Hello,We contacted the customer and were able to resolve the issue by sending the customer coupons for 3 free items.

Dear Mr. [redacted],Thank you for bringing to our attention your recent experience at aTaco Bell restaurant. I'm sorry it wasn't more pleasant. We appreciate: hearing from all of our customers. Our aim is for 100%guest satisfaction in orders and cash transactions, providing a clean andpleasant...

environment, and more importantly serving you great food at valueprices. We pride ourselves in adhering to these high standards consistentlyacross the country. However, every once in the while we make a mistake. Onbehalf of the company, I offer our sincere apology for your unpleasantexperience in our restaurant. As a token of our appreciate for your patronage and for informing us ofthis problem, I'd like to offer you a complimentary meal. While we cant makeup for the inconvenience caused, we do hope you will give us an opportunityto re-earn your loyalty to Taco BellSincerely,Sandra C[redacted]

We apologize that Mr and Mrs [redacted] had to speak with a few different people to handle their request.  We had to get other managers involved since the [redacted]'s request was something out of procedure.  At time the of purchase the [redacted]'s agreed to the terms of sale.  As indicated on...

their receipt, their purchase was indicated a special order and special orders are not subject to  canellation, return or exchange.  Also receipt indicates that: Floor model pricing and 30% or greater discounts are non-cancellable and non-refundable orders.  The [redacted] order was written with 30% off and then an additional 30% off, therefore making this a non refundable order.  Please note that since Mr and Mrs [redacted] request to cancel the order was due to personal issues and Colder's chose to make two exceptions. First to cancel the special order (which the special order merchandise has now arrived as is in our [redacted] warehouse) and then to issue a refund (less the restocking fee).

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve...

my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Thank you for your response with this matter. I did receive correspondence from Taco Bell corporation "[redacted]" on April 17th, and a phone call from an area manager on April 19th. I responded to "[redacted]'s" email approximately 45 minutes after she sent it to me with further clarification about said coupons. These coupons were offered in order to silence my concerns about this fraud that's being committed by the company. I asked that the area Taco Bells be informed of the policy regarding sauce substitutions, and instead of changing the local unethical practices, an area manager saying it was a system limitation and that it would take time for implementation. He also offered me a meal at their store at no cost. While these offers are very generous, I'm still dissatisfied with the results. I'm still getting fraudulently charges 45 cents every time I buy one of these burritos, and "[redacted]" still hasn't responded to me. At this point I'd like to not be charged going forward, and I'd also like $100 for the time this has taken out of my work days to deal with, the emotional trauma the manager put me through when he raised his voice at me and belittled me in public, and to help compensate for the fraudulent charges I've been charged for the past couple weeks. Again, this isn't a new thing, this has been going on for a while   ]

On Oct 13th, 2015 my cousins from out of town and I parked in a lot at Mill and 7th in Tempe clearly marked Pulic Parking. There were two signs in another area of the lot vaguely stating as we understood (and we are educated women) not to park between these signs. So we proceeded to park in a row where other cars were parking and went to dinner. When we returned, my car had been towed. The tow truck was in the process of towing another car and the driver pointed to another hidden sign behind two other parked cars that had been there at the beginning of the row and mysteriously had not been towed. We had to pay 155.00 CASH ONLY and he speed dialed a taxi which arrived a little too soon. Suspicious! Then I had to sign a form IN THE DARK to retrieve my car. Of course, we discovered from his small son who was working with him and out way to late that he towed about 8 cars per night every night. He also owns the lot, the towing company and the retrieval lot. This man has been operating since 2009 and has had numerous complaints. He should be indicted for running a 'bait lot'. I have no doubt those two cars at the end of the row hiding the other sign were bait cars. I also have no doubt that the Tempe Chamber of Commerce is well aware of this scam and allows it to continue for nefarious reasons. The least this sm could do is leave his little son, no older than 8 maybe 9 tops, at home instead of having him out after 9pm!

Review: ROTTEN FOOD...To whom it may concern.I was a customer at the taco bell in [redacted] Pennsylvania on April 17th 2014 at 1030pm. and the manager on dutie was very rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there during normal business hours. when I placed my order she preceded to tell me that there was no potatoes so I asked her if there was no potatoes in the store or if they just didn't have any made. She said well there isn't any made so I asked her to make me some and she said "i guess". I was very thrown off by this. after paying for order I and receiving my food I asked for a receipt and she closed the window and ignored me completely. Also the dinning room lights and the drive threw lights were off and they didn't close for 6 more hours. but none of this was really the end of the world. but what was the straw that broke the camels back was after I got home and opened my food I found a rotten tomato on my crunch wrap supreme. as well there was only meat and cheese and sour cream on one side of it. and it was a disgusting sloppy mess. something must be done. this is not right and the food was sub standard and not up to par as well the restaurant looked very sloppy and was a mess inside. I did get sick shortly after eating it. I would rec amend no one eat there till an investigation is done.Desired Settlement: I would like an investigation of there product safety Tobe conducted. and I would like them to receive a notice about serving rotten food as well as them to give me a full refund of the $11 dollars and change I spent there. I don't know the exact amount because I was never given a receipt.

