However, as a good corporate citizen TCN is willing to grant *** *** request for cancellation under the following conditions
TCN requests that *** *** execute TCN’s Release and Settlement Agreement
TCN will refund *** *** $1,
Monies retained by TCN will be treated as an “Educational Credit” which can be utilized by *** *** at any time in the future to complete her non Certificate TCN educational program using TCN materials

I was convinced that I would be able to get a degree through this site, through high pressure sales tactics I signed up and that has been a $10,mistakeI learned within just a few months that I had made an error but by that time there was nothing I could do, so I ended up paying all of that money for absolutely nothing

In I purchased multiple learning modules from the College NetworkI purchased the modules based on an unofficial review of my transcriptsMy official transcripts were not reviewed until almost one year laterAfter the official review of my transcripts, The College Network determined that I did not need all the courses I had purchasedI then received an adjustment, or credit back to my account for approximately $4,
In 2014, I paid off my loan through South East Financial, the credit union that I financed the learning modules throughI have maintained a zero balance with the College Network since this time
Currently, I have two outstanding issues with the College Network that require further action:

The CollegeNetwork ,as always,in its response is evasive and deceptive in answering questions .....they have left out ONE of the MANY important facts...they DID NOT send me ANY paperwork!!!!the paperwork that includes the form that you need to sign in order to cancel!!!!?i only receive this paperwork after contacting them numerous times to receive anything !!!!so yeah they sent me some paperwork....about a month later.....INTENTIONALLY AFTER the deadline!!!!

I have not received ANY reimbursement checks for my testing feesI requested my check for my first test almost a year ago now and recently requested a second check for a second testWhen I call the phone number listed for The College Network I am connected with the "education" department who claim they have nothing to do with the payments and I need to contact the finance departmentWhen asked for contact info for the finance department I am given an email address [email protected] have sent several emails without any type of responseI call back and advise I have not received any responses and still have not received payment and am told to continue sending emails and I will get a replyStill to this date I have not received a reply and have not recieved any type of reimbursement or given any assistance in attempting to locate my payment

I signed up for the college network as they stated they would provide me with online courses and exams and a private counselor to keep me on trackWhat I received were online links to print out my own textbooks and I have not spoken to any personal counselor in two yearsI attempted the courses and tried to self teach and then called to set up an exam for an algebra class and they told me they didn't believe I had spent enough time studyingEach class was supposed to take weeksI spent months on this classThey have taken money from me every month and not attempted to help me in any way they had promisedI signed a contract that was all online and as soon as it was signed it was deleted by the college networkI have attempted to have them send me a copy to my residence which they will not do unless I send them more moneyI officially informed them today that I will not be paying on this loan anymore

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe college Network failed to address any of the concerns I submittedIt appears that he utilized some sort of copy and paste blanket response that is probably used for the multiple complaints he responds toThis continues to be further evidence of the lack of customer service continually exhibited by The College NetworkIn addition to Mr. Bernard J* *** cookie cutter response, I attempted to contact him on the evening of 9/18/15, 9/21/and 9/28/as the "customer service" department provided his name as the "customer relations" departmentUnfortunately, I have yet to receive a call backHe did indicate in his letter response to contact him if he could be any further assistance but it appears that is just for show and not a request he chooses to follow through on.
To make this simple, I will highlight point by point Mr*** response in relation to my concerns.
TCN has a 5-Day Cancellation Policy*** *** *** did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel her contract
College Network is not reliable in their contacting practices. I did contact the person I was advised I needed to contact. I went through the channels that was provided to me. I was told to contact the salesperson. Once I noticed that no action was taken by the salesperson I contacted South East financial who held the loan information, they then advised me to contact the program directly. After several phone calls I was told that the day window had passed and I was now bound by the contractNow I am told I was within the day cancellation window and my contract should have been terminated
I sent a follow up email to TCN’s accounting department pertaining to the “Credit to Account” *** *** *** is due in the amount of $
I contacted customer service and they stated they see no communication for an expedition of my testing fee refund. I have checked South East Financial and they also have yet to receive a payment. This is the same program that has assured me that I would be receiving my testing fee's " out of courtesy" and not because I was due. Same company that continuously says one thing to the customer and does another. I made my initial request for the testing fee in APRIL, then again in JULY, followed by AUGUST and one more time in SEPTEMBER it is now OCTOBER and nothing. EVEN AFTER MR.SCHRADER responded NOTHING.
I have been a trusting person and doing my due diligence with the phone calls and follow up calls and still nothing from College Network but empty assurances that it will taken care of. Trusting those words have me here, years later still looking to get a refundI did not even address the fraudulent practice of telling the customer that they are accredited everywhere when I notified customer service that I would be moving to California, I was told me to just keep a CT address in order to be able to return to take the Connecticut state boards and then transfer my license to CA because they are not recognized there As I have stated in my complaint, I have paid $every month through direct debit to Southeast financial for 5/yearsthat is a total of between $9,to $10,000. I am asking again for a refund of the total cost of my contract which is approx$6,000. I have paid it in full already.
I am by no means going to sit here and completely attempt to discredit a company, I have heard that this is a great way for working people to obtain their degree, some have found success with itIn this case it is not one that was going to work for me so I requested to get out of it and am hopping that the company does the right thing and honor my request and issues me a refund for the contract amount.

