I requested assistance from Orkin over the phone for a one time service callWe were quoted a price of $for a one time visit and that this price would drop to $every two months (or $55) a month if we elected their subscription planI told the customer service agent I wasn't sure and wanted to see how the service went first
The Orkin service pro came to the house and did an okay job- not much more than we could've done ourselvesHe then tried to get us to sign up for the monthly service fee without telling us what we were signing and then said the bill would be $and wouldn't leave until we paid himHe was quite aggressive
We don't mind paying for the service but would like to pay what we agreed to originallyI tried calling the local office and the customer service associate didn't know what to do but kept telling me we were stuck with the bill

I hired Orkin to take care of a gnat problem years ago and have continued the service until this August Occaionally I would call them after a treatment when the gnats still persisted and they would come back at no charge This year in August I called them as the problem wasn't solved and they came and resprayed This time they charged me for the recall I called them about it and during the conversation they told me they don't take care of gnats and that I was getting Mosquito service I just assumed that the gnats were covered in that service Whenever I spoke to them or one of their service people I always mentioned the gnats, in fact they would be swarmed by them when they came to spray They were to credit the charge and I canceled the service In September, I came home to find an Orkin employee spraying - I told him I had canceled the service and he left I then received a bill for that treatment and the recall from August had not be creditedOn 9/I spoke to***

I'm writing to make a complaint regarding the inattentive service that I have received On 7/12/I made a frantic call to the office to schedule removal of a bald faced wasp nest on my house This thing is terribly huge, and I've never seen anything like it before My fear of insects, and these types of pest does nothing for my mental health I have been stressed since 7/
On 7/13/I got a visit from the exterminator and he sprayed the nest, (I assume killing all of the bees) He did tell me that he would return on Friday 7/16/to see if there was still life, and if not he would remove this extremely large basketball sized nest
Mind you I have not been sleeping well because this creature is on my house!!!! Friday came and it began to get late in the evening I called the office at 1pm, and again at 4pm Later I received a call from the exterminator at 5:30pm stating that he had gotten tied up in Brookfield, and he would come out and take care of my problem TODAY

I have a problem with ghost ants and was told by the "orkin man, ***" that you need to kill the queen, just killing the visible ants is not enough He has been here weeks in a row and just sprays the ants (which keep returning) and has not addressed how, if, or when he will try to kill the queen The second time he did finally say he could put bait down, but they were out of the plastic they use to apply the poison on and he wanted to apply the poison directly on my countertop by my coffee maker I told him that was not acceptable - we prepare food on the counter and would not be able to see where it was and keep it from contaminating our food and dishes He put some bait under the counter and left I called the following day, yesterday, to see when they would address baiting and have plastic needed and asked to speak to supervisor to see if they plan to do this He still did not call me back today I just want out of the contract at this point I can spray raid on the count

I signed up with Orkin in the fall They have been out to handle a mouse problem 4-timesThey have set traps and bait stationsThey caught a couple mice, but noted there was a small opening that needed to be filledThey acknowledged that the hole was small enough to qualify for it to be filled under my regular service contractOne technician said to have the regular tech handle itThe regular tech said "no" that I needed to have someone from their office come out and lookThe third guy came out and said he found no additional openings where the mice could have come in and acknowledged that the original opening was probably too small for a mouse to get into and that the regular tech should fix itThe last tech that came again said the opening was very small and he would note it on my account for the regular tech to fix it because his hands were too big to get into the area(They weren't)I called on April and left a message because I never heard from Orkini received

I took the day off of work to wait for the service tech to come to my houseHe never showed up, but when I called he generated a bill even though he never showed upWhen I called the office to inform them of this the service tech called me back and asked what he could do to fix thisI find this dishonesty very disturbing, especially since we had been allowing these men into our homeit took several calls to have the bill removed, and it made me wonder if the service tech had even come the time beforeOn top of that I MISSED WORK FOR NOTHING! I asked for proof that the service tech had actually come to my house the previous time, and instead my bill was sent to collectionsUnacceptable!

