I had originally purchased some domains with godaddy.com that originally renew automaticallyI was not satisfied with my service and hidden charges so I decided to cancel all four of my domainsMy account number with godaddy.com was # [redacted] .Canceling was an extreme hassle seeing as godaddy.com kept on charging me after the cancellationAfter many calls to the company I was able to cancel my domains on January 6, 2016, with this cancellation I also have email confirmation that my domains were cancelled My canceled domains are as fallows: [redacted] m , [redacted] , [redacted] The problem arrived when on December 9,I received an email from godaddy.com stating that my payment method is missing and expires soon with the fine text that they have the right to charge my account with auto renewal

Our account was automatically billed for unnecessary services totally up to a little under $200! These services were setup by our website developer who is no longer with us and it was setup in 2015!! We were not aware that these charges were being made or that they were originally configured on auto-rebill, and when we found out the customer support representative said they were not able to give a prorated refund regardless of our situation We are days outside of the day refund policy We don't feel that we are being treat as a valued customer and are being scammed with the auto rebilling policy structure that is completely designed to take advantage of unaware or apathetic customersWe are extremely unhappy about these charges as nearly $is a lot of money for us to pay for services that aren't being used nor wantedYes we are to blame as those charges should not have gone unnoticed on our credit card statement but give the fact that our web developer did not communi

I have several domain names and hosting services with GoDaddyOne account that I have not even used ( [redacted] ) went into repayment in FebruaryMultiples times prior to the one year auto-renew I tried to cancelI was called by GoDaddy during business hours, which I previously indicated I could not answer out of fear of jeapordizing my jobI called back immediately - only to reach an unknown numberI tried to login to my account, but because they have been merged in the past, this did not work (a repeat problem I have had them address in the past)They called today (4/12), I told them, but they refused to assistI spoke to a service representative, Matt, and his supervisor, DonnieMatt quoted me the day cancellation policy, which I stated was irrelevant due to my attempts and that they are charging me for one year of a product I do not useDonnie did the same and was quite rude, turned off auto renew as if this was a favor, and ultimately he hung up on me (purposel

I got my domain transferred to a wrong personAnd while transferring I was told in an e-mail by GoDaddy that "If for any reason this information is incorrect or you feel this change of registrant request was made in error, please contact us within days at [email protected]." You can see this here: [redacted] I upon noticing the error in transferring, instantly contacted them on the said email address to stop itYou can see my email here: [redacted] But they returned to me with a TOTALLY unexpected and opposite response to what was stated in their emailYou can read their email below: -------------------------- Support Staff Response Hello ***, We understand that you moved a domain to another account in errorUnfortunately, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) won’t allow registrars to get involved in domain agreementsWe know this may be frustrating, but at this point, our investigation is closed What

I was trying to secure the domain name of [redacted] I aaw that it was already takenWhen I looked it up, it said it was repossessed by Godaddy.comi contacted them directly to find out if iI could buy itI was told that I would have to go through the proxy service to buy itI asked them why I would have to do that when they already owned itI gave up and paid in am effort to buy itWhen they discovered they oqned it, they refundwd my moneyI was told for a fee, I could reaerve it once it becam availableI paid and waitedI was eventually told it was up for auctionI called again and asked why I could not just buy it as that was my understandingI was told I had to secure it through the auctionI bod on it and waitedFive minutes beforw the auction was to end, another bid came inI tried to bid on it but it said I had to sign inI was confused as I was already signed inDespite that fact, I signed in again and it would not allow me to bidAfter I thought I had l

I made a purchase with Godaddy on June 30th that was to renew my vps server as well as to upgrade to 3gb serverAt checkout it stated that I owed $for month for the renewal and upgrade of my serverI receive the receipt of the transaction which also stated that the term paid for was month and that it was for the 3GB server for month term (I have saved copy of email receipt)In my GoDaddy server dashboard it stated that my server was to still expire on July 14th even though I just purchased the renewal/upgradeContacted Godaddy asking why and now they are stating I owe $because I only paid for a partial month and yet the checkout and receipt stated I paid for a month term! I have been a GoDaddy customer for over years (# [redacted] ) and have spent thousands of dollars with this company and to be treated like I was on the phone by their staff is terrible

Hi, I was charged an $redemption fee for a site that I did not receive any notices regarding it expiring Once someone notified me that my site was down, I went to renew right away I think it is inappropriate to not send renewal notices I had happily signed up for years, but without a clue as to it expiring, I had no reason to revisit the site after years Once it expired, I was unable to transfer out the site to another host without paying the redemption fee I absolutely do not mind keeping it at GoDaddy, but it felt like my domain was held hostage

