I have ordered from Swap.com in the past, with little to no problems I had a ton of clothes in storage that I thought I would try to make some money with Skeptical of their charges, shares ect, I fell for the convenience and went for it It has now taken them a month to go through my items, and literally a whole box got rejected! A box of new, to like new, name brand clothes, shoes ectAll should have been beyond great condition for a "Consignment" website What they did accept, were oddly the older, more used clothes Out of items, were accepted I will now being paying the $to return all of my items The pair of snow boots alone I sent, were $Worn twice, but apparently not acceptableI will be selling items on ***, like I should have in the first placeThis company is a scam and a rip off

Amazing customer serviceNever had any problems with my orders or returnsReally great selection of clothes and shoes, they carry a lot of different brands and even brand new items you can purchase for a lot cheaper than in storesJust what to say "thank you" for providing this service, I feel very blessed for finding out about this website

If you are buying from swap, you need to double check you are not purchasing items from swap's merchandiseI don't know where they get this garbage, but basically everything I have bought that was sold by swap was terribleFirst off was two pairs of pants for my daughterThe first was a pair of sweatpants/athletic pantsI cannot even describe the condition of these pantsThey were so dry, they felt disgustingI can't imagine having to wear these against your skin for any amount of timeThey were so pilled and shrunk about two sizes smaller than the size on the tagThe second pair of pants would have been okay, a nice name brand pair of black pantsIt wasn't listed that they were velour, and I couldn't tell from the pictureWhen I received them they were covered in a fine white fuzzIt was so deep in them that no amount of lint rolling or washing could get it outThen I purchased a dress for myself from swaps listed merchandiseWhen it arrived, it may have been at one time a dress but it was extremely shrunken, the sleeves came in the middle of my forearms and it didn't even come past my bumI had decided not to return these things, because I figured they'd just resell them to some other suckerNormally aside from the garbage swap sells, the stuff is goodBut swap does tend to mislabel things on their own website, resulting in clothing that's way the wrong sizeWhich has happened to me twiceThe only somewhat good thing about this is that at least this stuff is in nice shape and I normally just send it back in to resellThis doesn't seem bad, but I've only purchased nine things off the site
Selling on swap is something elseYou can never know what to expect, even though they have a list of rules to followEven when you follow the rules they reject things for seemingly no reasonI'm not completely sure if I trust the training of the people thereI mostly send in new items and some always get rejected for the most ridiculous reasonsI suspect that things happen to these items at the swap warehouse because all my items come from the same place and are stored in the same place in my home For example, how could one item be rejected for strong odor if I bought three identical new items from the same retail store, stored them in the same bin in my home, and shipped them to swap in the same box? Sometimes it almost feels like they sell really bad quality stuff and people complain so they make it harder for the other sellers on the site, like it's our fault they have different acceptance criteria than the average seller
Aside from the actual items, there's the feesWhen something sells for three dollars they don't use a sliding scale or anythingThe processing fee on a three dollar item is a dollar fiftyHalf of the pricePlus thirty percentYou make sixty centsIt's not worth it at all unless the cheapest item you send in sells for six to seven dollarsThey should lower the fee on 3-dollar items if they expect people to sell cheapThey don't realize they can't have their cake and eat it tooThen there's the processing timesIt takes 3+ weeks to get your boxes listed, while swaps own item count grows by the tens of thousands a dayIt's almost like they don't realize that the people who are selling on the site are also paying customersThe waiting list grows and they keep listing their own junk in front of people who are paying to have their stuff listedIt's just craziness

I had a great experience with Swap, shipping is fast, most of my clothes had tagsI am very satisfied with my itemsShopped for myself and my teenage son he loved clothes as well

I sent two big boxes to you and you picked out what you wanted I have sold two things already was waiting for your company to put the money in my *** what I sold was just not a lot but for you to "”put" the money in my *** you had a Inbound service fee of What was the point of sending you my stuff if your just going to take majority of the sale then take the rest of the money for a fee??? Not happy with your service and I will be letting other people know about this nonsense and not to sell to your companyNot only did this happen but I had to wait two months for you just to look at the box*** ** never did this to me and if you don't fix this problem I will be going back with themYour company is a rip offAnd I have read on the Revdex.com that you have done this with other peopleI have emailed your company and they say the same thing, there's a fee for shipping label and to process the boxNever did it say that I was getting these fees, you have to scroll all the way down on the swap.com page and its in fine printIt's a total scam your getting merchandise from people for nothing and then keeping all the money
