I can't get any support from this companyI have WordPress accountsOne of them expired, and the other has a year left on itI decided I'm not going to run the other website anymore, so I deleted itNow I want to move the website on my expired plan to the plan that has a year left on itThey tell me it's impossible to do Then they keep giving me links to out dated documentation that doesn't helpSome hasn't been updated in a few yearsThe guy on chat support told me he can't help me, and told me to contact phone supportI contacted phone support on 1/9/at 11:PM and was on hold for an HOUR and I finally hung upRidiculous I contacted two other hosting companies, HostGator, and JodoHost, they BOTH told me that if I signed up with them, they would provide FREE migration of my websiteThey would move it from GoDaddy's servers to their serversSo if they can move my site between companies, WHY can't GoDaddy move it within it's own company? They support person

I had contacted the business on several occasionsMy domain expired and I was unable to renew it by myselfI ended up talking to an individual who stated he would use the card on file to pay for the domainI thought it was squared away and now a domain I've owned since is goneMy business domain is gone :( it was [redacted]

In 2012, I reserved a domain name with GoDaddy related to a business I was openingAt the time, I selected auto renewalThe business closed in early On 8/4/2017, I received email notice from GoDaddy of the auto renewalI immediately tried to reply to decline authorization, but the email was a DoNotReplyI tried to log into my account to cancel, but I did not have either my username or passwordI called [redacted] to dispute the charge, explaining the unsuccessful actions I had taken to try to reach to GoDaddy [redacted] couldn't initiate a dispute for a pending charge, but I initiated a dispute the same day the charge postedOn 8/11/2017, I received notice from [redacted] that GoDaddy verified the chargeI called GoDaddy to inquire about cancellation of the charge since I did not need or want the domain name. The GoDaddy rep verified my identity by seeking last digits of credit card number to which the charge was made However, GoDaddy refused to remove charge, telling me that I had mis

GoDaddy has held my credit card hostageAuto renewal has been set up, and they don't let me cancel it, with the message "Well, that's a bummerThis product cannot be canceled at this timePlease contact our customer service team for more information." However, their renewal email clearly said: "If you wish to cancel automatic renewal of your product(s), you can turn off this feature in your GoDaddy account." I also cannot remove my credit card from their system, with the message "This payment method is associated to one of your products for auto paymentPlease add replacement." I contacted customer service on March 19, 2017, and they said they can't delete my credit card without first going through a hours manual reviewThat does not make any senseIt must be my choice to keep my credit card there, not theirs

Today, 01-20-at 12:PM every product I have with Godaddy stopped working due to an expired SSL certificate for their cpanel [redacted]   I have spent over hours on the line being transferred from department to department being told that it would be an additional $for me to use a service is that is paid through 11-Godaddy has violated their 99.9% service uptime guarantee and when I ask to speak to a manager I get my call put back into the endless call queue just to speak to another rep

Go Daddy hosts my website [redacted] On August 15, I called asking for assistance since the site is in [redacted] formatI have the calls recorded and the printouts of the chatsI was first told they could do all handling of the service under Deluxe Managed [redacted] $299.40, I purchased itLater that day when they could not successfully get the site moved over, they then told me I needed Ultimate Managed [redacted] $I purchased itAfter that they still could not get the site up and runningI tried to resolve it many timesEventually I changed to a new company called American CreativeThey offer the services and have finally gotten the site up and runningI called to cancel my service and was shocked to find out I do not get a refund because they have a hidden days ruleThis rule doesn't appear to be published anywhere, nor was it told to me when I was making my purchase, yet they produced in seconds when they were enforcing itMy issue i

I purchased a domain from GoDaddy.com Along with the domain name, I purchased a Web Hosting Plan The original plan I purchased didn't have the capabilities I needed for the type of business I am operating (it is an Affiliate sales site that specializes in Flowers), so I spoke with the GoDaddy sales team and they encouraged me to upgrade to a Premium Business Plan This plan includes access to a Mobile App that produces the site in a way that is frendly to Mobile users Sometime during the first week of January I began to experience issues with the siteI would find hidden images embedded in my site that I didn't put in I tried deleting them, but they seemed to never end, so I contacted GoDaddy to find out what was happenngor if I was doing something to cause these issues First I was told they had done a software upgrade and were having issues, but the problems would be resolved soon They explained that the images would go away, but that there were so many, they had