Orkin sent "chad" to do my annual termite inspection
I took one gsd (year old) in for boarding, so that she would not be a problem at the house
I kept the other gsd (years old) at home, because she is old and not aggressive, she is passive, so and put her inside my house
*** entered my yard through the North half of the double gate on the drive way I opened it for him
I did not open nor invite him to open the south half of the double gate
Each half is feet wide, so I saw no need to provide him access through the entire foot opening
I also opened the smaller gate to the back yard (single wide) for his use

After a rather protracted wait, I went outside into the front yard to see what point we had reached

We had a great service man and then they changed it to someone who did not know the job!! We called and asked to gets someone better and told them we were not going to pay for the horrible service we did receiveNo responseThey changed guys but kept sending billsI kept calling!!! and Calling!! and Calling!! no response back! But I kept calling!! I would ask for the top person but they would not pass me thru to himThe service we received did not help with the pest issues we were havingI just kept calling and if I happen to get someone they would says they had to check on something and call me backBut of course NO PHONE CALLS back!!!!! I kept calling!! Then I received a letter from collection companyVery disappoint that this was their answer rather than calling me back with a solutionI finally was able to talk to the top guy and he said if I would have contacted them earlier the could have resolved thisREALLY!! Then he told me that*** -who told me he would check on

I have many complaints, I called Orkin to cancel many times, left messages, left a message with a temp employee, wrote something on main website Took weeks to get back to me They billed me again, which was taken off But final bill I was not satisfied with Our household called many times about ants issue, they could Not fix The attention they promised was not delivered The customer service was bad and that is saying in nicelyOverall, it was a horrific situation

My husband and I decided to go with orkin for a sudden roach issue we have in our kitchenThey sold us on their service with a decent price and talk of treating the home successfully or giving us our money backHere we are months later and now they are rerasing our refund despite not fixing the issueActually it seems as if it has gotten worseThey came out numerous times within a month span and treated the homes several times by my request as I was not seeing progressI even had the manager come out with the technician once as wellI haven't seen or heard from them in a month other thend when they sent me my next billWhen I called and spoke with the manager he refused to refund me my initial payment and actually informed me I owed another $billThis company is a fraud and not only could they not do year job and fix my bug issue but they cpuldnt even own up to it and refund me my money!

I received a bill for pest control services for September I never saw the Orkin man at the house that day and a large wasp nest was still on my front porchThere were still spider webs all over and later that night we had a HUGE LIVE spider in our bathroomI called the company to say that I did not believe that he had actually sprayed and that I wanted them to come back outThe receptionist said she would have someone call me to set up a time to come backNo one ever called or came back outI wrote the company and told them that I no longer wished to do business with them and to cancel my servicesI also told them to stop sending me bills for the September service, since I did not believe they truly sprayed and they never came back to spray againThey sent another billI called again and went through all of it againThe receptionist again said she would have someone call meThere still has not been a resolution to this situation

We paid our annual termite inspection fee of $287.14,on July 2, By mid October we had not received service, nor did we receive any correspondence from them to schedule our serviceAt that time we called and they offered to send someone to do the service, however, it was someone that we asked , several years ago not to do our service again because he did an inadequate job.After calling the Branch office and talking with various people there, an employee refused to solve the issue and hung up the phone on usThen we called the Regional office and complainedThis resulted in eight phone calls back and forth from the Regional, the Branch, and the Atlanta offices

The Branch office in Fayetteville began to give us different information by different people as to when we would receive our refundOn November 26, we were told the check was already cut and we should receive it in two

from the first day of the contract I told the company that I was only interested in having the inside of the building treated and that I would need to be contacted a week before the treatment was to be applied so I could set up a time with the tenants and so I could let the person in this never happened they would call the day before or two days before I had to call time and time again to change the service date told the company that the service was to be cancelled that I was not happy with the service I called , sent email went on the companys website to say that I cancelled the service the company keeps sending me email that they will be out to service the building I call and they tell me that the service is cancelled but they send me a report that the building was serviced I will NOT pay for any bill from Orkin I will
not pay for service that was cancelled now or in the futureWas not happy with the product also they left ugly stains all along the wood work dark brown booger

