I purchased bookkeeping from ***, before GoDaddy took it overwith the understanding when I had the original service I could cancel anytime and receive a prorated refundIt does not support my new bank and is therefore useless to meAfter cancelling yesterday, I requested a prorated refund and was told I "should have thought of that before canceling." NOWHERE during the cancellation process was so much as a hint I might be refused a refund for the months of unused time, nor can I find such a policy mentioned on the pages where one actually purchases the serviceI now have no access to the (useless to me) service, my data was deleted during the cancellation according to the website, and I have no refund to bootI want a refund for the remaining time
The company lured me in with an offer for a cent domain name, it found the domain was available, and offered to sell it to me for centsin the shopping cart the price was now I contacted support, who told me to check the promo code in the URL, and use it to get the offerThe promo code in the URL and the one what was applied in the shopping cart were identical (***)in the shopping cart, the code is only for 20% off of I believe this is bait and switchThe customer service agent kept informing me that there was nothing else he could do
GoDaddy charged me for a recurring expense for a domain name But, I do not use it anymore so I called them to cancel and asked for a full refund the $they charged me They REFUSED to refund me as the auto-renewal for their service is "days" for multiple year, but is "days" for one-year renewal (see below from their website)
Why is a refund for an auto-renewal for multiple year vsone-year renewal be different (days vsdays)? This policy is very discriminatory in that it's a difference of days depending on what type of account you have? Their practices are not good business practices and they should be asked to update their policies
I was out of the country and so the days would not have given me enough time to get this resolved as I did not have access to contact Go Daddy during my time out of the country