This is a classic "bait and switch" offerI have attached a screenshot of the offerIt is complete and only my account information has been removed (black bars)Godaddy sent me an email offering, "20% off your domain renewals*" The offer said, "Use promo code [redacted] " And, "This special offer is good for .com, .net, .org, .co, .info, .biz domains only." According to the email, the offer expires May 18, 2018." (Note: The expiration is more than a week from the date of this narrative I went to renew my ".net" domain online at their website but, when I entered the promo code at checkout, it was refused with this message, "This promotional code does not apply to renewals AND requires a $minimum orderAdd $in new products to save 20%." Since the email offer clearly stated it was for renewals I re-entered the promo code but it was rejected with the same messageI called their support numberI spoke with MichaelHe told me the promo code was not good for renewals I p

I have used GoDaddy.com and have been a proud and loyal customer for many years while having spent thousands of dollars with themI am very frustrated by the lack of care and professionalism displayed by this company in this past week costing me time, money and energyAs I'm on a fixed income and on full disability as per the order of the Social Security JudgeI'm dealing with a severe medical condition needing undivided and pressing attention by my doctorsAlong the way, since the beginning of 2018, I have always paid and renewed on time my domain name with GoDaddy for my website, paid for search engine visibility, website privacy and even more products I just purchased with them this past weekendI truly have loved my relationship with GoDaddy and have felt as they have had my back in the past as my website hosting (and other products I have with them) company Now the bad newsAs I'm dealing with my disability/medical issues the past several months, evidently my credit

I had called on Oct1, requesting to cancel my accountThe customer representative refused to do so, instead forced me to include 2-step verification on my account I called in again, on 10/13/spoke to MrJ [redacted] and MrB***, who once again, refused to cancel and refund my account I need the account cancelled and the full amount refunded to my card on file This is atrocious policy as I had called specifically on Oct1, to cancel my account

I wanted to speak with a supervisor because your representative couldn't help me and he said no because he didn't know if I had an account with go daddy or notI asked him times to transfer me and he was a complete [redacted] , rude, and disrespectfulHis name is Joao and he was unprofessional and really didn't know know what he was talking aboutI am livid and pissed the [redacted] off because anytime a customer wants to speak with a supervisor they should be able to no matter what

1) On 12/29/I received a phone call from GoDaddy telling me that, due to their server limitation problems, they needed to “migrate” one of my domains to a different server and I needed to pay $for that migration (to solve their problem??) 2) During the conversation, the GoDaddy representative indicated that the domain name registration expires 5/7/and we can take care of the whole thing, migration, hosting, and domain name, at this time This was going to cost well over $1000! We talked about several options and settled on a year plan that totally takes care of everything required for this domain for years The price was $ 3) On 2/6/I received an email from GoDaddy indicating that the domain name registration for this domain would expire on 5/7/and therefore needed to be renewed I “chatted” with a GoDaddy representative and told him that I just paid for that on 12/29/ He insisted that I could look up the order and the domain name registrat

Website builder for [redacted] has a "contact us" form that is NOT functioningRather than looking into the problem or escalating it to the proper people who can resolve this, (as there is NO WAY 1st tier can do anything) I get a "try using another email" blah blah blahThat is NOT the way to resolve thisThis exact problem arose when they changed servers on me The girl I spoke too was clueless on how to resolve anythingVery sadThis must have been the 20th time I have called and had no assistance whatsoever I have cancelled most of my domains/host and am planning to run as soon as the acapulco domain expires I do NOT expect this to be resolved and I will continue to badger your what you consider support until someone does their job! I think your business model is pathetic and borderline illegal

I received a charge for service I did not want to continue I have had numerous good experience and websites with this coover the years I called to cancel this charge, on hold for minutes, they said Hi to me I said how are you, good, and then they hung up on me I tried to do a live chat, which you have to stay on hold for almost minutes They said I can only cancel within days, and ti was business days so I couldn'tI was not aware of a day return policy or that I was even signed up for a automatic renewal on the account I want to cancel this transactionReceipt #: [redacted] Customer #: [redacted] $ Thank you for anything you can do to help I have copied of the chat transcript if needed Regards, Shawn Porter