Review: I tried buying from the app from my phone it told me there was a problem with my billing information please try again so I just deleted the app because I had enough on my card but for some reason it wasn't going through I had the same issue before but for some reason it just won't work so I decided that it must be that the bank declined it because I don't have my personalized card so I got my personalized card in the mail and I went to see how much I have to find that they charged me three times for the failed purchase and credited me once for the same purchase the purchase came to $6.72 but they charged me three times for it and only credited me for only one so they charged me $20.16 but only gave me $6.72 back leaving me $13.44 non-refunded I had a problem like this with another store(not related to taco bell) so I decided instead of complaining and getting nothing done make a complaint to the Revdex.comDesired Settlement: I want to bring light this issue and get whoever charged me this many times terminated a public apology and some restitutions to be made (out of court settlement)

January 4, 2014Complaint on:Taco Bell Restaurant #[redacted] Big Fish DriveSparks, NV 89431775-331-9009http://www.tacobell.comTo: Taco Bell Office of the [redacted], [redacted]On January 4, 2014 at 10:30 am I ordered a Free Soda Drink (senior discount) and a Grilled Nacho Sandwich. I specifically told the female cashier, [redacted], the drink was free. She charged me $1.49. When I complained it was to be free she replied, I gave you the senior discount instead. The drink was to be free, so I asked for a refund and all hell broke loose then. The store manager arrived, [redacted], and he said he can get into trouble if he gives money back to customers. That shocked me that Taco Bell now has a secret no refund policy. [redacted] got on the telephone and called, [redacted] a General Manager and also [redacted] the area coach who both refused to issue me a refund on the soda and for the sandwich. The meal was not yet delivered, and never was delivered. I had to leave the store leaving my money behind because all there managers stole my money and refused to hand it back to me. The telephone conversations between these employees were so intimidating that [redacted] refused to open the cash register and refund my money and chose to steal from a customer and obey his superiors, who are wrong, but he was terrified to do the right thing. These employees comingled together to conspire to steal money from a consumer by refusing to refund money due to that consumer. They disobeyed Taco Bell Corporate Policy to issue to me a free senior citizen drink and rather charged me money for the drink and then refused to refund my money. The public embarrassment I endured was horrific as they argued with me why I could not have my money back. It was Taco Bells policy to not refund customers money. I told them this is unlawful and they did not care and stood their ground with defiant as they were not accountable to law. I ended up leaving all my money behind and I received no drink and no sandwich. I told [redacted] that this is illegal theft of money and activity to defraud, but he would not disobey his superiors order to not refund my money. I told him he has no legal right to keep my money. He refused to open the cash register and refund my money.Bait and Switch - Instead of a refund they offered me a desert item and/or a sandwich, but no refund is their policy. See copy of receipt enclosed/attached, there is no warning given to the consumer that refunds are not permitted under any circumstances. I also had a right to obtain a refund when no food or drink was delivered to me. Taco Bell actually stole my money giving me nothing in return for what I ordered and refused to refund my money when this customer demanded his money is returned to him.I was robbed of my money, by Three Taco Bell managers, which is shameful conduct and an unlawful inappropriate business activity to commit fraud and theft.Taco Bell owes me: $ 2.89[redacted]Product_Or_Service: Sandwhich and Free DrinkOrder_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: Senior Citizens getDesired SettlementRefund of $2.89 and instruct Taco Bell employees to obey consumer law.

I notice the advertisement on your menu screen at a drive through in Durham, NC. 3509 Westgate Dr, Durham, NC 27707 to be specific. The food item adverstisement states that it is a steak and potato burrito, but no mention of bacon being in the sandwich. I think customers who don't eat pork or are allergic to it, should be informed that there is bacon in the burrito to prevent further customer complaints or possible law suites against your company.Product_Or_Service: Steak & Potato Boss WrapDesired SettlementLet people know what sensitive ingredients you have in your food. Like pork products. The word bacon, ham, pork chops or sausage should be mention in your advisements if other food items are mixed with them, so people adverse to these substances can avoid them.Business Response Valued guest.Thank you for the feedback, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We strive to give every customer the best quality product and service and we react on feedback from guest's promptly to continue to do so.

