In 2013, I paid Orkin of Little Rock, AR to
repair termite damage at my home, Additionally, I paid them to install a vapor/moisture barrier under the home upon completion of installing new floor joists
After paying Orkin approximately $10,000, the area under the home began to floodThe vapor barrier was improperly installed, creating a "swimming pool" (the term used recently by a licensed contractor) under the homeThe floors have since buckled and all floor joists must be replacedI have recently been informed by licensed contractors that Orkin repairmen "scabbed"

Was sent a bill of $from Orkin, Inc Called and asked if I could make payments Told I could make 4, so I made the first payment 11/22/ My renewal date was November 11, Received a letter asking for the ENTIRE bill on 12/11/ Called back and was told ALL PAYMENTS HAD TO BE SENT IN BY END OF DECEMBER That is not a payment plan! Instead of having a year to pay the balance, I have less than days! This is UNFAIR!

I called on a Saturday (4/22) and they said the could be out on Monday morningThey no showed for the appointment, blaming a computer error for scheduling it for a Sunday(4/23) when they don't even operate, instead of Monday(4/24) They made no effort to make it right that day, I was instead given the option to cancel the visit or wait til TuesdayI should have cut my losses, but I know I couldn't get someone else out on Tuesday at that point so I accepted the appointment

I have been set up for quarterly services with this company for a year In August, they sprayed the outside front of my home I called and tried to have someone come back out to finish the service and told them I would pay once someone came back out The person did not show up for the time we had set up Then, they came out again and did the same thing in November, charging me for another service A couple of weeks later, turned me over to collections I called the company to try to speak to a manager to work this out and let them know, I still have not had my service completedThe lady at the local branch seemed helpful and let me know the technician that was supposed to be helping me is no longer with the company I have yet to hear back from the local manager,***Today, I received a call from*** at corporate and was told that the service was completed because it was the front of my house was sprayed and it forms a barrier and that I owe the total for two services

On November 12, I retained service with Orkin to treat the interior and exterior of my home especially a situation of bees and wasps living in the framework of my home I paid $for service Due to heavy rain the technician could not complete the exterior portion of the service nor could they handle the bee situation I was told that they would come back within days to complete the service and that as soon as my husband drilled holes in the wall they would come back to put insecticide into the holesOn December 6, an additional $was automatically deducted from my bank account for servicesAt this point, a technician still had not been back to the premises to complete the service I called the company and arranged to have a technician come out on December 12, after 2:00pm I specifically asked that they call me approximately minutes prior to arriving so that I could be home to let them inside I never received a phone call, nor did anyone show up t

I called the company and we decided on an appointment for the sales representative to come and explain what will happenDuring the appointment, the representative kept saying they will "spray" inside and outside once every month when I sign the contractTherefore, I signed the contract and paid the down paymentThen, I waited for a technician to call and make an appointment to come, the company never did, until I contacted the sales representative and complainedWhen the technician came, he did not spray any pesticides inside the buildingHe walked around for an hour doing nothing but "inspection" and then in five minutes he applied a gel "pesticides" which I did not see any trace of and after a couple of days found insects anywaysI contacted the company and asked to cancel my contract which thankfully they didHowever, I asked them to refund my down payment back since the service done was not professional, effective nor real, so the manager said he will try

The Technician came on 8/18/to do pest treatment on my houseThe Tech did not complete the services that is on the Initial Treatment Checklist ! Back in jan of this year we had bed bugs in our homeWE had orkin come out and do the job they charged us dollars to eliminate my home of bed bugs Before orkin came and treated my home I threw out all my furniture couches beds bedding ripped out all the carpet basically the whole house was gutted nothing in my house pictures dishes etc .After they treated my house they inspected a week later and gave us the clear to move back in So we came in and swept and vacumned before we layed the carpet and flooring finished the flooring and cleand everthing wiped down outside before it was brought back into the house and washed and dried every piece of clothing we owned before it was brought back in our homeBought new beds encasments for every bed new furniture for the living room And the first couple of days back in my home I found a live bed bug in my master bedroom called they came and sprayed .About weeeks later I found anther one in my bathroom it was dead on the wall

I contacted Orkin for a rodent problem in our attic I called because they have the Revdex.com seal I found out there is no office on our island The office that assigns the technicians is in HawaiiThe technician contacted me and we set up a time he could arrive to remedy the problem He used a very sticky board trap (I think of them) in the atticThe rat was caught, but managed to break free I asked the technician to set a different trap, which he did I told him that someone mentioned to me that peanut butter was a good lure He didn't have any and I had to provide the bait These traps were too small and probably wouldn't kill rodentsOne of the traps had the bait removed by the rodent without springing itI am very disappointed in the service provided for these reasons: 1.No one answers the phone at the Hawaii office I had to always leave a message No one returned my calls 2.The technician would probably have done a better job if his supervisor provided him with be

I contacted Orkin April 28,in regard to an acrobat ant problem our home was experiencingI spoke extensively with the agent on the phone and she informed me that the initial treatment would be $This would include complete treatment of every room in my home (including basement,attached garage ,attic and perimeter of the outside of our home) I was told the technician would caulk any possible entry points and treat for field mice if any presence of them was found.I was assured that the first visit would be lengthy since it would take longer to complete the initial application in our 2,square foot homeThis was the rationalization for the pricey $cost for the initial treatmentThe technician that was sent to my home on 4/30/though pleasant spent roughly minutes to apply the product, at no time did he enter the garage or either attics in my homeI was quite shocked when he told me he had completed the application and was ready to sit down and go over the paperwor

I have a contract with orkin since for termites, they placed termite baits around the whole house and every tree in my yard , yesterday I noticed the fig tree had been blown over from the storm, I started to cut it down when I noticed termites in the branches, I called Orkin to come stray the tree or the area where the tree is, they told me they could not stray the tree because only the house is coveredIf only the house is covered why did they put termite baits around every treeThey want to charge me to stray the tree
