For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My loan has not closed yet, and the fact that the company implied that I had submitted fraudulent documents has not even been brought up and most importantly an apology has not been given Yes, infact there was a lot of miscommunication however; they seemed to first suspect fraud instead of giving the customer the chance to explain The company and I are still working on a resolution and I will not be satisfied until the two previously items mentioned above have been completed

With regard to the complaint ID # ***, Standard
Pacific’s response is as follows.Since Mr*** *** filed his complaint, several things
have happenedStandard Pacific made repairs to the irrigation
system and the backflowStandard Pacific will continue to work with
Mr
*** to resolve his drainage concerns and then correct zone afterwards

Someone from *** has either intentionally provided inaccurate information or has been misinformedShortly after moving into my home I noticed discoloration in the tile and contacted *** with my complaint*** has provided several different stories regarding the problem with the color tileAgain when picking out the tile I was not informed there would be several different colors of tile through out my homeThis issue will not be resolved between *** and myself unless they are able to correct the problem with the discoloration in the floor tiles. As far as the placement of the electrical outlets being industry standards*** was provided pictures of neighbors who purchased the same floor plan and houses around the same time I didThose neighbors have full access to the entire bathroom outlets (top and bottom plug)***'s website shows pictures of my same floor plan and the outlets in the bathrooms are in a different location making the plugs entirely assessable (top and bottom plug)*** homes models have the bathroom outlets in a different location on the wall making those plugs assessable (top and bottom plug)It is not an industry standard to put electrical outlets in bathrooms that can't be entirely used such as the top plug in all my bathroomsThis issue will not be resolved between *** and myself unless *** fixes the plugs so that both outlets can be usedThis feature was put in my home incorrectly and I should not have to pay for something to be moved because of poor workmanship.

Although, per previous email from the business, they stated that they have contacted me several times without any response from my partThis is not true, I was the one trying to contact the business without any responseThey never replied to my question asking who's contacted me and when? This should be kept in mind for future complaints regarding this business that they try to blame the customer.

We will accept your offer to rework the seam of the upstairs carpet, but there was no mention of replacing carpet on the stairs that was cut short initially, and/or damaged in the attempts to resolve previous issues with the stair frameworkWe would like to have a better explanation of how you will resolve the poor paintwork on the back door. The expectation that was set at the time we met was that the door will be replaced and painted correctly, and also the frame would be repaired where the latchplate was installed improperlyWe would like a clearly stated resolution to the issue with the concrete on the drive way and walk ways.Also, repair work has yet to be done, and when it is, it must be done to the highest of quality before we will consider these issues resolved. Previous attempts to resolve these same issues have failed miserably, and we will not accept the poor quality that was done prior to lodging this complaint

[The last GE technician that was at our home on 9/(*** ***) agreed something was wrong with the washer but was unable to fix it. We know several people that have front loading machines on the main level of their home and they do not make noise and vibrate like ours does. If this is a known problem, CalAtlantic should have disclosed that to us and the GE tech wouldn't have said he didn't know what was wrong with it. When the top loading set was offered as a replacement, it was never said that it was because front loading machines tend to be noisy when installed on the main level. The only reason we were going to sell the top loading set was because we MUST have front loading machines on pedestals and that was not being offered. CalAtlantic and/or GE needs to step up and either buy back the machines we have now or provide replacement front loading machines that work correctly without squeaking, rattling, shaking and vibrating across the floor.]