This program is in no way associated with Excelsior College, as TCN continues to falsely advertise, including in their response to my complaintI will not ever use any publication from TCN, do not wish to remain their customer and want out of my remaining contract with them ASAPThe company should be pursued for misleading the public with their claims

I signed a contract with the college network for the LPN to BSN programThey stated this program would help me get through schooling easilyThe salesman also stated he would like to hang sometime, also inappropriateThey stated that all credits were transferrable to the Excelsior collegeAfter signing the contract I learned that Excelsior does not accept anything from them and they have had multiple complaints about this businessdays after signing the contract my debt was sold to two different creditorsI spent hours on the phone trying to figure out who they sold it toI am now in debt $7,for something I can never useThey are currently aggressively pursing me to pay them the full amountI have read that there are many complaints filed against themI feel cheated for trying to better myself and attempting to better serve my community!

“The College Network, Incagrees to provide to all customers in good standing the following support for the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased as long as I have taken at least one of the tests related to the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased every twelve months from the purchase date forward: Free updated versions of the Comprehensive Learning Modules (shipping and handling may apply) for the duration of my testing program with The College Network, Incand assistance in obtaining information and identifying test site locations

I signed up for classes with the college network in with the intention of completing my BSN in nursingI later found out that the information I received from the sales person was not trueI paid approximately $to the college network for course modulesI did not take any of the exams after finding out that the credits were not transferableI contacted the college network to ask for a refund but received an answering service that provided me with an email addressI sent an email but received no answerI am requesting a refund of my money from the college network

I filled out online for an inquiry and a lady came to my house at a previous address in a white bmw describing how the program worked (excelsior papers she had with her) she said that excelsior was the school they paid directly on my behalf and that she was an advisor so when I gave her my credit card number I would be able to start class that day and she hooked her computer up to my internet and showed me different screens I could log into for learning and how to take exams and quizes before *** *** *** was the loan that she had me signing but she explained it as financial aid and that I had to be approved first whcih would take several days to processThis lady came on thursday and after I could not log in I called and could not reach anyone until monday*** *** loan could only be cancelled in 24hours which had passed with my password not workingMonday following they reset and I was able to only go to screens that would always lock upThe books n

The College Network representative I met with informed me that before graduating from my selected nursing program, I would need to complete learning modules through them One of the modules, microbiology, I had already completed as a college course as part of my RN program He informed me that it wouldn't transfer because it was a different level, and that I would need to take the module so it will transfer to the MSN program I enrolled in the modules, and began classes at Regis University concurrently After speaking with my academic adviser, I was informed that all of the classes I would need to graduate were available through Regis University, and that my microbiology class would transfer I have contacted The College Network about feeling swindled by their representative, but they have been less than helpful on numerous occasions
