Our service agreements do allow for periodic price increases and these increases are a standard condition of our service agreement to help cover any cost increases we may face to meet regulatory requirements across local, state, and federal
standards as well as prepare for investments in our business to keep abreast of needed technology and ensure the protection of our customers as part of our 'cradle to grave' service offering
However, we are more than willing to work with our customers to find a service program with a rate that works for themWe offer a variety of different program levels and pifrequencies and can help to evaluate these optionsWe will have one of our Managers reach out to Ms.*** directly in order to review potential solutions to this matter

We do NOT accept the response of Stericycle They did not in any way address our complaint of unauthorized signatures on the "contract" they claim extended our contract by five years
They did not address the complaint that when we attempted to change the amount of monthy payment they sent over an e sign document with no sign of an "additional year extension"
They have not addressed the complaint that they have harassed us frequently to sign yet another NEW contract in order to further decrease the contract piece
We do NOT wish to do business with Stericycle at any reduced costs
There are a plethora of online complaints about the same unscrupulous and deceiving practices of Stericycle and this is not a new issue for them
In addition to trying to "strong arm" us into a contract we never had they have charged us for the last several years for "HIPPA compliance training and services" and "waste disposal training services" we DID not authorizeThis year they called and asked us if we wanted to "add" these services for an additional feeThey represented that with those services we would get yearly trainings in these areas
It was not until we noticed the great increases in price that we realized we had already paid for those services for several years without receiving them
If in fact, the can reduce the price each time you call and complain then why haven't they offered this this "lower price " to customers of over years
We do NOT wish to do business with Stericycle at any reduced costs
In fact, we should be asking Stericycle for a refund of those service fees for the past several years
They circumvent these complaints by requiring a credit card to be on file thereby not reminding clients monthly of the increase in pricing
We have spoken to repeated personnel at the company and have no interest in a cash settlement of ANY type and in fact will ask for a refund of services not rendered if we continue to be harassed and if the so called "contract" is not immediately terminated

You indicate that your representative was not authorized to sign our service agreement
We preface our signature line with the statement "By signing below I acknowledge that I am the customer's authorized officer or agent and that I have the authority to bind customer to this agreement..." so that the individual reading the document will verify before signing that they are authorized to do so
On our end we have no way of knowing who is or is not authorized to sign an agreement for a particular officeTypically accepting and paying for the service for a significant period of time also serves to ratify the agreementIt is unfortunate that your representative did not read and understand what was signed
In closing, although we believe our agreement to be entirely valid, in the interest of maintaining positive relations, we will cancel Stericycle account #XXXXXXX without penalty as requestedWe will be sending one of our service personnel to your location to remove any remaining Stericycle boxes or tubs on Tuesday September 1st

Great Lakes Heart& Vascular that does not expire until January 1, We
have offered to work with Ms.*** on potential resolutions to this matter,
however they have insisted upon proceeding with the early termination of a
service agreement still within its’ initial term therefore we feel the
liquidated damages provision outlined in section 2c is valid. Should
Great Lakes Heart& Vascular wish to resume discussions around continuing
services with Stericycle and finishing out the remainder of their agreement, we
would be happy to continue that dialogue

While we regret Ms*** dissatisfaction, we believe we have acted in full accordance with the service agreement signed by Ms***We have offered to work with Ms*** on potential resolutions to this matter, however this account does have a signed service agreement on file that
does not expire until August 1, and they have insisted upon proceeding with the early termination of a service agreement still within its' initial term therefore we feel the liquidated damages provision outlined in section 2c is validShould Ms*** wish to resume discussions around continuing services with Stericycle and finishing out the remainder of their agreement, we would be happy to continue that dialogue

I would like to correct a discrepancy in my complaint *** because I accidentally wrote something incorrectly
In the original complaint description, I wrote:
"Stericycle is forcing our company to sign a one year contract for unwanted service."
It should actually be
"Stericycle is forcing our company to sign a FIVE year contract for unwanted service."

Stericycle performs call center and product return services on behalf of manufacturers and distributors of consumer products including *** House Stericycle performs services in accordance with our customer's instructions Stericycle has previously escalated the claim referenced above
to *** House At the end of February, *** House informed us that a reimbursement would be sent We have no additional information

So far we have been unable to connect with Dr***, but we hope that he/she will return our message and give us an opportunity to resolve their concernsWe will also continue trying to connect with Dr*** directly and can help to evaluate these options

While we regret Mr*** dissatisfaction, we believe our contract to be entirely valid and bindingWe have attempted to resolve this matter by offering to negotiate with Mr*** and believe we presented an amicable resolution for both partiesAs an attempt to reach a compromise we have
cancelled account# *** without penalty and removed the fees billed in June were no service was rendered

I am rejecting this response because: To repeat my report, Stericycle came into our lab at our dental office and asked a young "after school" worker sign a paper in which she did not know was a contract nor was she authorized to sign a contract with Stericycle After I kept seeing a large charge on our credit card of $1225, I asked who is Stericycle and what was this large charge from them on our card? My wife pays the bills and she thought it was dental supplies and did not ask about it until she saw the cost going up and also wondered what was this charge for......After some research my staff tells me it is the charge to monthly pick up our medical waste I said this is way over charging and to look for another companyI then find out that Stericycle tricked our lab girl into signing a paper that she had no idea was a contract This girl had absolutely no authorization to sign a contract with Stericycle nor any company for that matter My attorney has sent a letter to Stericycle and we will follow up with our attorney Stericycle wants over $13,to terminate their contract Which is outrageous as they are not out any costs for us to stop using them They said they would work with us, they would try to lower the price some...well when we started with Stericycle I noticed looking back on the credit card statements that the price was around $a month then the cost rose every month upto the $amount I told Mark at Stericycle that since I have stopped using them I found a local company that is doing the same job for $50/month and there is no way they would come down to that price In addition, I will not work with a company that has a young lab girl sign a paper that she had no idea what she was signing nor was she authorized to sign it Also, I do not trust a company that AFTER we tell them to take our credit card off of their records, they then try charging my card $ At first, they would not reverse their fraudulent charge until I insisted that they listen to the phone call of my staff person specifically telling them to close our account and not to use our card anymore I suppose their legal counsel told them to refund the money, but that doesn't stop them from trying to collect from us No I am not comfortable using them ever again under any circumstances....I will be contacting my attorney for follactions

While we regret Mr***’ dissatisfaction, the terms and conditions of our agreement does state in section 2a; “This agreement shall automatically renew for successive terms equal to the original term unless either party has given days’ notice in writing during the six month period prior to
the renewal date of its’ desire to terminate this agreement”One of the primary reasons our agreements are set to automatically renew is so that the medical waste removal continues as scheduled, reducing the risk of non-compliance with state regulationsWe have offered to work with *** Ranch on potential resolutions to this matter, however they have insisted upon proceeding with termination of their service agreementNonetheless, we value *** Ranch as a long time Stericycle customer and in the interest of maintaining positive relations we have agreed to waive the liquidated damages previously assessed leaving the amount due $
