Stash keeps debiting my account. They emailed me and stated that they closed my account even thought continue to take money. I have been fighting with them for several months to return my money. Several attempts to stop them from debiting my account.

Multiple fraudulent charges on a debit account I rarely used. All Apple charges, within a 6 day span. As I was on phone with Stash, someone was trying to put through yet another charge. I immediately froze my card and requested a new one. I just received an email almost 2 weeks later, denying my claim of fraud.

I opened an account with Stash about 3 months ago. Decided to give them a try and transferred $750 into Stash Invest. They froze my account because they said that there was no money in the account and they had a service fee...Obviously I don't have money in there; I JUST opened an account. Then they told me I couldn't use the account because it was "under review." I waited patiently until I could not longer wait patiently so I reached out to them to close the account. They said that they would get back to me because the account was frozen. Please explain to me how any of this was my problem and how the transfer went perfectly fine and now I'm not able to get my money back? I reached out numerous times to get my money back and every time they tell me that a "specialist" is reviewing the account and I'd have to wait for a reply. It's been 2 weeks...why do I have to keep asking for my money back is my problem. I have other things to do other than to keep asking for my money back. Please just return the money!

My debit card continues to be charged and I can’t cancel the account due to new two factor authentication requirements. I no longer have access to the email and phone to which I set up the account due to job loss. I have been unable to reach customer service by email or phone.

I started using the stash investment app about a month ago. I never really liked the layout and it was always very confusing to do anything. I would try to look for ETF’s to invest in and I thought I had done so, but it turns out it suggested pages of their own funds instead of giving me what I actually wanted. Then, I started to trade the stocks I had. During this time I sold a stock electronically and they claim it didn’t go through for a day or two in which time the stock lost $10 in value. Well, then they decided that even though I sold the stock I would take the loss. I could understand that and I moved on until I saw that when I sold another stock and it rose in value from the time I sold it, I didn’t get to keep the profits. I think the company is using the guise of “trading windows” to take money from its clients. I don’t understand how it would take two days to do an online transaction one day, causing me to take a loss, then it’s instant the day after that one was completed, in which I would have received gains. From the looks of it these are very unethical business practices at the least.

I've never had any issues with Stash or their customer service. Reps are typically helpful and knowledgeable. I've never had issues with the app itself, and if technical or server issues come up, their tech is usually quick to get the issue resolved.

Ok I have opens an account with them in early March and 3 days later I closed the account they said it should take 7 to 10 business days. Well that has been long gone and still no money put back onto my card. So I call them no answer so I email them then someone emails me back saying sorry to see yoy go. And that it will take few extra days because they have few people working ... On no problem it is now may 15 and still no money back in my card... Do not give these people your money or account info. Spend your money on your family.. Keep your money in the bank and just be happy you are not invold with this rip-off investment.. My next step is to file a compliant with the Revdex.com and hopefully it will get resolved... But what ever you do dont not invest with stash. I've been trying to contact Stash for a simple reason - to change my bank account linked & withdraw my funds. They have consistently lied & kept changing the documentation requirements via their customer service channels (all beyond what is documented on their website and/or app). I'm at a loss of how to get access to MY money and am similarly annoyed at the number of other complaints here by consumers who are saying how difficult it is to get THEIR money back from Stash.

I started a Stash account several months ago. I never used it but signed up for the one dollar plan. In February 2020, I cancelled the plan. However, Stash is still charging me the monthly fee. I logged on in April to cancelled it again. Yet, Stash is still billing me for the service. I tried to log in today May ***, 2020 and it did not accept the password. I tried to use the forgot password link. When I clicked on the link it doesn't do anything. I am using a very expensive Note phone. I really don't understand why the app has been designed to merge directions together on the app. It didn't do this when I signed up for the plan. It also, said customers may cancel anytime. Stash has made it impossible for me to log back in to check the status of my account. The reset password feature is not working.

I made a transaction of $20.00 but, mistakenly transferred $2,000.00. I immediately went to their cancel transaction application which does not work and was confirmed by their site representative in a customer service position. I requested to have my transaction changed to $20.00 and was informed it was not possible. I closed my account with such said business representative and was informed by her it (the cancellation/closing of my account with them would take up to 2 weeks. While I waited for it to close, I cancelled my account on my end. since, only $50.00 of my $2000.00 has been refunded. All this could be avoided if their cancel transaction application was working and I am suffering financially during this pandemic without financial resources to adequately provide for my 7 year old twins and 8 year old children. I am on a fixed income and their customer service is either impossible to get hold of or serve no purpose to remedy the issue.
