Be Careful if you buy from Tanga. I purchased an item that was represented as new, but it only had a 30 day warranty, which is a warranty for a refurbished unit. The item quit after about 45 days, Tanga said the return period was over....tough luck. They consider their return period of 30 days as also being the warranty period, and never really state what their warranty is. I am not the only person that has had this experience. You are better off with [redacted]. I will not buy anything from them in the future

There are times when I wanted to buy items that were more costly so I held off. When Tanga advertised these same items at lower prices I was delighted and have been making purchases. From spending as little as $5 to $99 dollars for a laptop. Items received on a timely basis and packaged well.

Review: I bought a pair of curtain panels from tanga.com. They were advertised as "heavy faux silk" which clearly implies a heavy material and in none of the item pictures, did it look semi-transparent or translucent in anyway. So when I received the curtains I was very surprised to find out they were see-through, had a rough texture, and looked nothing like silk. The description clearly states "Smooth, soft fabric", which is not the case. Here's the link for the item: https://www.tanga.com/deals/5b0b06626faf/heavy-faux-silk-40-x84-grommet-window-p... />
I contacted them the day after I received the item, asking for a full refund and a pre-paid shipping label since the website description of the item was deceptive and inaccurate. Their response 2 days later was that I had to pay for shipping to return the item and a 15% restocking fee applied. So I wrote them back and told them this was not acceptable as I did not purchase a semi-transparent pair of curtains like the ones they sent me and told them I would file a complaint with Revdex.com and dispute the charge if they did not give me a full refund and pay for return shipping. Their final response was the same as before: that I was responsible for the return shipping and the restocking fee despite them sending me something different than what they advertised in their site. How disrespectful is this kind of treatment to a customer? I will never buy anything else from tanga.com and will write them bad reviews explaining this situation anywhere I can until this is made right.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for my purchase and a pre-paid shipping label to send these curtain panels back.

Review: I purchased an item from Tanga.com. The item I purchased did not fit. I returned the item to tanga.com via USPS shipping. I contacted the Tanga.com after I received delivery confirmation and no feedback from Tanga.com regarding the returned item. When I contacted customer service I was informed that the item was returned after the 30 day return period and the item couldn't be refunded. When I followed up by asking if my item I purchased would be returned to me, I was informed that the item was lost in the warehouse and sorry.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a refund or my items returned. Preferably a refund

Review: I purchased a Macbook for my grandson from this site. Upon delivery my grandson opened it and discovered that the computer was broken, scratched, and dirty. I tried contacting the company to request a return and a full refund and I have not heard anything form them at all. I have pictures of the computer and no where on the product page or description was this item described as used or refurbished. I am extremely upset as this was a birthday gift.Desired Settlement: I just want to return the item and get a full refund

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10748714, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The Tanga company did send a return label, however they did not send it until 8/4/15, not 8/3/15, which is an important detail. This information is important, because there are other multiple issues with their return policy. Per their site, Tanga states that computers (which is the item I purchased) must be returned within 15 days. When I received the email from Tanga in regards to returning the item, the email stated that the item must be mailed out within 5 days of the label being emailed, and must be received by Tanga within 10 days of the label being emailed - which completely contradicts their website. The item was sent out on 8/5/15, and per USPS tracking, has not been located since it left a facility in Reno, NV on 8/7/15. Tanga had the return label addressed to a Postage Due Unit, which I was informed by the USPS that that was the slowest possible way to send any item, and that since it was going to a Postage Due Unit, that added a couple of days to the shipping time. I have been in contact with the USPS at great lengths, and I have an official complaint/investigation/case number ([redacted]), due to the fact they now cannot locate the package. My biggest concern is that the company advertised this item as refurbished, but sent it broken and dirty, and now have put constraints on me that I have no control over in returning the item to them, in that I have no control over the shipping speed and errors the post office may make along the way. I tried to call Tanga, however the only option is to leave a message that they will respond to within 48 business hours, which will put us past the time limit they have placed on us in getting the item back. I feel like I have been scammed by this company both in purchasing a mislabeled item and by being forced to return it in a method that may or may not work based on their arbitrary constraints.Attached are pictures of the "refurbished" lap top as well as a picture of the return label with the tracking information for you all to review as well.

Review: I left the country 9/3/2013 I ordered stuff from Tanga.com on 9/30/2013 and came back 12/17/2013. I came back and had a death in the family by the time I could sort through all the shipments that were delivered in my absence it was January. I had an order with 9 things and had problems with 2 - one was something that was sent instead of what I ordered the second was something that I did order that came with missing crystals.Desired Settlement: That I return the item that was not ordered since they do not and did not have what I ordered.

Also return the item with the missing crystals.

