Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situationI spoke to [redacted] today July 18th in regards to his refrigerator He has a service call performed by our GE Factory Service Technician on Friday July 15th We replaced a main board We also discounted the parts and labor 25% even though his unit is ½ years old I offered a Letter of Commitment that if he should have any issues over the next year with his refrigerator we would cover the entire service call at no charge He declined We feel this offer is very fair Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance [redacted]

I have spoken to this consumer but I did not agree to refund the service charge

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I already spoke to GE about this exact solution and that it does not workIt is impossible to get my garage door to operate remotely while the dishwasher is runningProgramming the remote also failsThere is also no way to get my remote thermometer to work while the dishwasher is running (it automatically sets up communication when it is turned on)The dishwasher breaks multiple components in my household for hours or more a dayThere is no work aroundThe dishwasher needs to be removed and I want a refund so I can find a dishwasher, like my last GE dishwasher built in the 90s, that does not generate radio interference.Next, GE is going to tell me to get an electrician to look at the problemSince GE installed the dishwasher, they are welcome to pay an electrician to diagnose the problemI will not pay an electrician because I know other dishwashers, like my prior 1990s GE dishwasher, do not cause radio/electrical interference Regards, [redacted] ***
