Stash Reviews (%countItem)

I started the process to open an account. When I reached the part about selecting a plan I decided not to continue (the point where the consumer decides what to spend with Stash)

Since then it has been impossible to get the business to delete/close my account.

On Saturday I received an email from Stash with subject line, “Our Customer Relationship Summary.” I contacted Stash and asked why I’m receiving this and asked them to unsubscribe me.

They said I have to click on the unsubscribe link in the email. There is no unsubscribe link. They suggested I log into my account where I can change my marketing preferences.

When I log into my account it requires me to select a Stash plan. I do not want a Stash plan. I actually want to close the account.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely

I have a Stash Debit account and my account was locked a month ago due to suspected fraud. I confirmed their request and submitted the required drivers license and verification information to unlock my account. Since then, even today I have reached the "highest" form of customer service and they were unable to unlock my debit account.

This is unacceptable and there needs to be a risk/fraud department that will reach out to the account holder to verify their identity and unlock their account. My funds include a whole paycheck and I need those funds to pay my bills. How can this company let people go months without their money with no resolutions available? It is completely unacceptable.

I sent them $107 plus $9 for investing. They said they never got the $107 but did $9. I have proof on my bank statement they received it, because they had to send me back 12cents and 9 cents to prove they are tied to my bank. I had to enter the small amounts on their page to prove I had gotten it. I did so then they locked my account. I called them and a manager should have called me back, but never did.

For the past year, I have been sending emails and calling customer service that I am not able to access my account. They do not respond to my emails or call me back. I have not been able to access my account for the past 2 years and they are taking money out of my account each month. I need access to my account to access my money and also to stop payment. I have lost my job due to COVID19 and Stash tries to take out money and I am getting NSF fees. This is really hurting me financially. I need every penny during these hard times.

Worst customer service experience I have ever gone through. No one reads the complaint. I assume they skim the email and auto generate a response. Emailed them several times over the last 2 months. 2 months, 1 issue. Same auto response or a dimwit customer service rep not answering my questions.

I have Autism Spectrum Disorder and I hoped to try investing during the pandemic.
Stash is misleading. They have a customer service button but no customer service department. Literally, there is no customer service. I have written 7 emails to their customer service button and they simply respond with instructions. The instructions make no sense to me.
I am trying to keep this application which was designed to dupe people OUT of my checking account. My bank suggests closing the account. I cannot believe this is the only option.

I have emailed stash numerous amounts of times. I can not get into my account. Therefor I can not upload my legal name change. I also can not access my money because they said they sent me an card and they didn't. I never got it. So I have literally now been at this for months in circles. I asked them to cancel my subscription of 9. a month and apparently because I can't get into my account I can't get a new card either. I at some point tried to create a new account and I can't finish that account! These people only email with instructions which would be okay if I could get into my account! I need my bank card and my information updated and I want my money back. This has been a horrible experience.

This is the third complaint I have had to file against these people for the same thing. They stole $337 from my Bank Account and refuse to give it back. Because their is no transaction or transfer history they claim it never happened, but when you steal something you very rarely leave evidence behind of the act. But because they cant find the evidence of money leaving my account they refuse to pay the money back. Though I have already dealt with their customer service on two different occsasions already and they have finished their investigation and say they will pay me back then someone else opens another investigation and I have to jump through all same hoops. I am on the fourth investigation now.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answerthey never sent me anything on June *** and I have not received any money from them. This is ongoing problem with them. They say they have or will do something but never actually do anything. Thank you for your help but it’s obvious they will never pay me back any of the money they took out of my account. I have tried to explain that when the Bank took the money from me they didn’t leave a transaction record of it but they say that is not possible. It’s really hard not to laugh at them. I would appreciate it if you put out a strong warning so this doesn’t happen to others. They advertise a lot on Social Media so they target younger people, those who won’t put too much time or money into a problem. Mainly because they can’t. I’m just afraid that if they took that much from me (they overdrafts me) during the beginning of a Pandemic and I had just been called into work as essential Worker but was unable to get to work for two days. Finally had boss have a Police Officer bring me to work to help. So things like this show how little they care about their customers and how far they are willing to go to push blame on others. I won 2 out of the 4 investigations but they now refuse to return my emails, just keep them from hurting other people.

December 2019, I bought stock in Sprint at $5.22, which gave me 62.26173 shares. T-Mobile bought sprint this year, and for some reason, my 62.26173 shares went to a little over 10 shares. Stash, after emailing and calling them 3 times told me some lame crap that the stocks split, this that and the third. But still never paid me what is owed to me, T-mobile was last worth $106.39, Stash can not or did not give me an answer that made since on WHY, they stole my shares and money. Also, on *** January 2020, I bought Aurora Cannabis at $2.07 which was about 98.05342 shares. 16 January 2020 I bought a few mores shares of Aurora Cannabis at $2.09 which was 2.10048 shares which gave me a 100.1539 shares of Aurora Cannabis. Aurora Cannabis is now worth 13.04 a shares. Stash STOLE 91.80774 shares telling me that a reverse split only left me with 8.34616 shares. How can they do this. Why did they feel the need to steal from me? I can't be the only person they have done this to.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

this is what was released about the owners of these stocks: Individuals who hold shares of Sprint, who hold 9.75 shares of Sprint will get one share of T-Mobile which is an exchange ratio of 0.10256. WHO HOLD 9.75 shares of Sprint. I held 62.26173 shares of Sprint, I STILL don't think this is right. Then, I owed 100 shares in Aurora Cannabis, and for every 12 shares you only get ONE freaking share? How is this legal? WHY is it? The client is ripped off and beaten out their hard earn money.
