June 28th I ordered and paid with my credit card from Starks online are 4 PPE Mask. 10 days later I called their store and asked for a status and they said they could not but to send them an email to their support address. I ordered 2 face masks in early June and they charged my credit card on June 13th. On June 23rd they created a USPS tracking number but never took the package. I confirmed this with the post office that they never put the package in the system, that it is still in “pre-delivery” and was never sent. They have no phone number, no chat, and do not answer any emails. I have tried to contact them numerous times to get a refund since I never received any merchandise and they charged me.

I ordered 2 masks from this company. They charged my credit card on the date of the order. However, they have not fulfilled their commitment to fulfill the order in 5-9 days. It's over 2 weeks and the order is still "processing". All I want at this point is MY MONEY REFUNDED TO MY CREDIT CARD. MASK ORDER #***. Only a refund is an acceptable resolution at this point as I needed masks and went ahead today and ordered from another company. Emails to customer support results in automated response saying they will make contact, which they never do. Called the store but the employee answering the phone said he can do nothing about mask orders. Emailed the company again, asking them to CANCEL the order, but get an automated response making excuses. No refund on my credit card account from them. Reviews on their website are glowing but searching the internet yielded MANY complaints about unfilled mask orders. Starks Vacuum began aggressively marketing “masks” intended to protect its consumers against covid-19. I was exposed to their marketing on social media and placed an order for four masks (at a cost of more than $50) on June 29, 2020 (#***). I have received neither a single mask nor any email indicating that any masks have shipped. I have written to Starks via their support address FOUR times request a cancellation and a refund and have not heard back from a single human being. Their advertising, promising 2-3 days of shipment within order placement is deceptive and they evidently have no customer support service.

To whom it may concern:

I have finally had my funds received/returned from Starks vacuum. I have no further dispute with this business and would like to dismiss/remove my complaint against it. Thank you for your assistance.

I ordered masks from Starks Vacuums (buy 4 get 1 free) on May 26. I was charged $51.80 on that day. Not only have I not received the masks, I also haven't received ONE communication from them. No updates, apologies, nothing. Then I decided I wanted to cancel and get my money back because I was so fed up. Not only did they not respond to my email to their support system (other than an automated reply that says "we are reviewing" it), but I haven't gotten my money back either. I am most frustrated by their refusal to communicate with me in any way. Other than the automated reply and a short reply on their facebook messenger stating I needed to email them at their support email (yet another way I tried to contact them), I have gotten nothing from them. NO masks, no refund and no communication. I am LIVID.

Hello. After I sent the complaint the company finally reached out to me and offered the refund (I told them I was filing a complaint with Revdex.com). It appears once I they knew I was filing this complaint they finally acted quickly. So the matter has been resolved now finally. Here is my case number: #

On May 27th 2020 I placed an order for 4 face masks with their buy 4 get one mask free promotion with Stark's vacuums online. On June 12th I received an email apologizing for the delay and explaining how orders were backed up and USPS was delaying shipping. On June 14th I received an email that my order will be shipping soon. On June 15th it said my order has shipped with USPS and provided a tracking number. It has said package acceptance pending with this tracking number since June 15th with no changes or updates. I began emailing Stark's to get updates regarding my order on June 29th. All I would receive in return was an automated response and no one has contacted me. I emailed again in July 2nd, July 3rd, and July 8th. I have not been able to locate a phone number but I have called 3 different Stark's locations, left two voicemails, the third call I finally reached a very nice man who took all my information and I never heard from him again. I have tried to ask about my order on Facebook and now I can't send messages so I guess they blocked me? I tried posting on their Facebook to ask where my order is and they removed my post. I commented on their posts about my order and how I'm getting no response and they deleted my comments. I am being completely ignored by this company, meanwhile they have my money and I have no masks. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I can't even get a response.

Recently, I happened across their online website while searching for protective masks and decided to take a chance with one of their offers .. As a reward for ordering six protective masks, one could receive two free ones. So, I ordered six blue masks (and was also provided two free masks).
All were identical with the exception of the two free masks, which were black. They are three layer masks (made in Vietnam). Ordering was simple enough and processing time and shipment were also very acceptable, in my opinion. Unfortunately, I ended up being extremely disappointed with the product.
Thinking I was being cautious, I chose to only open one of the two 'free' masks... (they are all packaged individually). I washed it gently washed it prior to use and allowed it to air dry, per the instructions. I then discovered that it had very little, if any, stretchibility and simply would not fit allow me to place the loops over both ears (unless of course I was willing to have it so extremely tight that wearing it would be too problematic). Quite honestly, I reject the notion that these fit 'most people' as they suggested in their email to me. I do not have what one might term as 'a large head).
Since I had not opened the remaining free mask (or any of the six (blue) masks, which my order consisted of), I believed that I could simply return the unopened masks for a refund.
After communicating with them via email, I was informed that they would not process refunds for sizing issues (but would replace defective masks). Their position is that these one size fits all masks fit 'most people'. Apparently, the fact that I had not opened any of the blue masks (my basic order) and one of the free masks, just wasn't relevant. Bottom line, I had to eat the cost of seventy-seven dollars whether I like this reality or not.
Lesson learned the hard way, after the fact. In hindsight, I would suggest that potential customer not order more than two masks (their minimum online order), which would minimize the loss, in the event they have the same issue I have had. Ordering six blue masks, even though I did not open any of them, was a foolish mistake on my part. Prior to ordering, contact the seller prior to ordering to see if you can return the order if you decided to change your mind and have not opened or used the product.
This was my first and only experience with Stark's Vacuums and obviously, I am disappointed with their decision. I cannot comment on any other aspects of their business. I re-reviewed their ad page again and still did not see any indications which would have suggested or hinted that it would be wiser to order a very minimal number at first, in the event I wasn't happy.
While most of can appreciate that some refund policies won't always match up to everyone's preferences or likes (and even I can fully understand that sensitive items like masks, if opened, shouldn't be returnable) .. BUT, if it's fine to ship something to me packaged and unopened, then I should be able to return the same unopened, unused items.

