$1000.00 deducted from my bank but not deposited in Stash Account as stated. It appears Stash is luring customers into making deposits into their account and not releasing to customers. Looking at the many complaints listed, fraud is likely occurring because of the similarities of the complaints. Some people could be getting scammed and not knowing until account is completely depleted.
On 7//2020, I emailed Stash at *** to complain about the debit of $1,000.00 from my account to ACH/STASH CAPITAL and no funds are posted in my Stash account.
In addition, I made a complaint to Stash in writing on July *, 2020 about reoccurring deductions of $19.95 monthly from account without any explanation and no response on how to stop it. Also, a total of $250. just today, 7//2020, was to be credited to my account for sale of stocks. The money was not given to me for the sale of the stocks. I’m in the process of reporting this to the SEC.

In the FAQ and in form email replies from the company regarding promotional fund availability, Stash says that they’re available in 5 business days, but when I called their customer service line the representative stated that promotional credits are on a 90 day hold. Also when requesting to speak to a manager to ask why the FAQs are different than what was told to me they were unable to release the funds.

I made a purchase with my stash visa debit card on April *** with the starfish shop. I have yet to receive the merchandise that I purchased (it is july ). I called stash to open a dispute and was told "they can't open a dispute on this type of transaction." I spoke to a supervisor "jason" in the disputes department. He would not assist me. I would like my money from this transaction back. I was told that I need to dispute the transaction with the merchant or contact the Revdex.com on the merchant. The merchant quit responding on 7/*/2020.

After selling a stock and waiting 2-3 business days for the funds to settle, the funds were available to reinvest. However, when I attempted to withdraw my funds, it said that my portfolio balance was $0.00. Dumbfounded, I looked up some additional info on websites like ***. This is apparently a very common "glitch" affecting many people. I have sent a couple of e-mails to Stash, admittedly all of them today, and if I don't hear a response in a timely manner, I will be filing an official complaint with the Revdex.com or potentially taking legal action in small claims court.
Don't use this service. The hope I'm assuming is that due to the small funds, this "glitch" may not be worth your time to call and e-mail about, and Stash will just keep your money. I have over $100 in settled funds and an additional $100 I'm waiting to settle. As soon as I get my funds withdrawn either through Stash fixing their "glitch" or through the Revdex.com or small claims court, I will delete my Stash account and never use it again.

I signed up and added $20 a week for a few months and was investing. I closed my bank account and now can not access my money or my investments. I have repeatedly tried to contact customer service and they go around in circles and have not unlocked my account. I would like to have the restrictions removed from my account so I can add my new bank and retrieve MY money. This is not acceptable behavior from a investment company and their looking for reasons to block me from my account.

I have read the complaints and people are telling you your customer service isn't working... I contacted because the app says I'm down triple what I actually am down in down 14 bucks and it says I'm down 80 something. Contacted and emailed and asked why and if I was missing something because I'm only down a cents or a couple bucks which only puts my total at about 14 bucks. All I got from an Abby back in email was yup your down best of luck to you it's rediculous that I can't get an answer as to if the app is not working right or if I'm missing something. It's frustrating. I have the screen shots from emails I save everything. I was just asking if there was something going on because non of my totals add up to me loosing no where near 80 something dollars. And it's customer service like that that makes you loose customers.

I have been locked out of my stash account since the beginning of the year. It took till February to get my account unlocked. I opened another bank account and for that. Stash locked me out of my account. Dont ask me why but they did. Then they drug out my next lock down for another 8 weeks. Mind you....we are talking stocks and investments. A lot happens day to day with stocks and they won't let me have any control of my account. So I did what they asked for the third time. This was now at the end of April. I submitted my new bank documents since I was locked out for opening a new bank account...5 weeks ago today I spent 2 hours on the phone. Because I had sent many many emails over the course of the last few months and NEVER heard anything from anyone in customer service. I am still to this day locked out of my account. I have not had any control over my profit and losses on my investments. They have screwed me out of a lot of money because I wasn't able to trade during this pandemic. Im beginning to think this company is a legitimate scam because I have provided all of my information. Drivers license. Bank statements. Passport. My credit cards. Other mail matching my address. With a picture of me holding my license. And they still won't unlock my account!! I haven't over drafted. I haven't done any wrong. I simply changed banks once I closed my business. I have tried for months. We are now 7 months into the year and I am still locked out. I am fixing to lawyer up and sue for loss and damages so I can be made whole on this entire situation. Im done playing games. I have jumped through every hoola hoop and done everything this garbage company has asked and still nothing is done. At this point I just want my accounts closed and my money direct deposited into my account. I had accounts set up for my children and my retirement along with personal accounts that have lost thousands due to Stash. Im sick and tired of companies like stashing screwing with me and my families money.

I am not happy with what has happened. I lost thousands of dollars and all they wanted to do was offer me $5. Also, I will add..they never contacted me. I had to contact them on July *** letting them know I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. Stash would have never helped me had I not filed a complaint. I kindly ask that you leave my complaints public in an attempt to educate anyone else who plans on using Stash. Stash investments LLC cost me a lot of money and put a ton of unneeded stress on me and my family. Especially with whats been going on in 2020. They took almost 7 months to unlock my account. I had investments crash because I could make any trades due to them not unlocking my account. This is information everyone needs to see. And their way of making things right was offering me $5. What a complete joke. You cost me months of my time and thousands of dollars and $5 is supposed to make me feel whole. No thanks.

Not worth it at all. They charge you $1 a month just to have the app on your phone. Even if you never use it at all. Then they sent me an email saying that if I put $5 in my account, they would give me $30 to invest with as well. They never gave me the $30 and kept the $5 I put in because I had the app on my phone and owed it to them. When I sent an email asking for a refund since I did not use the app any of those months, and didn't receive the $30 they promised, I was told I wasnt owed a refund and they weren't giving me back anything. Horrible company. There are many other honest companies out there you can join to learn how there invest. I do not recommend Stash at all.

They said they needed my bank account to verify my account, but then subscribed me for their "beginner" plan that was automatically withdrawing $1 every month. I did not use the account. When I asked them for a refund, they refused. They allow you to signup for an account on their app, but they don't allow you to cancel there. Their subscription management page on the website does not make it clear how cancel your membership. There is a link at the bottom that is in black and does not have an underline so it's not clear that you can click on it.

So they signed me up for a subscription I wasn't prepared to start paying for, would not refund the amount and made it unnecessarily difficult to unsubscribe.
