Approximately July or August of my wife and I sat down with a College Network recruiter/salesperson looking for a way to continue our education and better ourselvesThe representative promised us a cost effective and convenient way to obtain our bachelor's of science in nursing degrees as we are parents of two children and couldn't afford to be in school full time anymoreThe representative was very convincing and led us to believe we could finance the whole thing without any issues through The College Network themselvesHe promised us degrees through *** *** *** without ever disclosing that after finishing the coursework provided by TCN we would have to apply to *** *** ***We were led to believe the two were directly affiliated which after some inconsistencies in what the representative said and what my research had showed proved to be wrongAlso after about months of calling our monthly payments in to the school I was unable to continue to do th

Many years has passed feeling at loss with this scam program I purchased for almost $10k
I recently saw online that a law suit against TCN has been filled by the attorney general in New YorkI reviewed the court case and court papers, and I everything described is what I experiencedadvertising, and/or misleading information just to name a few Here is a link: ***

Funny Brad the *** is an automated number No one answers it in accounting or anywhere else the only way( to get a hold) of College Network is through an email that no one responds to Been waiting for a check since 04/07/to complete transition role course Been paying 199.20/mth for years...never missed a payment

I signed up in for them to assist me in getting my RN and pay for a test, in which they were to pay back for in weeks when I called and talked to the support person they stated it was there and should have went out
and I needed to email the correct place so I did and no response
So I ask my lawyer to write a letter and they did not get a response

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST!
I was interested in becoming a RN from being a LVN.At my work The College Network came and did their spill about how easy it was to become an RN with their programStrike you can not work as a RN outside of California with their educationStrike they dont accept financial aid ( I later found out its because the federal government wants nothing to do with them) So days into the program I want to drop I call and I am directed to fill out a form and send it inI did that,I assumed I was dropped and never logged back onNOPE! I moved and about years later I am hit with lawsuit for the defaulted loanfor a school I went to for daysI stopped going only because I could tell it was a scam, once I started opening up my course

The College Network advertises that they will reimburse for testing exam fees following completion with a passing grade I have attempted to speak with their accounting department regarding the exam fee checks that they have not paid back to me I have been waiting for over a year for these to be reimbursed I have only been able to speak with someone from a contracted company and they inform me that these payments are "pending"I have made formal written complaints to their corporate HQ and have only received a generic response and no contact informationIt is very concerning that I cannot speak with anyone from The College Network financing department regarding this issue, nor do I believe that they have any intent on paying back these fees

I signed a contract to go from LPN to RN with the college networkI only received two books due to my lack of motivation at the timeI continued to pay the monthly payments and my loan is paid in fullAt one point they gave me two more classes to take that I didn't sign up to takeAltogether these classes equaled up to being $ I have been trying to get a refund for almost two years nowEverytime I call they tell me that it's still processingOne associate told me it would only take up to daysThey even had me send a letter that would be reviewed with a response within weeksThat was months ago with no responseWhat can I do? I have paid this company over 9,for two booksI did my part in paying them in full to save my credit scoreNow I would like them to do their part in paying me back what is owed to me

read your post, My name is Veronica and our stories are so similar, I too signed up, tried to call and cancel a week later , was told it was a three day cancellation deadline I never received a statement but stopped making payments, never used any of their services at all, and five years later I was sued without my knowledge (not properly served ), recieved a letter in May stating a judgement had been won against me , then second letter from attorney about garnishment for 25% of my earnings until 4,is paid, currently fighting this and may possibly have to file bankruptcy as wellI refuse to pay money back that was never used for meNo classes, books, or examsFor, Where, why and who did the pay money to ? “The College Network, Incagrees to provide to all customers in good standing the following support for the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased as long as I have taken at least one of the tests related to the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased every twelve months from the purchase date forward: Free updated versions of the Comprehensive Learning Modules (shipping and handling may apply) for the duration of my testing program with The College Network, Incand assistance in obtaining information and identifying test site locations

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.That response is a canned response that I have seen filed with Attorney General Offices across the nation. It is generic and does not even address the issues at hand: that we are paying our monthly fee and have not received the check requested for his microbilogy exam in weeks. This is unacceptable. We have now obtained an attorney, and our attorney sent a letter to TCN, Southeast Financial Credit Union and also the Attorney General. I have also filed a complaint with the FTC. The only way this issue can be resvolved is if they let us out of our contract and buy back the debt associated with the loan. Fraud, deceptive practices,etc. We have paid for a service, that we are not receiving anything for. Please direct your correspondance to our attorney, *** ***.*** ***

I currently have eight exam fee checks pending payment with the College Network, dating back to July 29, I was advised that the wait time for exam fee checks to be issued was weeksIt has been nearly two yearsThere is no way to contact the college networkI can only get thought to academic support, who is a separate entity from College Network and are unable to process any billing inquiriesI have called the number listed for The college network and am given three options; academic support, billing inquiries and new customerWhen selecting the option for the billing department, it goes straight to a voicemail which advises you to email your concern to "[email protected]"I have emailed over times and have NEVER received a responseThis is absolutely unacceptable

Monies retained by TCN will be treated as an “Educational Credit” which can be utilized by *** *** at any time in the future to complete his non Certificate TCN educational program using TCN materials
