I hired Orkin Pest Control to rid my home of bedbugsFrom May through July the bugs were still all over the house, and they started out in one room
Orkin charged me $up frontI paid with my Discover cardThis was in May, and since they are a well known company and the receipt says "we are not happy until YOU are happy" I thought I could trust themIn July I still had bedbugs all over my home, even though I followed all their directionsMy grandson has asthma and I have COPD and my son is autisticThis incident caused all of us much anxiety*** invoice no5/10/

They claim If you call with a new bug problem between services that they will call you back and get that taken care of
I Had service at my future residence for a yearWhen I finally was able to move in I had a few issues in which I called to speak to my service techAfter calling the local office plus times over the course of the month a July with no return call to discus the problem that I was havingI found a different pest controll providerBecause they were no longer doing what I had been paying them to doNow they are telling me that even tho they are not controlling the pest at my residence that I am required to let them preform one more service which I must pay for even thowhile they were still supposedly doing services I would find new ant hills just out side my house and they would not leave a service slipSo I assuemed that they were no longer serviceing meAdd that to the point of not being able to get a return phone call from the person supposedly doing the serv

We got a treatment for termites months ago A little over a month ago (early May) we noticed live termites and called the inspector After a few days, he called back and we set up an appointment He never showed up nor did he bother to call to let us know 1/day of work lost
We set up a second appointment and once again, he did not show up or call We talked to his manager who set up a third appointment Once more, he did not show up or call
We then called headquarters who said they would have the manager call immediately We never got a call
The office never returns calls, the inspector never returns calls or answers his phone, the manager makes promises that are never kept
We had planned on using Orkin for several other properties but we will never use or recommend Orkin They got our money and did provide an initial treatment, but there was no folland the guarantee is worthless

I was charged for a service that I never receivedI was under a monthly contract with Orkin where the technician was supposed to come out once a month, because of my situation the technician would do a follwith me after weeksSo he came out the middle of August but could not make it back on the last day of the month because he stated he was too busy and he came back on September 1st to do at my follvisitThe entire month of September he never called or returned my calls to set up my monthly service for SeptemberWhen I called *** which is the number on my bill, I asked to speak to a managerWhen the manager came on the phone he stated that I had service on September 1st so I was responsible for the billI tried to explain to him that it was a follvisit but he was not taking that as an answerSo I told him I would like to cancel my contract with them and he argued with me about itWhen I contacted my Orkin technician he stated that yes Septem

I called the local Orkin office on November 21, to schedule a between home spraying because we saw bugs The person handling the local office was in a big rush and said "I will call you back in like minutes!" She took my phone number I never got a call back I called back on 11/24/and she said sorry that she did try to call me "multiple times" but had the wrong number written down I requested to close my account, she said sure no problem She could not provide me with a confirmation number, she said she could mail me a "request to cancel" form I asked to speak with a manager but none were available, she said she would have someone call me back As of now I have received no phone calls My account number is***

They did not honor a cancellation of serviceThey continued to bill us and come to our home and have now sent us to collection
More than 50% of service calls were made at times when we were not home and could not let the servicer in to perform all of the services promisedThey would call during work hours the day before the call and leave a messageMy husband told the service provider during a call that we want to cancel services They came again the next month, while we were not home, and then charged us the full amount

The exterminator came by and to spray the outside of my house without my permission two weeks agoThe bugs are coming insideI never had a problem with roachesI had the house sprayed because my daughter was small and roaches carry diseasesHe had but I didn't answer the phoneI had called the office to let know that I did not want Kenneth to returnOn several occasions he sprayed the outside of the house without spraying the inside because I was not homeHe sprayed the outside of the house in April but didn't come back until June to spray the inside

About two years ago, my wife paid for a service with the company with her Debit card that rarely gets used The day after paying, several charges on her card appeared starting at a gas station in Chesterfield all the way to Alton, Il
My wife called and canceled our scheduled service with the company shortly after these charges appeared and we filed a police report
Then, the company provided an unauthorized service and has been trying to bill us for it since
Now, I received a notice of service on my front porch for March of this year that we did not request
The company has turned over the first service to a collection agency and now is extorting more money from us by providing additional services
I want this to stop and I want them to remove the service we did not ask for from collections Please help

