I was duped into a contract with more services than I needed (I feel I was taken advantage of because I was a woman living alone at the time) I was told I had squirrels living in my attic (upon a second opinion I found I certainly did NOT.) I requested services for only carpenter ants, and was given a contact and financing (this was in October 2016) On May 31, I called to cancel all future services and spoke to *** and she informed me that I would no longer need to make any payments to Orkin or to the finance company (Rollins) It is now August and I have been fighting with Orkin nearly every week and NEVER getting a call back They also said they did not have any information as to how much was financed I explained to them that if I cancelled my services THEY owed me a credit for the services I did not receive and then it would be my responsibility to pay Rollins the remaining balance I have been calling every week or so and have been asking for a supervisor and when

I have tried to cancel my service numerous timesThe last time the pest control provider came out after I told him not too and I tried to dispute it but Orkin continued charging my credit card until I had funds availableYesterday I received another call from pest control technician that he was coming out todayI left him a voicemail last night telling him that I did not want him to come out and that my service should have been canceledToday my credit card said it had an attempt of a charge from OrkinI tried calling the technician back and he did not pick upI tried calling the local office and no one picked up

Mis-advertised and misleading inspection, time change, poor practices
Called to schedule an inspection for fleas and spiders, instead, customer service scheduled for only bed bugs, not a problem we haveTime scheduled was between 1pm to 5pm, however, technician showed up without notice and or call at 9am on 9/16/Inspection was quick and he states that no findings, however, he was checking fod only bed bugs, which he did not find, however, only checked one mattress and outside the houseHow is this a proper inspection? the other bedroom was not checked, or couches

Orkin installed a new garage overhead door rubber floor *** that raised the door and left a gap on the top of the door

I did not authorize pest control service nor was I contacted ahead of time to authorize a service call I was mailed a bill for a service call on 1/9/upon when I learned that a service call had been made as I was not home I called on different occasions to have the issue resolved, however each time was told it would be It has not been resolved and I am still receiving a bill I did not sign a contract or give my permission for service with this company I am using a different company for my pest control

On Tuesday, April 5th, I called the Maryland (Halethorpe/Hanover) office of Orkin Pest Control to question the appropriateness of an invoice I had received The invoice in the amount of $is for services delivered on 3/4/ I told the customer service representative that I had an existing contract with Western Pest (#***) with a renewal date of 3/15/ Since that contract was still in effect on the service date, it should cover the services on the invoice I also told the customer service representative that I wanted my Orkin account (#***) closed as I found their service unsatisfactory I was told I would receive a follcall

My scheduled service was not available because of health issues for me in FebThey sent Aaron out to service anyway and he wasn't allowed to come into the home because of my illnessThis was a lung illness that lasted over monthsBefore I was fully recovered, Orkin was sending me a bill for a service that I didn't receiveThey were calling, sending mail and emails and threatening to come to my houseI finally had to end all contact with them and sent them written notice that if they showed up at my house or contacted me again I would be getting in touch with the policeThey have now sent this to collections in the amount of $I do not owe for a service that I did not receive and I don't feel it is fair for this to be on my credit reportThese people have tried to strong arm and bully me and their behavior is not professional at all

I called orkin initially to assess the problem of bedbugs in my home On the day of the assessment they were over minutes late to the appointment It only took him minutes to see that I had them and that I should have a treatment The person told me the only way to completely remove the bedbug problem was to do a heat treatment that cost over dollars and that I should get on a monthly service just in caseWe ordered covers for our beds and the heat treatment to be performedwe got the house in order for that day, paid for the visit and then when the date was finalized they came back out to get more dollars to start a payment plan for a year for the rest of the moneyOn the day of the treatment the employee was again late on the time he was supposed to be there we all left as he completed the treatment upon our return we could barely step foot in the house so we remained out for hoursHe did not bring our covers for the beds later that evening we returne

I retained Trutech services back in December Treatment was to occur once a month to prevent wildlife intrusions We cancelled services in March (I paid in full) I continue to receive a bill indicating I still owe for one month but when I call to resolve, different ones give me conflicting information concerning which month I noticed in my research that they actually came out January then February 17, instead of weeks I have attempted MANY times since June, through phone calls and an email, to resolve this problem I have left messages in which I never received a call back Then when I do talk with someone they tell me a district manager will call me, but I never hear from anyone This has happened multiple times The last time I spoke with someone they said they would put "call back is urgent," but I never heard from anyone Also, when they came out in March they took my rat bait boxes that I had purchased from another company

Failure to complete job as needed to take care of the problem
Around may 20th we had orkin come to our home and do an inspection for what we believed to of been bed bugsThey confirmed that we had them and went over our plan optionsWe chose to do heat treatment in the active room and gel treatments in other rooms where there was signs of activityWe were informed that the that we would be charged would cover the initial treatment and two follow up treatmentsOn May 24th a gentleman came and did the initial heat and gel treatmentTold us he would see us the following two weeks for our follow up treatmentsWhen he came for the follow ups he did a very quick walk thru said there was no activity so no need to retreat but we were told originally that retreatment would be done with or without signs of activityNow take us to 9/10/and they are back and worse then everWe call the following morning since they were found on a Sunday and orkin is not open on the weeke

Website states that if a call is a made before 2pm local, that you will get same day serviceI called at to get an appointment and was told that a technician would be there between 12-pm later received a call from someone at the Milwaukee branch where a technician was and was told that the earliest someone would be at my house was Thursday (days later) I asked about the same day service and was told that other customers were being rescheduled ahead of me I called the main customer service number back and asked them why and was told to talk to a manager I was transferred back to the the Milwaukee branch and the same person answered and said that the main Orkin location in Atlanta doesn't know what's going on in Milwaukee and no one would be coming out Both branch manager and service manager were not available Not sure how an advertisement that says same day service if you call before 2pm can't be honored, especially after Orkin already took my credit card info

Began services with Orkin in August of My husband and I were told that the treatment requested would only last one year and then we would have to renew contract for future services as agreement of initial services would endIt is a mystery if the "every other month" treatment, as agreed upon, ever occurred because my husband or myself would receive a call from an Orkin technician informing us he would be by the next day, which would usually be left in a voicemail and most of the time both my husband and I would not be home that next dayMy husband would call the Orkin company that evening or the morning of informing the company he was not able to reach the calling Orkin technician and requested to reschedule the appointment made by the Orkin technicianMy husband was told that the coming Orkin technician would be informed and we would reschedule treatment at a more convenient timeHowever, we would find an invoice on