Orkin installed a sub-pump at their recommendation underneath our houseThis past winter at their regular chetheir technician told us the sub pump was not working and showed us photos of the water underneath the houseSince then we have been calling and scheduling someone to come fix it every week or soBut no one ever shows up and when we call to find out why they tell us that we did not have an appointmentWe have had several appointmentsIt seems they are simply trying to wait out the warranty period so they won't have to fix the sub pumpOtherwise they are completely incompetentEither way we will be switching pest control companies if not pursuing financial compensation for water damage resulting from them refusing to fix the sub pump

On March 13, I contracted with TruTech Wildlife Service to remove rodents (rats and mice) from my house at 41st Street Their representative, Mr*** contracted to: trap the rodents, a full exclusion from the house and finally a sanitation treatment Mr.*** promptly began work on plugging points of entry and setting traps but within a couple of weeks stopped comingHe did not return my phone calls so I called the corporate offices in Georgia Soon after that I was contacted by his replacement, a man named *** who lived in Midland *** came only once or twice and on one of those visits told me *** had moved to Fort Worth After those visits *** also stopped returning my calls so I again called the corporate offices and was contacted by a third TruTech representative, Phillip Burris who worked out of Brownfield Like the previous two representatives he came once or twice and since his visits has failed to answer my repeated calls or text messages

On or around May 7, 2018, I contracted this Orkin Branch to eliminate a roach problem at the house that we recently moved intoWhen I called them, the roach problem was limited to the kitchen area and wash room areaSince then they have come out to do bi-monthly treatments, and had to do in between treatments as well, due to the problem being worsewe have followed their advice, by sealing all open food products in ziploc or storage bagsWe have cleaned out any dead roaches we can findwe keep dishes washed and dried and dry the sink outWe have kept trash out away from the houseOur small roach problem has turned into a big roach problemThe roaches are now all over the entire housethere are many "babies", and roaches with egg sacs, despite being told that the product would stop the reproductive cycleWe even have followed one technicians advice, and have stopped shopping at a local bargain storeThe infestation is much worse now than when they started treatmentWhen I ca

On August 30th, *** *** of Orkin came to my house to treat for fleas I had come back from work to let him in and explain our situation in detail He told me that I didn't need to be there for the treatment and we discussed a plan for him to exit out our back door, which could be locked before being shut Upon returning home that evening, I noticed that the trim around the door had been pulled approximately 1/inch off the wall with parts of the plaster attached A six inch section of the door framed had also been broken off and was lodged inside the trim I sent pictures of the damage to *** through text with the message, "Hi, this is *** *** from Woodcraft in *** Can you fill me in on what happened with the back door today?" He responded with, "Wow I pulled the door closed behind me and it got stuck so I pushed it back so I could slam i

Services contracted for termite treatment agreement were not done over the years Original contract in ($750) and paid continuously thru 2012($85/year) Each time requested to retreat only an inspection (?) done and collection of money I currently have termite damage that started prior the the last look by Orkin The services to retreat were never provided over all those years and to not cover damage is equivalent to taking a senior citizens money and providing no serviceThe office now says there is no history available since they switched to a different system Yet I have a history of all the checks they cashed
If services were done properly there would be no damage To offer a treatment service and not cover any damage if the treatment does not work is ridiculousget out of that business if you don't know what you are doing
To swindle elderly individuals out of their money and not provide a service as disgraceful

I have had multiple issues with Orkin over the last monthI have scheduled three appointments with them to terminate mice in my home and they have failed to follow through with all three appointmentsI have small children living in my home, so this was a huge disturbance for my family and their lack of consideration had left a lingering health risk in my homeThe first appointment, I was told they would arrive on September 1st, and they didn't showI took off of work for this appointment and missed out on money I could have made that dayThey did not call and when I called minutes prior to the end of the appointment, I was told that they had a "scheduling miscommunication."
