Please be advised that Chapter 370 of the Texas Transportation Code mandates that we must mail the first toll notice to the registered owner at the address on file with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). To ensure that you receive your initial toll invoices, please contact the DMV at [redacted] or visit their website at www.txdmv.gov and follow the instructions for updating your address.MSB records indicate that on December 3, 2016 you were contacted via email and advised that the violations fees on your accounts had been waived. claims that the consumer feels bullied when MSB agents advise her of the consequences for not making a payment every 30 days. The requirements of our Client’s Driver’s License Reinstatement Program (“LRP”) must be honored in order to prevent a suspension of the consumer’s driver’s license. Our Client depends on MSB agents to educate consumers of the requirements of the LRP and the consequences of payment defaults. These advisories are not intended to bully or intimidate the consumer. They are intended to prevent the consumer from facing further hardships resulting from our Client suspending their driver’s license due to a default on the agreed upon payment arrangement. The complaint also indicates that you have experienced some difficulty when attempting to discuss this matter on behalf of the consumer. Please be advised that in order to protect consumer privacy, our representatives are required to authenticate the identity of the consumer with whom they are speaking prior to providing details. The complaint also indicates that MSB doesn’t send bills or receipts. While MSB does not send out partial balance collection notices or payment receipts, our procedure is to send these notices upon consumer request. MSB records indicate that upon making payment of $50.00 on December 5, 2015, a payment receipt was requested. On December 7, 2015, a payment receipt notice was mailed to the consumer address on your account. As of today’s date, the total unpaid balance for the three consumer accounts is $2,214.25. The original balance owed was $3,114.25. MSB has processed 12 payments for a total of $900.00. Responsibility Surcharge Program. Gila LLC d/b/a MSB is in receipt of your inquiry regarding the above referenced account. Responsibility Surcharge ProgramIn your complaint, you indicated that you would like assistance with your application for the Indigence/Incentive programs. MSB records indicate that you were contacted by a member of management on November 29, 2016. During this interaction, the MSB supervisor explained what is required to apply for the Indigence/Incentive programs we offer.In your complaint, you also indicated that you wanted an explanation of the process to change your monthly payment dates. During the aforementioned interaction on November 29th, you were informed that changing your monthly payment dates was possible as long as all surcharge accounts are currently in compliance.At the conclusion of the interaction, you were provided with the supervisor’s direct line for future assistance on either of these or any other surcharge related matter.Additionally, in your complaint, you indicated that you have been told on six different occasions that you were not allowed to change your monthly payment dates. MSB records indicate that you have contacted our office on February 22, 2016 and October 4, 2016. During these interactions, your request to change your monthly payment dates was declined due to the fact that your accounts were in default. In your rejection, you explained that the initial notices from MSB were sent to a mailing address
that was never yours. As previously advised, state law requires MSB to mail all toll notices to
the address on file with The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (“DMV”).
You also advised that you have made a payment that included a violation fee and are requesting
the remaining balance owed to be dismissed. As of today’s date, MSB records indicate all
accounts associated with license plate [redacted] are closed.
Currently, DMV records indicate that the mailing address above is associated with license plate
[redacted]; and MSB will send any subsequent toll notices associated with that plate number
to that address. Please be advised that address changes must be communicated to the DMV to
ensure that notices are received in a timely manner.

I am rejecting this response because: It misstates my reason for complaint: I requested the company to provide a copy of the original ticket, which I have never seen or had a chance to pay. Instead they sent me a letter from...

collections office requiring to pay a penalty for nonpayment of a ticket I was not aware of. It contains the license plate of a rental car and was issued on Sunday (free parking day in the area). My numerous requests of providing the original ticket by the parking authorities have not been met.
