How does a business with negative reviews have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com I've been with GoDaddy for several years and have several websites with them that are all on auto-renewI've had my share of issues with them over the years as expected but it seems to be getting worse When the "Supervisor" sounds like someone off the street corner and has no couth it's a huge problem for me A "Supervisor" is suppose to be more advance that regular staffSo the customer service isn't customer service at the point when you have to ask the "Supervisor" to repeat themselves multiple times because you cannot understand one work they are saying The problem evolved from me discovering that one of the several domains that I have with GoDaddy was cancelled because the auto-renew didn't go through like it did for all of the other domainsSo I contacted them to get an understanding of what was going onThe minute estimated hold ended up being close to minutes before an agent came took

I've paid for a year of service and the company has corrupted the year of service on their end I called them directly to report such They wrote a ticket to repair it ensuring it will be taken care of in hours (protocol) hours passed, they're asking for another hours or additional funds None of which can help my business and I feel like a sucker Who pays for a service then gets asked to pay again to ensure the initial service????

I was automatically charged for another year When I saw my credit card statement I saw the bill$ I was contacted several weeks ago by a Godaddy rep and I told them I did not want their service as I haven logged on for over months The service did not work for me and I did not want to continueI called the customer service number and spoke with sacia on 2/3/@11:48am est She said they were not going to refund my$ because it was over days The charge on the statement was on 12/27/ How would I know I was charged within the day period This is deceptive business practice and I am looking for a full refund Thank you

Godaddy erroneously charged me for "hosting" accounts for "domain" account There should've only been "hosting" account charged per "domain" account This is a mistake made by Godaddy I have spoken to individuals in the billing department and they refuse to rectify the situation (Customer #: [redacted] , Order Number: [redacted] )

Friday, May 11, 2018, GoDaddy automatically renewed my domain, directhitonline.com, charging me $for identification protection, which I did not request or want I called GoDaddy, spoke with [redacted] the supervisor who said he would remove the protection feature but threatened if he had to refund the protection fee, they would take my domain from meI told them not to take my domain, I would pay for the renewalFinally he said he would let my domain in my name Today, I find out [redacted] took my domain name which has been mine business domain for years

For years in a row GoDaddy has allowed my domain [redacted] (and several others) to expireMy cr is [redacted] I have owned this domain for 8+ years and have everything from my business tied to the email associated with the domainThey then ask for a redemption fee (last year they wanted $400) This year was much worseFirstly they only send emails to tell you to renewNo phone calls, and no letter in the mail Secondly they allowed the services to continue as if nothing was wrong after the domain expiredI had no clue that the domain expired because they allowed me to use it for almost days after it expired! If they would have shut it down at the expiration date I would have known something was wrongAfter days of expiration it goes into redemptionThen was sold days later to a domain squatter who is now trying to extort money from me I have contacted GoDaddy and even though they can see that the domain is breaking the regulations of

I have been paying monthly for my website to remain on-line at [redacted] via GoDaddy's hosting serviceEvery month, I receive a notice about pending expiration, and that I need to pay the bill, and I pay itI have not missed a monthly payment, and have been doing this for approximately a year nowI've been paying approximately $per month December was differentI received an expiration notice on December I was traveling out of state for the first time in five years to see my family for the holidays on December 15, so that combined with a full inbox with too many emails, meant that I missed the expiration noticeI received a second expiration notice On December 23, which is the anniversary of when my ex-husband filed for divorce behind my backI don't deal well with this day, and to avoid negative things like self-harm and suicide, I typically engage in some form of distraction, like visiting a friendI received a third notification on January I saw

I contacted Go Daddy explaining that we were charged $for web domains we did not know we had by automatic renewal through our operating bank account last monthThe previous director of our chamber signed an agreement in for these domains with a year renewThat person left our organization years ago so we had no way of knowing about this agreementThe lady signing our chamber up for this agreement was Traci Norton, and the cr is [redacted] Receipt number is [redacted] for $We have cancelled these domains today and updated the previous director with my contact informationI am disappointed that Go Daddy would not work with us after such a long agreement that was paid in advanceI do not want our small town non profit paying for an unused domain for the next yearsI am asking that Go Daddy refund the [redacted] $Thank you

Due to the abysmal service I received from Godady, instead of utilizing any of the purchased package, most notably the Domain Name and the Email account, I immediately requested that everything be transferred back to 1andmy previous provider We are approaching weeks since I contacted Godady requesting that the entire package be canceled, the domain name be sent back to 1andand a full refund be returnedI have been given numerous conflicting statements that I thought it imperative to record the calls On Friday July, 20, 2018, I spent over hours of my day going back and forth with Godady I conversed with Bobby who initially advised me that it would take 2-mins to obtain the codes to transfer the domain name back to 1andHe then advised me that it would minsI requested a manager and was transferred to Ryan Ryan advised me that Bobby was doing a great thing for me by downloading the codes to transfer the domain name back to 1and He confirmed that in ord

