I have been a loyal client for Neiman Marcus for years, every year my family spend thousands in the once great department storeHowever the service is going down dramaticallyMy order got cancel before as well, but I did receive email right the way and stating reason, this time I got nothingWhen I called the customer service, you can understand they don't care about their customers, and the rep is just keep telling me to pay the full price for a new orderThis is the first time, I got into the gift card event, I think this will be my last visit with Neiman Marcus since there are just so many other optionsAnd they do care about their clients

I purchased a pair of Chanel shoes (over text) on December 7th, 2017, through sales associate, Kayla, at Bergdorf Goodman (New York, New York)I requested the item be shipped to me at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Springs between the 14th-17th- which was the duration of my stayThey shipment did not arrive until December 18thBeing that FedEx ships with next day delivery, I was surprised to see the package went standard delivery- which ultimately caused the delayI reached out to Kayla via text on December 17th stating the shoes did not make the requested delivery period and that I would like a refundKayla offered to ship the shoes to another addess but I no longer had a need for themShe suggested I have them shipped to me in Canada and then I can ship them back for a refund, which is an outrageous cost of my time and moneyOn Tuesday, January 2nd I had not heard anything from Kayla and the original FedEx tracking number stated the shoes were still in Palm SpringsShe replied January 3rd with "Hello, it might be delayed because the holidays but I will look into it"On January 8th I hadn't heard back from Kayla so I made my first call to the storeNote, each call is an international long distance call at a cost to me as there is no toll free number when dealing with store ordersThe customer service agent was incredibly rude in his verbiage and tone After a minute long conversation (at $a minute) I was given a FedEx tracking number and was told FedEx would pick up the item on the next business day, January 9thLow and behold the tracking number did not generate so I called back and the associate I spoke with next told me my order number didn't exist and had no interest in helping me further (minute long call)I hung up, called back and spoke with an associate who didn't haven't access to her FedEx login so she transferred me over to another agent for a total of minutes phone timeThis associate gave me a tracking number but it was actually the original tracking number from the shipment from Bergdorfs to the Ritz CarltonI found this out today, January 10th as I wanted to ensure the shoes were picked upBeing that I have lost all faith in any agent at your New York location,
I found a toll free number to which the associate redirected me back to the New York storeI told her I didn't want to be transferred for the above reasons and she put me on hold to reach out herself- the line was disconnectedI then called your New York store and was told that no one currently has access to FedEx so I couldn't be helped, that took another minutesI asked for a customer service phone number or e-mail and she told me "this is it" and that "they don't give out e-mail addresses"I asked to speak with a manager and stayed on the line and was ultimately disconnected as there was no voicemailAt this point, I could careless if the shoes ever make it back to the store I just want a refundThe service displayed was shameful and far from luxuryYour associates have zero grace and lack any common senseI will not shop with Bergdorfs ever again

My sister purchase a Chanel wallet on chain bag as a gift for me several years agoIt was sitting in the closet for yearsSince I couldn't find any explicit return policy for Neiman MarcusI called the store and a sales person said I could return it, if I wasn't satisfied as long as I had the tag and receipt I took the bag back to store and gave it to the sales person but couldn't find anything to exchange it forI asked the sales person if I could get store credit, instant of returning to my sister's credit cardThe sales person made a call and took the bag somewhere to get it examinedAfter coming back she refused to allow me to exchange it or get any type of credit cause she said the bag has been damageI've never wore it or done anything to have damage the bagThe bag is lamb skin so damage could have happen even before the bag was purchased or when the lady took it to get examined

I find Neiman Marcus to be very unethical as I was told my order had been cancelled due to being out of stock which was not truthful