The bank account that was on file to renew my services with Go Daddy was closed with out my knowledge and the payment did not processI received an email for Go Daddy on February 5th, "One or more of your domain names is PROTECTEDExpiration Protection means you've avoided loss of registration due to credit card expiration, failed billing, outdated contact information – even simple forgetfulnessYour domain(s) will remain protected for year, at which point it will be put up for redemption if left unrenewedLearn more."Based on this email I was led to believe that I had one year protection on my domain name rpecorp.comOn April 10th, I contacted GoDaddy to renew by protected domain name and they told me that email was incorrect I my domain name was purchased by someone elseGoDaddy was unwilling to honor the protected clause in the email sent and they are unwilling to help me get my domain name back unless I pay an exorbitant amount of money for the domain recovery serviceT

I Purchased a 3yr shared hosting from Godaddy, days ago I started having a problem accessing my shared folder, after a ton of research, I seek the support of a Microsoft networking engineer, he pointed out that the issue was a packet being dropped before it reached the server hosted on godaddy I called Godaddy (Secureserver.net) customer while Microsoft was on hold and I spoke to JillP, I then told her what the issue was, she said that since we manage the server hardware, there is nothing she can doIf's this is a VPS(Virtual Server) how do we manage the hardware? to continueshe put me on hold and said she will go and ask the server department, she came back and said that they were no issuesI spoke to sonicWALL and Microsoft engineers both are saying that packets are being dropped before it reached the virtual server

Warning to all #Godaddy future customers: #GoDaddy continues to disappoint me and many other small business owners I’ve talked toThis message is to warn you to beware! #Godaddy still does nothing to make amends with customers they mess over thru mistakes or employee errorsI plan to find a way to stop utilizing #Godaddy services when I can do it without negatively impacting my business and my customers/clients#Godaddy’s mistakes are extremely costly after years of my company paying money to them for the privilege of continued abuse and/or poor expensive serviceThe latest poor #Godaddy service is the fact that my website ( [redacted] ), after paying for a secure SSL, has been sending my visitors a message saying “my site is a threat to steal the customer's informationGo back to safety or advance at your own risk!” THIS WAS HORRIFYING! The site eventually worked within the 72-hours they said it would take to fix itOver the last few months, I have had people and companies mysteriously block my company (Scholarship Leadership Institute; aka SLI) b/c of this crazy spam message! I have sent out email campaigns to over potential customers twice w/extremely poor resultsI have made bids on contracts for $17,000,and they went to the siteI'm saddened that these potential clients/customers probably saw that spam pageLastly, I purchased specialty ink pensI couldn't add "https://” to the URL due to space limitations so I added "www" thinking it would still default to my secure website, as I was toldTo my shock and horror, the vendors (i.e., ***, [redacted] , **, ***, [redacted] , etc.) from the recent conference I attended in Austin were probably also sent to the spam page! This is unacceptable! Then I got a response from #Godaddy during the call indicating they see the problem and planned to expedite the matterThey promised to send me an email when the problem is resolvedIf I could come up with a value of "business loss" to sue #Godaddy for, I wouldBut I'm too frustrated to even deal with #Godaddy right now#Godaddy made no attempt to give me any compensation for my troubles, mistreatment, etc., or knock off anything from my expensive SSL bill for services that I didn’t even have unless people typed “https://“So they eventually fixed my SSL certificate correctly like they should have done months ago, while not compensating me or doing anything to make me feel like they value me as a customerI'm not happy with their service so I plan to share my dissatisfaction via email, social media, and on stages all over AmericaThis is no way to treat their valued customers who exclusively use their company and I told them as muchIt’s gonna take a while, but I will eventually find other companies who won’t take me and other small businesses for granted! I don’t know how much money I have lost over the last few months due to #Godaddy but I will spend the rest of my time on the planet letting people know about my experience with #GodaddyIf they haven’t made the mistake of using #Godaddy for emails, domain, or website services, I will advise them to RUN! #Godaddy is not the company you think they are AND they take business owners like me for grantedEnough is enough! They still haven’t told me the results of what happened or if can happen againI’ve wasted money running [redacted] Ads, email campaigns, etcand they haven’t even apologized for what they did to my business! I wrote most of this on a #Godaddy email survey after my call complaining about the SSL issue and haven’t heard back from them at allI’m not sure why I expected it, but #Godaddy will continue to hear from me until they do right by me and my companyI promise to warn as many businesses as possible about my experience and poor #Godaddy customer service experienceI gave them a 1-rating b/c I don't know how to leave a 0-ratingIf they respond to this and say they have reached out to me, they will be lying! I've checked my spam, overflow, etcemailNOTHING FROM GODADDY even after they promised to contact meCrappy customer service!

