I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
https://www.theretailequation.com/Consumers/no 'approximately' before '1%' and '99%'https://www.theretailequation.com/Consumers/FAQsome use of the word 'approximately' before '1%' and '99%'A mother can return baby sunscreen at baby's r' us twice (and also once)and be denied by The Retail Equation. So The Retail Equation writes '1%' and '99%' many times on most of the website pages presenting an image that the software is customized to flag 'evil 1%' (not you and not me; but an evil group of people).Return denial can happen to anyone

We have been able to research this consumer’s historyAfter thorough review of the consumer’s RAR, The Home Depot has found that return ***-030-THD was in errorThis
transaction originated from gift certificates used in original transactionsWe have removed transaction ***-030-THD from this consumers file and thus won’t be used for future decisioningThe Home Depot has also re-established this consumer’s ability to conduct returnsAlso please note that store credits are issued for non-receipted returns and are treated the same when you return something on store creditPlease keep in mind that The Home Depot can retrieve receipt information if the original credit card, debit card or a blank check is present with the account numbers that were used to make the purchaseThe use of store credits not issued directly to you or letting others use your store credits may also impact your ability to conduct returns
The Retail Equation thanks you for the opportunity to correct the mistake which was made at the time of the return

Thanks for the updateI was indeed able to return the remainder of my itemsI had not realized that merchandise purchased with gift cards were treated as non-receipted returnsI had inquired to HomeDepot about this when I was in the store, I even spoke with a manager and the manager said they could do nothing regarding itThey told me to call The Retail EquationIt seems there is a bit of blame shifting right nowNonetheless, my issue is now resolved and now I know not to return purchases made with a gift card

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I appreciate the transaction *** being removed from my profile, but it is not even close to the resolution I asked for, and the business did not address any of my complaintsI want the FIVE returns I made with receipts to be removed from my profile, since they were legitimate and non-fraudulent returnsAdditionally, what guarantee do I have that they will not just reject future legitimate with receipt returns? Can they provide that in writing? If they cannot, I will have to file a Revdex.com complaint against ***