Review: Another unhappy experience at the Taco Bell in [redacted]----Not only was my order wrong but I was given an impromptu and unwelcome lesson on what constitutes avocado and what does not. Apparently Taco Bell does not use avocado to make their guacamole. I ordered a whole meal for my family with the stipulation that none of our order contain avocado. I was disappointed yet again because for the fourth time in a row my grilled Stuft burrito was infused with avocado. Needless to say, I was annoyed. I had to drive back to the store and effectively ruined our family's Sunday treat and time together. I explained to the Manager on duty that had this this been a one-time occurrence I would have been satisfied with another burrito made the right way. However I felt a full refund of our meal was in order because by the time I would have driven back home my daughter would have been in bed and I would have had to eat alone sans my family. Furthermore the rest of my combo would have been cold and inedible. The manager sized me up and decided I was not worth the attention --maybe because I had my house painting clothes on (who knows). She instead decided to try and outsmart me by quizzing me on the difference between avocado and guacamole. She opened up the burrito and asked me to point out where I saw any avocado. The guacamole was all over the inside of the burrito. I was astounded and admittedly taken aback. Her tone of voice and body language made me feel as if she thought she was addressing someone with a marked mental deficiency. Please forgive me if I am mistaken but is avocado not the main (and almost the only) ingredient in guacamole? I have more pressing things to do with my time than to stand there and argue with a manager who in my opinion does not have the demeanor or common sense to recognize a genuine customer concern when they are confronted with one. I called Taco Bell was assured that I would get a response in three business days and have been holding my breath ever since.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and apology from Taco Bell.

Response:

This is the letter that I sent to taco bell on several occasions through their website and they never respond. Today I went to your Elk Grove location store #002751 on7/15/14 @ approx. 4:18 pm. My order was order # [redacted] and the cashier by thename of [redacted] took my order. I ordered 2 nacho bell grandes, 1 chulupasupreme, 1 Baja chulupa, 1 taco supreme, 1 potato griller, 2 chicken chipotlegrillers and a bean and cheese burrito. My bill total was $18.73. With thatsaid my experience today at your restaurant has by far been the worse I haveever had. At the window the boy repeated by order and it was correct. When Igot come I noticed that my daughter’s taco supreme was not in the bag. I calledand spoke to a [redacted], advising her that my order was wrong. She was veryunprofessional and stated I could come in another day to get a new one. I toldher that I was coming back now because my daughter needed to eat and she thenjust hung up. When I got back to taco bell I asked for a manager and to mysurprise it was the same [redacted] that had just hung up on me. I do not see howyou have her as a manager. Again I advised her that my taco supreme was missingand now my food is cold. She stated that she could not remake my food and thatshe will give me a taco. She tossed the taco to me in a bag to where it openedup in the bag. The man at the register could tell I was very upset at thispoint. The taco was a regular taco and I paid and ordered for a supreme. Soagain I had to wait to get it right for the third time. All and all let meremind you all my other food is getting colder. The 2 chulupa shells were hardas a rock. I also have a picture of one of the chulupa’s in the bag was hangingout of the paper all wet and food on the box. It is beyond me how your companywould treat someone so poorly. I would like to know what is going to be done inregards to this situation.

Business

Response:

Business states that they apologize for the unfortunate experience the customer had. Due to the delay in response to the situation along with the poor customer service at the time of the incident, business is willing to refund the whole amount of the whole order. In addition business would like a second chance in getting her order right at no cost to her. Business will directly contact customer to set up possible appointment time.Best Regards, [redacted]Assistant Manager