I [redacted] made Godaddy customer service , technical help department and other departments of possibility that someone might be trying to hack into my account after I got an email from GoDaddy that one of my domain names was about to be transferredI have called GoDaddy customer service making them aware of the fact that I did not initiate any transfers and to make sure my account is secureRight next day I have called again to make sure my account is secure and I was reassured by one of the customer service representatives that it is for sure secure but to make it more secure it would a good idea to change my password and my pin numberI immediately agreed to this statement and instantly changed my password and my pin number Next day I have tried to login to my account and was not able toWhen I called GoDaddy customer service I was informed that my account belongs to someone else Then I was informed to contact [email protected] department to help me login back to my

I purchased a hosting plan on Dec29, 2017, order # [redacted] with email free for yearbut today I asked for help to setup email account, I was told that there is NO email plan for this order, so I called the support, and she is treated people as aliens, and say I dropped the email plan after order! what a ironic responseand offered to pay for new email plan as the order was bought as is nowi told her I have proof what we ordered that day, and I do not need anything else but original order, not the order now that you changed after we purchased! it is terrible practice like this, you changed the order and take the product from your package and now ask for more money, which I totally reject she and ask her to connect to her manager, and she refusedso here I am to ask for justice and tell the story to othersBe careful with the company like this, and keep your recordso she can't lie and hold her reponsonsibility! get the proof, then I call you, okbut too much time

They don't give us chance to fix copyright problem And we don't know who uploaded these videos, cause we just a video website like youtubeThe users can upload what they might like When we saw the email, then we found the whole server is already shut down I sent emails and call them again and again , but no response This behaviors looks like robbery If they got any information with problem content or behaviors We are happy to remove these contents even the whole site permanently and add pending system Let it never happen againBut it not a right way to shutdown whole server without any notification They shut down our small business, and don't give us any notificationOur employees have nothing to work Cause on this server, we also have our small business website, which is total authorized and legal

I registered for godaddy.com and bought our domain name from them along with others It came with or I further purchased email with them as well A few years into the service, after I renewed my contract, they started having computer issues and I couldn't get into godaddy or my email Customer service said that they were updating their service and that they new they were having issues So they told me that I woud have to upgrade to their new program for years to have my service work correctly and to stop being locked out of my account I continued to try to get into godaddy and I couldn't I also couldn't get into my email So eventually I had to change my email to a google email address Godaddy, despite my not being able to get on the site, continues to auto bill me on my domain names and I am not able to get into my account to stop it I have been on the phone with them again this evening for an hour [redacted] Min Iowa says that he is the "highest point of contact in the c

I use GoDaddy for web hosting and email service Three years ago they added a free Calendar tool that I never used In my latest auto renewal statement they started charging for this Calendar tool I contacted them when I found the charge on my Credit Card bill I called GoDaddy twice and both times I was told I was a few days past the day period to cancel the service I never saw the invoice email they sent and called immediately when I reviewed my credit card statement I believe I should not be charged for a service I did not ask for and have never used

The unexplained mystery charges that appeared on my account was beyond a simple up sale technique Too much work to keep pace with the charges and add onsThe actual cost of doing business was beyond the introductory offers Customer service merely states that an email was sent, despite spam or countless up selling emails that any reasonable person ignoresSo I decided this service was not for meI tried to resolve the issue 2x and was not satisfiedI will pass on Go Daddy in the future - too aggressive technique for meI like old fashion services and fair play Customer Service was not helpfulI cancelled all my accounts Go Away Daddy

I purchased a domain name called "ufe.me" by errorI sent and email and called GoDaddy right after, and I was told that I was going to get a full refund within the next business daysCouple of days later I get an email from GoDaddy telling me that they will not get me a refund at all based on their policyThe rep Amanda which I talk to over the phone, verified and confirmed that I was going to get a full refundEver since I got the email from them I have had a battle back and forth with themI cannot believe that this company tells lies to customers about refunds I have emails from them, let me know if you need me to forward them to you

On April 23, GoDaddy took payment of $to build a websitePrior to paying, we asked Ana Rajao with GoDaddy to confirm they would be able to move our current blog to the new site and if they would be able to build a shop like they did on our former site they built months priorShe placed us on hold came back and stated she could We spoke with Shayla, the web builder, and she said they couldn't custom code the shop, but when we explained we just wanted it like our other shop, she said they could She also confirmed they would move our blogs I provided the blogs in formats as they requested months later, they refused to complete the work stating we were asking them to 'custom code' and 'work out of scope' This is untrue and supported by numerous emails and recorded conversations that our company has A representative named [redacted] from headquarters set up a call and was extremely rude and admitted GoDaddy was breaching contract and would not fulfill the terms of

We purchase a VPS instance This allows us to remote into a desktop This instance broke and we were unable to remote into a desktop We called to Godaddy and was told "YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN" This is abreak on their side and we took the video NO help even after showing the video [redacted]