I ordered 10 of this company's heavily advertised face masks - two orders of 4 each plus 1 free mask per order, at a total cost of $103.60. Upon receipt, on July 3, I found the masks to be not as advertised and defective. First, the ear loops have virtually no stretch, and even on the same mask are different sizes. On multiple masks, one ear loop is as much as 1 inch longer than the other ear loop. The "flexible" nose guard is merely fabric and has no flexible metal insert as do other masks advertising flexible nose guards, and as implied in the company's ads. They also advertised saying the masks are washable, without saying "hand wash," but when I received them the packaging says they must be washed by hand. Finally, when I decided to purchase these masks, there was a clear implication in the company's Facebook ads and on the website that they were made by this company, in the US, because they understood filtering issues based on their knowledge of vacuum clear bags. Since I ordered, the company apparently has changed (corrected) or deleted many of these statements on their website, and also has created a no refund policy (when I purchased, the only policy I could find was a 100% money back guarantee), apparently in response to the many complaints they have been getting. They also create a false impression of only highly positive reviews, by deleting negative reviews from their website and Facebook page. I wish I had gone to Yelp first, before I purchased, where there are a number of reviews expressing the same concerns I have raised here. I have offered to returned the unopened masks for a refund, but the company's response was to tell me to open the remainder because they would be fine. I did so, and found more defective masks. The company has repeatedly refused to refund my purchase price.

Apparently that is because they are misspelling my last name, which is *** (correctly spelled in this complaint), not Kelley. They have also asked for my order number, which is Mask Order #***. Provided that with this information, the business promptly credits my MasterCard for the full purchase price of $103.60, I will accept the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, as satisfactory to me.

I sent Sarah an e-mail asking for additional information because I could not find her order.

Like she said in her complaint I was not looking for the correct name.

All she had to do was reply to my e-mail.

I ordered $51.00 of face mask on May 29th. I when informed the mask would be delivered by June 20, 2020.. I was also advised that I would receive additional information in the next couple of days ( I.E. Shipping information). I have called several time, I spoke to someone in the Portland store to no avail. I have emailed several times. One response was they had a computer problem and I should resend the email. Additionally please note none of my other emails were answered
My June 2 bank statement showed a payment to Starks.

We also made a negative review on their web page that was quickly removed.

This matter has been resolved. Masks were received yesterday. Still no one from the company ever knowledge any of our communicationsThank you ***.

On June 12th, 2020 I purchased 2 masks for Covid-19 and immediately $25.90 was deducted from my Venmo account for the purchase. I did receive confirmation e-mails early on but then all communication stopped. It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t received my masks. I see from the Revdex.com site that I’m not the only one with this issue with this company.

I ordered mask from them on 5/30/2020. When I put my card in it was declined so I tried another card and it went thru. The next day I noticed they charged both cards so I emailed and one of the card was refunded. However since then I have not gotten my order. I have contacted then thru multiple emails to [email protected], [email protected] without any reply besides the standard email they are behind. I ordered masks from the company. It was a buy four, get one free. I paid for four masks and have only received two. I have made numerous attempts to contact them over the last and they have either not responded or just tell me to send another email that gets no response.

There was never any communication that anything was out of stock, or that this was a partial order. The email I received said all masks were delivered. At this point, I don’t have faith that the business will give me the remainder of the masks I ordered. I would like to be reimbursed for the two masks I paid for but did not receive.

I placed an order for 4 mask, after waiting 4 weeks for delivery which was expected, the package only contained 2 mask. Based on the advertisement, if you bought 4 the 5th one was free. Again, I only received 2. I immediately called the store and was told they could not help me and I needed to send an email to [email protected]. I immediately sent the email and waited for a response. After 3 days of hearing nothing, I sent another email. After a week of hearing nothing, another email. After two weeks of nothing, another email. At this point, I am contacting Revdex.com to report this company. This company has blatantly disregarded all my email and did not deliver the product that was paid for. Unacceptable customer service and stealing.

Ordered and paid for face masks over a month ago and they were to contact me with tracking number on shipment and they have not contacted me since taking my money!