Godaddy claims they have a website builder that is easy to use for freeOnce you give them your information they say its only free for the first daysI proceeded since the website also claims it can post photos for artistsWhen I try to add a photo - it cuts most of it offDue to work obligations I waited but proceeded three months later to build the website and get helpGodaddy says that I have to edit each photo to size before uploading it but could not tell me the size only the pixelUpon changing the pixel outside of the software it made the picture quality and or size all wrongUpon asking for assistance - they were unable to help In other words they advertised a simple software that cannot be used for artists even though their website advertises to artists

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE I had secured services in They have, without authorization, utilized my credit card information to AGAIN charge my account, without authorization Have refused to reverse charges I am pursuing this with my credit card company simultaneously GoDaddy did illegally charge a credit card in my possession (not sure how they acquired the new expiration date) in the amount of $ Their representative (today), Aisha REFUSED to refund the monies I am asking for said refund immediately Thank you for your assistance

I have worked as a tax preparer for years and have had a godaddy virtual server for almost yearsIn the past months I have made several calls and attempts to gain access to this server and godaddy support escalated the issue which was no fault of my own to their senior support techniciansAfter several days I was informed my only option was to re-provision the servertheir fancy way of saying buy a new onethis first off is completely unaceptable as I paid to have the server available 99% of the time in their SLA here [redacted] I am more than concerned that they are running a scam best effort service and not a 99% uptime reliable service as advertisedI have now lost over years of tax returns that I have provided my clients a guarantee that I would hold for yearsI have been with godaddy for several years and this just completely ruined my support and confidence in their productsTechnical

I wasn't able to log in for several months due to their strict new password guidelinesWhen I called to ask for help, I was given instructions that didn't workThey give the option to log in with facebook, but that option doesn't actually log you inIt takes you to another page that makes you create a new accountMeanwhile I have a person from godaddy on the line getting frustrated with me while I'm getting frustrated right backThey talked down to me as if I was doing something stupid or not understanding them, but its their website that isn't functioning properly I finally get logged in and try to edit my pageMy website has been advertising outdated information for several monthsOur hours have changed and the prices have gone up, but I have to honor the prices advertised on my website and loose business at the same time because people think we're closed I made several attempts to edit the information, but godaddy will not publish my editsMy account is due to be renew

I have owned a domain for many years which I purchased through go daddy Due to personal issues, I was not able to pay the menial renewal fee this year when the time came Trying to re-purchase it today, the domain was unavailable I was on live chat with a gentleman from go daddy for close to an hour, as he acted as though he had no idea why my domain, [redacted] would have been purchased by a guy named [redacted] who lives in Anchorage, AlaskaAfter I told him it had to be scam, I was told that I could PURCHASE the domain once again -- this time for $plus 20% brokerage fee My name and my brand was now being sold to me at a higher price This is most certainly not the way it should be.k I am not sure if there is something I can do about this, but am hoping to find out It does not seem ethical

I was trying to consolidate two accounts into oneThe current setup didn't allow for the renewal of my websiteI was constantly given the run around about eliminating two step verification for the changesIt was well documented that I had access to these accounts and yet tech support was useless The domain expired and I lost the websiteI paid for the accounts to become current, including an $"to push a button key"Then I find out that they deleted my web pagesI pursued a chat to correct this issueI was informed that "it's gone, can't get it back"After complaining about all the $ I've spent on this, like magic, they inform me that it can be retrieve for $"to push a button"They're costing me $ in lost business Then I find out my email isn't receiving emailsEvery time I try solving this problem, I'm on hold 20-minthen speak with a CS repGo through the problemThey inform me there is nothing wrong, so I need to speak with tech supportSince I run a biz, time to sit on the phone is a problem and sitting on hold for another 20-minwon't work It's Sunday and the wait is minto do the same thing all over againI'm not optimisticI would highly recommend that business owners stay away from GoDaddy