We opened a Go Daddy account in The site was disabled less than months later without reason Go Daddy continued to collect funds from our credit card even though they were informed that the account was disabled and I was unable to use it After continued attempts at contact and correction, we approached our credit card company and asked that the charges be denied During the dispute; duration of years, Go Daddy agreed to pay a portion of our charges We were not paid $ Because this was so time-consuming, my husband and I essentially gave up This is not right We are not benevolent agents for Go Daddy We would like to be treated fairly; pay for a service that is useable This has been ongoing since the end of Our lives have been busy and our time is, like other's, valuable This is not right Thank you for your time and consideration

My name is [redacted] I am GoDaddy Cr [redacted] I was informed by Customer Service personnel that ~for reasons unknown to me~ I also appear in their records with Cr In February 5th2018, I entered a contractual agreement with GoDaddy to host a web site of my choiceAt that time, I also purchase a new Domain NameBoth transactions are shown in the Screenshot of the invoice with Order Number [redacted] which is attached to this claim I decided to abandon the Domain Name I acquired that day, I then decided to host a web site that I own since the year I proceeded to enquire GoDaddy Customer Service personnel as to how I should upload files and graphics At that time, I was informed that my web site was wrongly assigned the Windows Operating System, and that transferring my account to a [redacted] will cost approximately $ Since I voluntarily abandoned the Domain Name [redacted] , I assume the lose; but I do not acc

I paid to renew a domain I own for two years I was billed twice for this transaction I was charged for two transactions at each I contacted Godaddy who promised to refund the second charge of for additional years of registration that was not requested or authorized after days with no refund, I asked my bank to revoke the paymenti supplied them with screen shots of the promised refund and billing information showing the double billing Without contacting me, Godaddy Cancelled the registration of my domain, despite the fact it was valid, registered for two years from the first payment I was contacted by a client saying my website was no longer in existence and because of that the board of is association chose another contactor I contacted godaddy who told me I had to pay an fee to get my site back on, despite the fact the registration was valid and never should have been cancelled as the first transaction of was valid and had no i

On Feb 9th, Godaddy emailed me to let me know my site had been flagged for malware that had been added to my remote web server They failed to mention in this notice that they disabled email functionality for my account in the process, despite my website being a portfolio website containing tutorials and also used on my resume It was not until this past weekend when diagnosing a different issue that this came up, and the solution required was to purchase a separate security package to help ensure the issue would not happen again The issues here are multiple: This computer my site is on is already being scanned by their software, else I would have never been flagged in the first place Next, there is no indication that these files came from me or anything having to do with my home system, as many users are on a shared server like this -- it could have been a simple password hack on my godaddy account itself, my ftp account, or potentially the account of another user on the syste

I have been a Go Daddy customer for years and have paid the company thousands of dollars each year for domain names, websites and other services the company offersFor years and months it has been a great relationship as a VIP clientThat is until the last two months when GoDaddy began fat shaming me on an almost daily basis with its suggested domainsExamples (my first name)heavy (my last name).com; (my first name)heavy(myfirstname)(my last name).com (as well as .us) I reported this to Go Daddy, including my VIP Contact Brian R [redacted] and several others in the VIP departmentAt first they blamed it on an algorithm that purportedly suggest names based on other domains you ownNeither I nor my company own names that contain the word heavy, fat, obese, diet or anything like that, The content of one website uses the word "heavy" as an adjective to discuss the merits of heavy appetizers vs a sit down dinner for a future eventSo in order to have got the word heavy Go Daddy would have had to use Artificial Intelligence to scan the content of websites (words and pictures, meta tags) , not just domain names owned by GoDaddy customersHad this been a one off occurrence, I probably wouldn't bother writing this, but this is now something that has been happening just about every day for the last two monthsIt's totally ridiculousIf I have multiple websites and hundreds and hundreds of domains, why such a concentration with my name and heavy? Whether or not this is an ethical practice on behalf of GoDaddy or within its terms of service agreement, the development may affect others so I am making a good faith effort to get the word out here and on other complaint sitesGo Daddy's reps were informed that this was coming, because they lack the sensitivity, willingness or apparent authority to stop this oppressive shaming from occurring on an almost daily basisPreferred solution: They know who I amGet it to stop

Had the domain [redacted] for yearsThis domain was renewed when I renewed [redacted] - They sent me an email saying my domain is canceledOnly one and now I can't get it backI have been a customer for yearsThis is an error and they need to fix this problem immediatelyIf not, I will be going to court because I know for a fact this domain was renewed

After 10+ years of paying for service, GoDaddy changed my permissions to my folders on my website WITHOUT my knowledge I am a web Developer and now my customers are down I was on the line for hours and still cannot get my clients websites online GoDaddy's customer service is a total waste of time After many years of payment GoDaddy doesn't care about the customers, they only care about the money they get each month DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Use any other company I WILL be suing them for breach of ToS
