Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situationI spoke with the GE technician who was at the consumer’s home today 12/12/ready to install parts for the repair The technician was told by [redacted] that the local servicer agreed to exchange his unit for another tomorrow 12/13/ I called [redacted] and he confirmed I apologized that this wasn’t treated as a DOA situation Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance [redacted]

I spoke with Mrs [redacted] on 3/who had confirmed that the pan was received but said the cooking performance was about the same We agreed to refund her money for the range at this time and pick up the appliance from her home I've issued a check in the amount of her full purchase price as a resolution to this situationMrs [redacted] accepted it as a fair resolution to her complaintPlease contact me if you have any further questions or concernsSincerely, [redacted] Program Manager

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Once again, Our refrigerator's filter housing needed to be replaced and we called GE to come fix the problem While fixing it the GE technician damaged both doors The company over a 3-month period tried sending out different sets of doors to replace the ones that they damaged, but every door they sent was damaged as well The told us they could not send anymore doors and can't fix the problem Their solution to this problem is basically selling me a refrigerator at their cost I will still have to pay close to $to get the same model as the one I have now I don't see how this is a fair solution to my complaint GE is not arguing that their technician came into my house and caused more damage that they can't fix I can't believe we keep going back and forth with this The only solution is for them to replace my refrigerator with the same one.I find it interesting in a new report that GE's last CEO [redacted] used to travel in a private jet with another private jet following him just in case that one had mechanical issues It is no wonder that GE profits are spiraling downward with customer service like this FIX MY REFRIGERATOR SO THAT IT LOOKS LIKE IT DID WHEN YOU ENTERED MY HOUSE THE FIRST TIME OR REPLACE WITH AN EQUIVALENT MODEL!!!
