Thank you for your patience during this timeThe Retail Equation would like this time now to respond to Mr***s complaints/requests 1.Incorrect calculation on https://www.theretailequation.com/Consumers/FAQ Company states they block 1% of all consumers from making a returnIs there any data to prove it is %? Maybe it is 2%? The Retail Equation’s response: The TRE solution is designed to identify the percent of consumers whose behaviors mimic return fraud or abuse, and then, in conjunction with our retailer client’s processes, warn or decline those consumers making a returnThese statistics are based from regular internal analysis of our service, which shows that we approve 98.97% of all returns processed through the Verify® return authorization serviceWhile this percentage may vary slightly by retailer and by season, it has been consistent enough over the year life of the company to base these FAQs upon 2.Company also states on Revdex.com.org they only track id's and do not issue blocks of returnsThis is advertisingThe Retail Equation is a data harvesting company that needs to be subjected to regulation The Retail Equation’s response: TRE offers a very detailed FAQ list on our consumer web site that clearly describes the service we provide to retailers and how we collect, store, and utilize the data to prevent retail fraudWe also offer a consumer call center to assist any consumers with questions regarding warning or declines The desired settlement is described as: •Change the wording on their websiteIf there are quantity – % means quantity and 99% means quantity; % does not mean a small amount and 99% a large amountPlease eliminate numbers from your website because I am 99% sure that your numbers are not accurate The Retail Equation’s response: Based on the results listed above, the 99% and 1% are accurate figuresWe will not eliminate them from our web site, but since they may vary slightly over time we will add the word “approximately” to the first use of each metric in the FAQ list Regards, The Retail Equation

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Lovely Retail Equation rep I am glad you are being contracted by The Home DepotYou do not make any of The Home Depot's return policies it sounds likeI am asking you than what are The Home Depot return policies you follow It is you to decide of the denial I understandSo you have to follow some rules to say yes or no, please tell me about it, cause I don't know what they are I am glad Home Depot's corporate had spent precious time to review my ""NO PREVIOUS ACTIVITY AT ALL REPORT""I am so sorry but I keep looking at the same report, the one you were so kind to send me earlier, and I don' see any previous transactions listed at allI can provide you with the report if you want.,but I am assuming you have the same report, have you ? The report, under the denial paragraph doesn't mention anything about the high dollar non-receipted returnWhat it says is this: "" Your return was declined due to your return activity at the retailerReturns are declined for up to days from the date of this denial."" That's what it says Ones again I don't see any previous transaction listed on the report I don't know what was making you to believe, at the time of the transaction, that I was using store credits issued to others Looks to me like another argument from out of nowhere So The Home Depot does have the right to limit of what types of returns? So far none of your arguments seems to make any kind of sense Thanks for offer to contact Retail Equation directly, but you know what, check your recordsIt should show you I already had contacted you at least twiceAny time I have called I was instructed to contact Home Depot head quarters, with no reasonable explanation from you guys of your denial decisionAnd you know what, I have called Home Depot headquarters too And I have heard from them to contact you What am I a ping pong ball or dummy from Jerry Springer show ? Please give me the sensible reason for your decision, cause your arguments presented didn't buy me at all Thank you, Regards, [redacted]

How is this connected? They have never even been in the store to shop I wrote a letter and did everything they wanted and they have no record of checking their id's with the rejected receiptNow I would have to do it all over againI keep getting the run around with Retail EquationThere not even in the US, other people working in IndiaRetail Equation has a lot of complaints on them against [redacted] and [redacted] doing this I don't have any problems with those merchantsI believe it is [redacted] doing this in a way that is not really fair.Could you look into a bit moreI just want my record clean [redacted] can put a note anywhere they want saying that I can't return without a receipt because no one has to worry, I will never shop there againThe company has all the recordsI don't know how to download them and it is a lotWould be more waste of timeI have spent way to much time on this nonsense Also, I was informed that I can get a full copy of my file not just the return activity reportI asked RE yesterday and it seemed to be a noI want to have that please Regards, [redacted]
