of 'stealing' from your stupid system, I will sue.  Someone fix this, please, just fix it. My next alternative is to completely stop doing business with you both company and personal so that I do not lose my job over this.

We have reached out to the customer and determined that the item they wished to purchase is not a clearance item at the location the customer specified. Clearance items are not company wide, and vary from store to store. The coupon states that the tablet in question must be clearance in order to be...

used. Further, the customer points to an online listing of the item, which does show clearance, however, per the terms of our Price Match Guarantee, clearance items cannot be price matched. Coupons are also taken into account when executing a price match. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We would not be able to honor the coupon on the ineligible item.

I have received this type of response from staples' rebate center for the past 3 months and I still haven't receive my rebate, therefore, although I am promised once again to wait for another 15 business days for my check, I must reject this response as a resolution because I have been deceived twice before.  Until I get my checks then I will not be satisfy with this response.  15 business days is 3 weeks or a little under a month of waiting... staples should have expedited this problem instead of dragging my issue for 4th month.
