I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  Fred Meyer/Kroger has failed to prove the contaminated fuel was not from their facility.  I have received false information from their insurance company [redacted] who seems to think everyone else is ignorant or [redacted] agent Michael P. is ignorant.  As I stated in the attached to Michael Pickard on September 12 "You are miss stating that I am claiming "poor fuel".  I have never stated poor fuel as I have always made the claim that I received "contaminated fuel".  I will way out my options and advise Fred Meyer's manager at the Chinden location where I received the contaminated fuel of my decision.   Please be aware that my investigation to way out my options could take 30-60 days but under no circumstances am I relinquishing my claim against Fred Meyer at this time."As I stated "Please be aware that my investigation to way out my options could take 30-60 days but under no circumstances am I relinquishing my claim against Fred Meyer at this time."

[redacted]Problem:Filed a prior complaint ([redacted]) stating this Kroger store was overcharging customers for meat items that were marked as sale items. Since prior complaint was closed, this problem has continued. We have purchased meat twice recently and both times, sale items were not recognized at checkout. The customer service person did not catch the wrong price either, they continue to scan and place in bagging area. If we did not catch the mistake and make the cashier aware, we would have been overcharged. We even reported to the store assistant manager two weeks ago a few days after the last complaint was closed. Customers continue to be overcharged when meat is scanned and on sale (unless customers notice).Desired Outcome:Desired outcome is to FIX the problem. Other stores do not consistently overcharge customers where we shop.

This is an insurance matter that has been turned over to our claims management service provider, Sedgwick, for investigation and resolution. We concur with Sedgwick’s investigative team. Any concerns regarding the customer's claim should be made by contacting their offices directly. After...

On the receipts from King Soopers, it will state "You Saved (amount) With Our New Low Prices."  This statement will also include any manufacture coupons the customer has used--meaning, those coupons have nothing to do with "Our New Low Prices."This is false advertising in my opinion.  If a consumer brings in his/her own manufacture coupons, and Kroger incorporates that amount into their "New Low Prices" this is misleading the public.  If a consumer brings in no manufacture coupons, I have no trouble with that message on the receipt.  But--as I have said--when Kroger counts those manufacture coupons as a basis for its "new low prices" that, to me, is false advertising.This matter is not closed.  I would appreciate knowing what I need to do next.Thank you.[redacted] (h) ###-###-#### (c) ###-###-####

This customer has called our Customer Service Department and our Executive Team multiple times regarding this issue back in early February. This customer's concern has been documented in detail and his comments have been brought to the attention of the Store Manager. I offered to make this right...

with the customer but he refused, stating he would no longer be shopping with Kroger stores. I called the store today and verified they've put up a sign in order to prevent this from happening again in the future. All of the appropriate parties have been notified of this customer's concern. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  In my opinion, they are fraudulently advertising how they award points for purchases made of "The Kroger Family of Brands" products using their Kroger 1-2-3 Rewards [redacted].  They advertise that they pay 3 points for every total net dollar spent monthly for those items  This is not true.  I want them to stop advertising the lie.  I want them to admit that they have lied about the way they award points for those purchases.  I intend to pursue this further until a resolution is reached that I feel comfortable with.  If you cannot get them to behave appropriately, then I will continue to speak to relevant agencies until someone can force Kroger, Inc to award the full 3 points, or until they end their advertising campaign that announces an award of 3 points for every Kroger brand you purchase using their Kroger 1-2-3 Rewards [redacted] card.  Because of their fraudulent activity, I have cancelled my card with Kroger, and changed to a cash back card.  At least the cash back card pays the way they advertise.  I will continue to reach out to agencies to report this fraudulent activity, and I will be successful.
