I have web site hosting through this garbage company called Godaddy.com They collect money for and give the appearance of managing a third party app called Word Press Called to complain that I could not access the Word Press functions so I could update my website Not only could they NOT fix the problem, but by time the call was over they had completely destroyed my website complete will all functionality on it Now my business is left with no web representation and them saying "you can hire our PREMIUM service" to fix the problem Their CUSTOMER SUPPORT worsened the problem fold and now they want me to pay them to fix it

I moved a few domains to a new account, and it didn't disclose in the help article that private registration would not transfer over
I called customer support and both the rep and supervisor were extremely rude and condescendingThey told me that there was a disclaimer about private registration, despite me having the help article open and searching for the word 'privacy' and 'private' with no results
I asked them to either refund the private registration fee or provide private registration in the new account for freeIf they refused I'd just do a chargebackI was told that if I did a chargeback for the cost of the private registration, GoDaddy would retaliate by revoking my ownership of the domains
Will be moving to a new registrar when this is up for renewalYour reps need training

Due to their system and platform failure, as well being unable to get any assistance online or by phone (PLaced on hold for over two hours), a domain name renewal had to be done twice; since the first transaction did not show up as completed, there was no e-mail confirmation, and the domain name still showed with the same expiration date, as not renewedIn order for me to avoid any additional charges for renewing after the expiration date, or running the risk of loosing the domain name - *** , I had to do the same transaction, again; which ended up in renewing the domain name twice, for two years, and not just for one year; same as I renew every single domain name, year by yearI explained them the situation, why it ended up in being renewid twice, and for which I requested the refund for one year; and thhey declined to do the refundAs I said, this was in result of their system and platform failure, for me being unable to reach an agent or get any assistance and way

So I Paid To Have A E Commerce Site Built ,I Gave Them My Vision Of What I Wanted The Site To Look Like I Even Took It One Step Further By Drawing It Out On Paper With Exact Measurement Such As Pixel Ect They Did Not Deliver What I Wanted The Couldn't Even Make It Look A Little Bit Close To What I Wanted It To Look Like So I contacted Customer Service And They Said After days No Returns Even Though They Where Not Able To Deliver From Their End .The Site Looks Unprofessional For A E Commerce Store Now This Would Not Be A Problem If They Wouldn't Advertise Saying That They Customize Sites 100% When Really They Just Use A Template Like All Of The Other Companies They Should Not Build Websites For E Commerce Companies They Should Only Build Sites For Bloggers

worst customer service everThe billing department is full of inept reps who each don't know what the protocol is very rude supervisorsi have been a loyal client for years NEVER once missed a payment and they make a mistake and I have to pay for itdo not want to own up to their mistakes Even the Head supervisor of small businesses, TY H***, blocked my email when I said I was going to email him my complaintThree email receipts came back as rejected.Ii emailed from another account they don't have and it went throughThey still did not help the situation Basically when they started small they were very nice and caring and attentive to customersMade you feel welcomed and appreciated, now that they have grown, they literally do not care if you are with them a month or years, all they look at you as is as a dollar sign and if its not coming in they don't careUse to be good when they were small, now that they have grown, they are HORRIBLEhowever the products are good, but I would rather use a company who has good products and also good Representatives , especially management

I signed up for a simple domain name for my part time business I really didn't need a website but I thought having online presence would make me look more professional
Since I work full time, I don't even have much time to devote to my side hustle Still I paid for webhosting from GoDaddy I set up a free website from another company and forwarded the domain
I only had my domain for 1year During the year, I really didn't use the website and didn't need the domain I got free websites thru my professional associations and that was good enough for what I needed I even started using the other websites before my year was over
When the year was up I decided I would not renew
Go Daddy charged my credit card It sat for a few days in pending charges so I was able to cancel it Here's the thing
During the previous year, I lost my credit card and had to get a new one I never gave Go Daddy my new credit card number So how did they get it or how were they able to charge my new card?
I can only think that they have some spy program on my computer and got it thru my online purchases I don't know how they got it I never gave it to them This has never happen to me before but I am getting a new computer asap

I will give them stars, customers services dose'nt know what they are doing, if you need anything fixed or restored, you have to pay $and it takes up to week, beyond horrible company, lost alot of business because of themnever will use them again

I'm so tiered of wasting time with GoDaddy that I don't even want to put this complaint together, but feel it is necessary to warn others to do their do diligence before doing business with said companyI've been with GoDaddy now since 2006, which is when I first purchased my original domainYear after year they continue to increase their rates just to keep me as a loyal customerI'm in the process of moving sits and domains to an alternate providerI'm disgusted with their bait and switch type business tactics They don't even care enough about their loyal customers to spend a few minutes and give a tailored response to complaints or issuesInstead they copy and paste canned responses like the one below

We signed up for a web address of andersonscree.com and there was a web builder that we purchased with it so we could build our website The web builder was coming up to renew and we told go daddy customer service that we were going to get our own software to build the site I asked them how much it would be for just the domain name they said $for two years I then asked them, so once we pay for the domain name and we use our own software to build the website, there are no hidden fees for anything correctnot even launching the website? the response I got was, None as you're using your own softwareWe only hosted the domain and not the website Then I called in and was told there is a charge to launch the website if we use our own web building software My bank account was charge $for the web builder to renew after I told them I didn't want it I called in to have it refunded and was told that My website would be removed from the internet I then asked to make sure