Review: ON 8/14/15 AT 1:49PM I VISITED THE TACO BELL DRIVE THROW ON SUN CENTERDRIVE IN RANCHO CORDOVA, CA AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER I HANDED THE EMPLOYEE/CASHIER [redacted]. MY DEBIT CARD & SHE RETURNED WITH MY ORDER & PLACED MY RECEIPT IN MY BAG, I PULLED OFF & REALIZED SHE DID NOT RETURN MY DEBIT CARD SO I PULLED OVER & WENT INTO THE TACO BELL LOCATION WHERE I WAS MET BY MANAGER OLGE. I ADVISED HIM THAT HIS EMPLOYEE/CASHIER [redacted]. FAILED TO RETURN MY DEBIT CARD AFTER MY PURCHASE IN THE DRIVE THROW, HE THEN PERCEDED TO ASK THE EMPLOYEES IF ANYONE SEEN A DEBIT CARD & THEN HE CHECKED BY THE CASH REGISTER & STATED THERE WAS NO DEBIT CARD THERE & THAT HIS EMPLOYEES ARE TRAINED TO HAND DEBIT CARDS BACK AFTER EACH TRANSACTION. I ADVISED HIM MY DEBIT CARD WAS NOT RETURNED, HE CONTINUED TO STATE MY BEDIT CARD WAS NOT THERE & NONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES HAD IT. I LEFT THE TACO BELL & CALLED MY BANK & WAS ADVISED BY THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT THERE WAS AN ATTEMPT FOR A PURCHASE TO BE MADE ON MY DEBIT CARD AFTER MY ORIGINAL TRANSACTION AT TACO BELL. I REQUESTED TO HAVE MY DEBIT CARD CANCELLED WHICH CAUSED A GREAT DEAL OF DISRUPTION. I THEN HAD TO LEAVE MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT EARLY DUE TO MY DEBIT CARD BEING STOLEN IN ORDER TO GET A REPLACEMENT. I CONTACTED TACO BELL CORP. & SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR BY THE NAME OF [redacted] WHO TOOK MY COMPLAINT & ADVISED ME I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL BACK WITHIN 24-72 HOURS. I WAS CONTACTED ON MONDAY 8/17/15 BY A TACO BELL EMPLOYEE NAMED [redacted] FROM THE SUN CENTER LOCATION & ADVISED MY DEBIT CRAD WAS FOUND, I RETUNED THE PHONE CALL & SPOKE WITH THE MANAGE [redacted] WHO STATED MY LOST DEBIT CARD WAS FOUND & I COULD PICK IT UP OR THEY COULD DISCARD THE CARD & I ADVISED HIM MY CARD WAS NOT LOST & THAT IT WAS STOLEN & SHORTLY AFTER I LEFT SOMEONE ATTEMPTED TO USE MY DEBIT CARD. HE THEN STATED HE LOCKED MY CARD IN A SAFE THE WHOLE WEEKEND & THAT THEY COULD CUT THE CARD UP IF I HAD ALREADY CANCELLED IT & I ADVISED HIM THAT I WOULD LIKE THE CARD BACK & I NEEDED HIS MANAGERS INFORMATION. I SPOKE WITH [redacted]..Desired Settlement: I SPOKE WITH THE DISTRICK MANAGER [redacted] & ADVISED HIM OF THE ISSUE & HE STATED HE WOULD CONTACT THE EMPLOYEE & MANAGER AT THE LOCATION FOR MORE INFORMATION & THAT HE WOULD GIVEN ME A CALL BACK ON 8/18/15. HE FAILED TO FOLLOW UP. I MISSED WORK DUE TO THIS ISSUE & IT'S CAUSED ME A GREAT DEAL OF STRESS, I WILL NOT EVER MAKE ANOTHER PURCHASE FROM THIS TACO BELL LOCATION OR ANY OTHER TACO BELL FRANCHISE.

My card was charged twice and I didn't know it until a week later and went vack up there to get my money back. Well they told me to call the corporate office I did and I have not heard from anybody for more than 2 months no one seems like they care about a mistake they made by hiring kids.Desired SettlementI want my money

Review: This is to let you know of the most horrible experience at your store I've EVER had. Not only did I have an almost 20 minute wait for 3 nacho tacos while the store had workers in the front of the business talking to his buddies, There were a good 8-10 people waiting behind ME!!! They weren't busy, they weren't WORKING PERIOD! I had the police threatened on me when I tried to complain to the manager, who hid behind the soft drink cooler at the drive thru, and the little brunette ([redacted]) telling everyone in back I was "wigging out" All I wanted was for the manager to write the time(when I got my food) on my ticket order and for him to initial it. THATS IT. I wasn't yelling, I wasn't using foul language(PLEASE feel free to check the surveillance cameras, you will see the whole thing!!) The brunette, [redacted] came out suddenly and told me that I could either leave now, or they would call the police for causing a disturbance.Desired Settlement: Further training and or disciplinary action against said manager on duty at the time (6pm Central standard time June 14th 2015) AND Disciplinary action against the cashier ([redacted])who was telling the whole work crew in back that I was "wigging out" And for the worker that was out front of the store talking with his friends during a "short staffed busy time." He was tall (at least 6ft) had short red hair and facial acne)

What a great experience3 at Taco Bell at [redacted] in Memphis!!! Was there Tuesday and The Burrito was on the drive thru sign for 2.49 and the charge was 2.69. The excuse was that the price change during the night. Well I was there Friday and the sign was still 2.49 and the charge was 2.69. The response was I don't do the sign. But trying to send a message through the Taco Bell Site shows what the company in all about. It is under construction...Yeah! Ya try to go on site and you can't even contact the company. Maybe [redacted] is right.Desired SettlementGet someone to take care of regular business.
