TERRIBLE customer service!! don't be lured in by cheap starting prices, they'll put you on auto renew, jack up the price, and if you don't contact them within days they refuse to process a refundI spent an hour on chat with customer service and then customer service supervisor, then they said, well maybe billing can help - i've been on here for an hour, why didn't you say that previously?!? I did not talk with billing, I have filed complaint with my credit card company - stay away, far far away!
Go Daddy has a menu website called *** They have a menu with prices that are years old We have customers that call us agitated by the price disparities We tell our customers that we do not own the website
We have called *** twice to request removal
They have told us that we must purchase a membership on their "Get Found" program for removal They are aware of their menu and are demanding money for removal
Go Daddy aggressively contacts me every month stating they are providing a customer service call, however they call me to pitch me on a new sale Most recently they called me to sell me on purchasing a second hosting plan and stated that the lower cost existing plan I had did not allow me have more than one website so I should purchase a deluxe hosting plan and have two plans, they also told me do not worry about my existing website "***" which is my primary business site being eliminated from the existing basic hosting, that they would help me to move the site over to the new more expensive deluxe hosting plan After I purchased the second more expensive plan in which I was sold, I never heard from Godaddy on its promise to help me move the site over, consequently my site was eliminated and I have called times and keep getting sales people who say they checking with there manager and they will take care of it, fix it, and call me back, that has gone on for

GoDaddy sold me a web hosting plan that included SSH accessI was unable to access SSH, ever -- The support staff at GoDaddy told me that it was due to an erroneous blacklisting of my IP address on their part that disallowed SSH accessWhen asked if there was anything that could be done to fix the issue, the customer service reptold me noWhen cancelling my plan, I asked the billing customer service rep for a refund as I was never delivered the SSH access that my plan includedI am still without a refund and am in the process of moving to Bluehost

I take issue with GoDaddy charging me a $fee every month for what looks like the past months to a year for services that I was not utilizing, I was not aware of the services being active, I was not even aware of the account still being openFrom using their online account manager system I was able to turn off all services that I had purchased, also the domain name for the website in question was no longer owned by meSo the site was not owned by me, the site was not active on the web, everything was turned to inactive BUT GoDaddy continued to charge me $a month for "Website Builder"If there is no active website why would there be an active website builder? GoDdady will explain that "Website Builder" is not actually a website builder but the WebHosting for the domainThat is misleading and it is not explained So regardless of what is really what I am paying for the Hosting of a website that is not active? What hosting? And I don't even own the domain, but I'm paying f
I have a hosting plan with godaddy.com for a few years nowI have hosted all my websites which are data driven which involve databases tooI am on yearly auto pay for this hosting serviceThis febraury, my credit card expired and godaddy deleted everything from my accountI mean, who does that? Customers should atleast get day to come back, right?
And if they delete everything, there must be a way to find the data on their backup harddisks but NOThey say they dont keep backup data for windows based hostingThey keep backup only for unix based hostingWhat?
What am I supposed to do now? All my work, programs, websites are all gone just like thatThis is not a good business practice at all
GoDaddy charged me for a recurring expense for a domain name But, I do not use it anymore so I called them to cancel and asked for a full refund the $they charged me They REFUSED to refund me as the auto-renewal for their service is "days" for multiple year, but is "days" for one-year renewal (see below from their website)
Why is a refund for an auto-renewal for multiple year vsone-year renewal be different (days vsdays)? This policy is very discriminatory in that it's a difference of days depending on what type of account you have? Their practices are not good business practices and they should be asked to update their policies
I was out of the country and so the days would not have given me enough time to get this resolved as I did not have access to contact Go Daddy during my time out of the country

There are issues with the GoDaddy email service that cause emails that use our GoDaddy hosted domain name to be rejected before ever reaching our inboxUnfortunately I only know about a few of those emails that have been rejected only because some senders have informed me about itUpon further investigation and talking to GoDaddy, we have found their email filters are much too strong and bounce important emails from our accountsGoDaddy has told us they will not alter their filters to allow emails from reputable sources such as LinkedIn to get to us (even though we have specifically requested certain LinkedIn groups to include us on their emailsUnfortunately this is unacceptable for a business that relies on email to communicate with its customers and employees Although we asked GoDaddy to refund our unused amount of the subscription, they have refused this request
Febcharge received on bank account for domains that were reserved and never registered...called the company and requested all be cancelled and a refund was issued
Novcharge received on bank account for account that was supposed to be closedIt is an account that I receive a statement for and the deduction date was 11/8/I called 12/8/to request a refund they refused because it was one day outside of their refund policyThe rep from the Febcall dropped the ball and I got left with $deducted from my bank account
They maintain that since I didn't read the email about the account status (warning you will receive hundreds of junk emails from them) that I am fully responsibleI accept my responsibility in not requesting to be removed from the email list that included the high volume of junk mail
They are absolutely a dishonest and untrustworthy company that I will never do business with again and highly recommend that everyone else stay away from as wellIf you decide to do business with them be aware that they bleed your bank account dry and if you are "minutes or days past midnight of the renewal date calling to cancel you will not get a refund"