Regards,

Ordered item advertised on their website. Received shipping notification 2 days later. After almost 2 weeks with no activity showing on the tracking number, I emailed company to get an update. Was told the item would be sent by the end of the week and updated tracking information by the weekend. Friday evening, I receive an email confirming cancellation of the order and refund would be 48 hours. Emailed company back regarding their poor customer service and got the standard "sorry for the confusion" response! Stop overselling products!!

Review: I received a defective computer it was unable to connect to wifi. I was instructed to return the item for my refund to be issued. I returned the item [redacted] with tracking & confirmation. Tanga has received the item, it was signed for by an [redacted] according to [redacted] on 3/12. I have emailed & called Tanga customer service numerous times all I have been given is the run around.Desired Settlement: I would a refund of the purchase price of $799.99

I placed an order on November 5 2013, Tanga charged my credit card that same day. Waited the maximum of 10 days that the company says it may take for an order to be sent out. I checked my order after the 10 days, my order has not even packaged for shipping. I sent an email and I get a response back that is linked to the FAQ section of the website. So, I wait and try to give them the chance to send my order. I email them again, and I get the same response back, FAQ section of the website. I had to create an account just to place a comment on their website regarding my order. Tanga decided to refund my money because of the wait. My refund was back on my card on December 6 2013, a month later. Someone needs to investigate this company, due to the fact of false advertising. Just go to their website, go under Contact support, Click on meet the rest of the team, scroll down and pick anyone of their employees names starting from the bottom, you will see how many complaints are in the comments list that is negative, most of them are the same complaint.

I ordered 2 shirts on 17 June 2013, and was promptly billed for my order. I waited the 10 days the company says to wait for the order to be delivered. It was not. I emailed them and sent a copy of my order. They emailed and asked which items were missing. I emailed back and said the whole order! Then, they told me the items were on backorder. Why didn't they tell me that upfront, so I could cancel my order, if I wanted to?

30 days later, I received only one item in the order. I emailed and asked where the other item was? The response was they will "resend" the missing item. There was no "missing" item. Based on their emails, I believe they never had/sent the item. I do not recommend this company. They are very poorly managed and cannot keep track of their shipping.

I have ordered from this site (Tanga) several times and am pleased with the service.

Very great staff to work with. Quick, fun, professional and down-to-earth, very refreshing! The deals are great as well!

I like dealing with Tanga. They seem very honest and eager to please. They have unusual products. I'm a fan

Review: They shipped the wrong sized item (pants). Tanga.com say they will contact the manufacturer. However, I haven't heard back from them in a monthDesired Settlement: I am looking to exchange the product to the right size or receive a full refund for my order.

I received my 3-Pack Earphones I ordered from Tanga that I saw on Coupon Cabin.I was not impressed with the quality of the earphones, do you know you have to turn the volume way up just to hear anything when you listen to the radio, and when I plug them into the cardio machine at the gym, you can't even hear the TV hardly with the volume all the way up. I really question the quality of this product with Tanga. The volume control on the headphones does not work, to answer the phone, the mic did not work to talk with phone call. I wrote to them, but they never did anything nor responded to my second email. I told Coupon Cabin too that I did not like that Tanga was not responsive to poor quality products they are selling for them. Tanga did not have a review option on their website although I asked to put a review about these no-name headphones that are junk. 3 for $11, it is not a lot, but you expect something somewhat decent, these headphones and Tanga both were bad, Tanga did not stand behind a junky product they sell that does not work worth beans. I will not buy with them again because of:1) poor customer service and 2) them selling low quality products, and 3) Tanga does not stand behind what they sell. I hope they can improve.

I ordered from them in two different orders. One came partially filled with items missing. The phone number doesnt work and noone will email me back. I cant even get in touch to return orders. They take your money and run. Do not order from this company, I doubt they are even a real company, just a scam.

Tanga is new to me. I bought a few things from them, and was pleased with them all. My latest order, however, was just not right for me, and I contacted them to return it. Wow! I was surprised by how quickly they responded and then how quickly they refunded my payment! I am really impressed. They say they are a small company and I guess because of that, you get personal service.

I recently bought a pair of slippers on Tanga. Normally I take a large, so that is what I ordered. The slippers took weeks to be delivered which was a minor inconvenience since it's summer anyway. However, the slippers didn't fit and when I asked to return them, they required I pay shipping on the return. To me, any online retailer that sells clothing and apparel needs to have a no questions asked return policy. In this case, the return shipping will cost more than the slippers themselves. So I will just give them to [redacted] and simply never shop with Tanga again. I understand shipping is expensive, but far less than the cost of overhead for a brick and mortar store.

I have placed and order with them on Feb 13th. Delivery between Feb 23-Mar 5. Order still says processing. I sent an email and still no response. No product.

I emailed them about another product I was going to order. They didn't answer me until 4 days later. Well, I did not order that product figuring if I had a problem with it then it would be impossible to get a hold of them especially that they do not have a phone number or a direct customer service chat.
