I had called in March of to cancel auto-renew on (2) domains purchased through Go-Daddy since I was not using them I was assured by the representative that the task was complete A few weeks ago, I was expecting a transaction via Paypal for something else and saw two charges from Go-Daddy I immediately called Go-Daddy and went online to verify my account To my surprise, the domain auto-renewal was never cancelled I explained the situation to the rep over the phone and told him I immediately cancelled online and am calling to speak to someone in person and reverse these un-authorized charges This Rep told me, unfortunately nothing can be done and it was my responsibility to cancel the auto-renew I explained to him that this was the reason, I contacted them back in I also asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and I emailed them as well with no response in return I trusted Go-Daddy and representives to do the right thing and cancel the auto-renew feature in
Purchased a domain name yrs ago with Go DaddyI was hoping my business would grow faster than it did I NEVER went further than securing a domain name, no webpage ever started I was getting numerous emails saying I needed to update payment info in my account and getting constant offers to renew at a discountI had already decided I was not going to renew since I was just not needed at this timeOn 9/5/I received an email and charge to my bank account...it seems Go Daddy puts on you on an auto-renewal program without first asking if you want that! I think this practice should be illegal No one should access to your cc or bank accounts without permission I never visited my account because I never did anything beyond securing a domain name for those yrs On the day I was charged however I logged in and I saw options is large letters about my infoOne said CANCEL RENEWAL...so I hit thatThen I checked back later that day and over the course of a few days checkedIt

We have been a customer of GoDaddy for years (including our other businesses) Our company has decided to move our email hosting to another company because we wanted more integrated features We have paid for our renewal with GoDaddy until on November I was advised that we can cancel our account with them but they will not credit us back the money we paid through I think that this policy is OUTGRAGEOUS, INCREDULOUS! They are holding on to our money for services that they are not rendering I was advised that we can cancel anytime but was not advised that if we do not cancel our renewal with them within days, we will not get any credit back Unfortunately for me, I cancelled our email with them more than days It is only 2017, so I will be paying for a service that I have paid for through If you are thinking about going with GoDaddy, DON'T Consider going to GSuite c/o Google

I was told that my server was reaching "end of life" even though I had just migrated onto it about years earlier, which I found to be inappropriate since it meant they put me onto an old server at the beginningWhen I told them it was nuts to make me migrate again, I then received an offer from GoDaddy's customer service telling me that they would refund a chunk of what I had been paying month-to-month and apply it towards a new server that was only going to run a fraction of what I had been paying (Just under $for years) which would actually leave me with a small refund that I could apply to other services that they offered (I've been with GoDaddy since the very early part of 2000, so I thought they were taking that into account I accepted the offer, and the customer service person set up a time to talk on the phone, saying that he had to read me a disclaimer Then, he didn't call at the appointed timeWhen I followed up, I was told that the offer wouldn't be honored b
How does a business with negative reviews have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com I've been with GoDaddy for several years and have several websites with them that are all on auto-renewI've had my share of issues with them over the years as expected but it seems to be getting worse When the "Supervisor" sounds like someone off the street corner and has no couth it's a huge problem for me A "Supervisor" is suppose to be more advance that regular staffSo the customer service isn't customer service at the point when you have to ask the "Supervisor" to repeat themselves multiple times because you cannot understand one work they are saying
The problem evolved from me discovering that one of the several domains that I have with GoDaddy was cancelled because the auto-renew didn't go through like it did for all of the other domainsSo I contacted them to get an understanding of what was going onThe minute estimated hold ended up being close to minutes before an agent came took

On 10/24/we purchased for $renewal of hosting service with GoDaddy.com for a neighborhood association with a simple WordPress websiteWe were advised by GoDaddy rep to switch to a more WordPress efficient serviceIn response to my concern that this would create more work, we were advised that the migration process is easy and we'd be walked through itI was instructed on how to update the account administrators but was not instructed to update the contact information on the domain nameWhile still on the phone call we followed instructions on migrating the siteThe process takes a few hours so we hung up