On April 21, 2016*** *came to inspect our home for a treatment for termites at the end of the inspection he provided my daugthter via email with a Treatment/Inspection ReportHe explained to me and my daughter *** the cost and other things like my husband had to remove a piece of wood from the basement to be able to get in there, he also showed my daughter & I a video of termites and explained that this treatment really had to be doneA couple days later after speaking to my husband we then decided to go foward with the treatment My daughter *** contacted*** to set up the treatment appointment for May 05, On the day of the treatment Henry arrived to our home to start the treatment Later on in the day Henry was finished in less then about hours (*** had explained to us that this treatment would take hours) My daughter *** then paid Henry the $1,Later on when my husband got home from work he began to inspect around the house to see what had be

In July 2016, we called for pest control service and was told it could not be provided in the evenings after when we get home because no one is allowed in the field while the office is closedWe explained that we always had service after in the pastConsequently, no time was agreed upon to come out We then received a bill that stating someone came out and serviced the outsideThe bill was for a full service $ We asked why would we agree for someone to come out while we are at work and service only the front porch, the back porch is behind a locked fenceOrkin managers insist someone came out, no invoice was left on our front doorWe continue to receive a bill for the $They would not relent and said they would come out to re-service and we informed them that we would agree to that if we are home at an agreed upon timeThey never set an agreed upon time and to add insult to injury, we just received another bill now stating we now owe $for July and October

We had the local Orkin professional come to our house and spray for fleas due to our dogsThey charged us about $for the first visit but said that included the follvisit in two weeksWe scheduled the follow-up, but noone showed up or calledI called the office the following week and they said they'd get someone out to our houseI never received a call back nor did anyone come out to our houseI decided not to pursue it until we received a bill a month later for another treatment that we never receivedI called the office and they apologized and scheduled someone to come outNoone ever showed up this time eitherSo I called back and asked them to cancel the account and not to contact us againAnother month went by and another bill came for the same amountI called the office again and they said they'd take care of itWell two weeks ago, we were sent a letter notifying us that we were in their collections department due to non-paymentI called and they said I'd have

In July called in Orkin for service on my house and was told my plan would be for the first visit then every other month ongoing The gentleman showed up, we paid him and he said if we need anything between the next service in two months to call and they would come for free I called a month later and due to problems and they came out I received a bill from them and called and was told no this is my plan I was to billed after even though their representative at my house said it would be free if it was between the next appointment I cancelled my service due to a job loss and wanted to restart and they quoted me the exact plan as I assumed before I was told my previous plan was different I stated it was exactly the same You changed it when you billed me an extra monthly charge I feel they were deceptive in their billing practices when the guy providing me with service said they would come out again

They are a dishonest businessThey will send someone the very first time that tells you the contract doesn't actually mean what it says and you do not have to use the full year of serviceThen they send someone months later regardless of you saying no thanks and then bills you for it

I have been happily using Orkin's pest control services for a year now, and I was very happy with our services until our last visit After one very poor visit that seemed to do absolutely nothing to alleviate the pests, I called the Branch Manager at our local branch *** *** *** *** I spoke with the receptionist who was very kind The reason for this complaint is for my treatment by the Branch Manager, ***, who was extremely rude to me on the phone call by talking over me as I voiced my complaint to him He offered me an extra service visit, which I was not interested in As I told him, the service visit would do nothing for the $visit a month ago that did absolutely nothing for my house and I would prefer a refund or a credit towards a future visit He told me, "I am not giving you a refund." I contacted Orkin thinking they could come and stop the mice from getting into my homeI explained to the technician that I was extremely afraid of mice and I had a dog and needed them to be stopped from coming in my homeI didn't want to burden my dad because he had just had stints put in his heartThe technician placed paper trap with cheese in it in my pantry and one under my sinkHe placed plastic looking trays/traps in my garageI gave the traps a full week, thinking the mice would come to the trapsDidn't work! I gave up, and I called my dad and had him come up and set the old fashion mice traps with peanut butterMy dad spent the night, the next day, mice on the traps he set!
