I deposited money into my checking account weeks ago and my account has been locked ever since. I received a debit card, which I can’t even use and I have reached out to the company multiple times to try and get my account unlocked, to no avail. They provided me with a phone number with an extension that isn’t even recognized by the phone system. I need to get this finally fixed as I’m starting to feel that my money has been essentially stolen from me and don’t feel that having this checking account with Stash is a safe option.

I have continually asked STASH CAPITAL LLC to stop billing me. I stated I no longer wish to use their services. I was told on Feb *** 2020 that I will no longer be billed after following all of the prompts to discontinue my subscription. I was still billed after canceling my subscription. I sent more emails and I was still directed with prompts stating how to discontinue the service. I did the prompts I called customer support I was assured I would no longer be billed. I have emails and bank statements that can attest to this. I have just been billed again after I was told by multiple customer service agents that my request has been honored. I was billed April *** for a service I no longer use or even want to use.

I have continually asked STASH CAPITAL LLC to stop billing me. I stated I no longer wish to use their services. Stash is utter ***. If you try to invest in a volatile stock they will purchase it at the high price of the day, and if you try to sell it they will sell it at the low price of the day and pocket the difference.
Very frequently have I found that when I try to sell a stock the sale will not go through until the end of the trading day. One is also unable to set limits on the sale or purchase price which allows them to pocket the difference .
I also try to withdraw my funds only for their cumbersome program to get it confused, I am now waiting without response for my account to be unlocked. I have sent over the paperwork my ID and called customer service, which is lacking to say the very least. In this time of COVID-19 access to our funds as well as not having to deal with internal regulation, policy, and red tape... is more than simply a convenience, it can mean the difference between life and death.
Anybody even imagining to use this service I would suggest using a different platform *** as they also have apps.

My Stash account was put on hold. I was told to upload my bank statement. I uploaded my statement like Stash said. Went back on Stash, and still was locked. I contacted support, and was told to upload a monthly bank statement. I told support that my bank does quarterly statements. Then I was told to send a recent one. My Stash account was put on hold. I was told to upload my bank statement. I uploaded my statement like Stash said. Went back on Stash, and still was locked. I initially signed up for Stash in 2018. I had an auto draft from my account to my Stash account for $5 twice per month. I turned that auto draft off January 2019 and have not been on the platform since then. Randomly January of this year, Stash started auto drafting $5 out of my account monthly. I am not receiving confirmation emails of these transactions like I was before, I just see them as transactions in my account. I tried to log into my account to stop the auto drafts and I cannot access my account online. Because of Covid I cannot call so I've been emailing back and forth with Stash support or 2 weeks with no real help.

I signed up for Stash to help save. Prior to linking my bank account, I was made to pay for their service. Turns out that my bank account is not supported by their service. Within minutes of realizing my bank account was not supported, I contacted their support services. For the last 2 months, I have been in contact with them and they informed me that my refund was "in process". Today I received an email saying that the hold up is because I do not have a linked bank account. This is the whole issue and reason for my request for a refund. I have asked them to refund the charge back to the account from which the charge was taken. I keep getting a standard reply email to link my account, which cannot be done.

I used to use Stash and would make investments, before closing my account. Turns out they never actually closed the account, and have charged me every month (small increments so I did not notice, I noticed this during this statement and saw they had opened a subscription for me, so I went to hit cancel and it says "Are you sure?" then only give the option to call them. Which I have, during their hours of operation for days with no response.

So I have had an account with stash for some time now. my first complaint is I never agreed to a 3 dollar a month service fee if I knew I would be paying money to have a subscription with them I would of left. second back in July last year they locked my account. I tried to contact them about it to resolve the issue. well no one got back to me. so a month goes by and I try and contact them again. I finally get a hold of them and they charged me a 3 dollar fee and I had closed the account they were trying to pull from. I explained to them the situation and that I never agreed to paying the fee. they asked me to provide documents that the account was closed. so I went down to the bank got the documents and sent them over. will it took them over a month to get back to me and that was after numerous attempts to contact the business. I missed out on tons of promotions where I was suppose to get double stock back for all my purchases in the month of November and December. I was also suppose to get some sort of match or something along the lines of $200 if I set up direct deposit. which I did and had it going for a long time. im very upset cause after everything they wouldn't honer their promotions and said I was out of luck. I have made multiple attempts to get in contact with someone higher then their call center but everyone is reusing to get back to me or treat me fairly. I dont like that I have been getting charged a monthly service fee for god knows how long. when I signed up there was no service fee. and I never agreed to any terms or conditions.

They have righted some wrongs but their is one thing I still have a problem with. I never agreed for them to charge me a fee for their service. How is it okay to open accounts for people and never agree to their terms. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has this problem. That is a huge thing and this could end up being like Wells Fargo opening accounts against the owners permission.
