I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #[redacted]. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. I had rejected previous response since no new information was provided at that point.  Customer service during this process was not effective.  I placed the complaint after several communications with no answer.  Action was taken only after Revdex.com was involved.

I have attached the photos as you previously asked. However, due to the poor quality of customer service I have received via emailing your company at that address, I would prefer to keep our Revdex.com dialogue going. It appears your company is much more responsive and accountable by way of the Revdex.com.   As I said, I have attached PDF’s with photos and further detail about the defectiveness of the sunglasses. As you can see via the photos and annotation, one of the temples/arms of the sunglasses extends way too far out. This is evident in all the pictures included. This can also been seen when the sunglasses are resting on the surface. Both temples should be resting on the surface, however, you can see the defective temple is in the air and creates a shadow demonstrating the sunglasses off-balancedness due to the defective temple. Please review these photos and contact me any additional questions. These photos verify the defectiveness of these sunglasses.   In addition, I am strongly considering going to an authorized [redacted] store to verify their inauthenticity should you not remedy this situation by providing a loyal customer a refund. The United States takes intellectual property laws very seriously. After further review and research, I have found multiple accounts (via reputable online news websites-I would be more than happy to provide links) that show TJ Maxx has been guilty of selling fake designer goods. It is my firm belief that these sunglasses I recently purchased from your company are defective, used, and fake. Should the [redacted] store confirm my belief, I will be left with no other choice but to report your company to the Michigan State Attorney General and also alert my local new of your company’s illegal behavior of selling counterfeit goods.   As you can imagine, I'm beside myself with the lack of customer service I have received from your company especially after being a very loyal customer. I have received only ONE call from TJ Maxx trying to resolve this issue.  They left a message, but I have been unable to reach them back.  Obviously this is not an important issue with them to fix.  The cashier and the manager were both very rude to me...the only explanation for this considering how nicely they treated the black woman before me who had NO receipt, the tags were removed, and the item was damaged, is that they were being racist towards me.  I had the receipt and the tags were still attached, and the item was in brand new condition.  The cashier was looking over the coat as best she could trying to find something wrong with it, but she never found anything. I have since returned the item to their location in [redacted], there was absolutely NO issue at this location.  They returned the coat no questions asked and didn't treat me like a thief.  When I informed the cashier at the [redacted] location about the issue I had at the [redacted] location, she informed me that the tags do indeed match the coat that I was returning.  The cashier and manager at the [redacted] store both refused my return because the coat was brown, but the tag stated it should be for a blue coat.  The cashier at [redacted] showed me that the coat in question was reversible....it was blue on one side and brown on the other.  She also said that since there was a receipt and the tag was still attached, and the fact that the coat was a [redacted] coat as the description also stated, then there was really NO VALID REASON that the [redacted] location should have refused this return.   I will have to escalate this matter to the Attorney General since TJ Maxx is not interested in resolving this issue.
