I have three Deluxe Web Hosting Linux plans with Godaddy and had these for a long time, around years
Godaddy takes pre-approved payments for these plans directly from Paypal every month through a Paypal agreementThe base price was set at USD $8.99/mo
I use many services of Godaddy and receive an overload of notifications from them, which is nice to have
The prices never really increased
By paying attention to emails I had received, it came to my attention that Godaddy was slowly and quietly gauging the prices for these services by almost 100%, without any notification in advance
Even in the emails where I get billed, there is a tiny little sentence that states : "We're changing the prices for some of our web hosting plansClick here to see if this impacts you."
However, nothing in the headline, or in the upper body of the email suggests there is any kind of price increase
This means Godaddy quietly increases the prices by almost 100% (the fee is USD $13:99/

I canceled my service with GoDaddy in July and on August GoDaddy tried to bill my credit cardFortunately, that credit had already been canceled
What I will to alert the Revdex.com is that there have been numerous complaints against GoDaddy for its habit of attempting to charge the credit cards of consumers AFTER they have canceled their service
When I called GoDaddy to complain, they informed me that they tried to charge my credit card because "I must have not canceled my account correctly."
What is there about "CANCEL MY ACCOUNT" is so unclear ?

My husband *** *** purchased Go Daddy bundle several years agoUnbeknownst to me, the annual renewal is $Today, I found out that on October 30th Go Daddy debited my checking account for $200.88, a charge that I did not authorize
I contacted the company and they informed me that the funds were for an annual renewalMy husband was not aware that this renewal would be chargedSomehow he was on auto renewal
I requested cancellation of the service, however I was informed that even though the service was not being used the day refund period had passed since the purchase, so no refund could be given

On November 27, 2017, I received an email from GoDaddy Hosting, that my hosting account had been migrated without any prior notice of the migrationThe notice was sent as a congratulatory email, but this turned out to be deceptive as I later learned that the server hosting my website crashed and Godaddy had to move my site due to this crash

On October 16th, 2016, our office manager, *** ***, was fired due to fraudOur GoDaddy account was managed by her, and since she was administrator on our account, we have been unable to access the account sinceI have made multiple phone calls, and have on multiple occasions submitted the owner’s photo ID, our business license, and utility bills to prove the business is oursI am repeatedly stonewalled, and keep receiving the same automated response telling me that the only way to get into the account is through her personal email (which we very clearly don’t have access to), and have no idea how it is paid I was told it’s through a PayPal account, but the owner has no knowledge of the existence of that accountThough I understand that GoDaddy has stringent rules in place to protect the security of domains, this cannot be the first time this situation has occurredThe irony is that GoDaddy, in its attempt to protect clients, has put our business at risk

I noticed today a charge from Go Daddy on my credit card statementAfter some research I figured out it was for a domain name that I haven't used in years that should of been taken off auto renewal at the same time my former woodlandinsperations.net account was deactivatedI call your customer service line for assistance on the matter and they were no helpBasic were sorry can't help you and confirmed it is no longer on auto renewal

My domains auto-renewed and I was provided with an email outlining the renewal would be occurring on August 9th, The renewal email noticed showed that was $19.99/yr for each one ($x2) I was okay with this price for each
However, when the renewal was processed on August 15, they also charged me $for each domain for the Private Domain Registration ($x 2) Private Domain Registration was always offered to me for free in the past and was not listed on my email renewal notice
I called GoDaddy on Monday, August 20th, (the first business day after I realized these extra charges) to have the $x(for each domain) reversed and they said they would not That said they could cancel the service if I wanted to get the money back However, I don't want to remove the privacy feature as it's important to me

GoDaddy automatically renewed email services for a year term (~$400), but their policy changed and no longer allows refunds on partial usage(I was never informed of the policy change, and the automatic purchase never informed me that this was an non-refundable charge) The email service that renewed became unreliable and I was unable to access my email after months of usageBecause email services are critical to my work, I was forced to sign up for an alternative service and migrate my emailWhen I spoke with them on the phone they refused to issue any kind of refund, despite the service not working

I have a server which crashed I lost all my info from it
for now I have no server but go daddy wont refund me the rest of the server because I can erase all info from it and start it again
I believe they should take responsibility for our company that we lost all server info after the server crashed because of there faulty hardware and at least refund me

I purchased a hosting plan on Dec29, 2017, order # *** with email free for yearbut today I asked for help to setup email account, I was told that there is NO email plan for this order, so I called the support, and she is treated people as aliens, and say I dropped the email plan after order! what a ironic responseand offered to pay for new email plan as the order was bought as is nowi told her I have proof what we ordered that day, and I do not need anything else but original order, not the order now that you changed after we purchased! it is terrible practice like this, you changed the order and take the product from your package and now ask for more money, which I totally reject she and ask her to connect to her manager, and she refusedso here I am to ask for justice and tell the story to othersBe careful with the company like this, and keep your recordso she can't lie and hold her reponsonsibility!
