7-22- Work order given to Orkin rep of my complex to service my patioI received an email later that day stating the work was completed, when in fact it was notI stayed home the entire day waiting for the rep 7-25- I spoke to *** in the mgmt office of my apts and was told the Orkin employee filled out paperwork that the service to my apt was completedI was also informed that I wasn't the only resident with the same complaint on the same dayThis is the 2nd time the same employee did the same thing with my orderThe 1st time was in May

When *** *** the Account Manager for Orkin pest control, first came over to my home in order to give me a quote on the possible costs for the services I requested
He explained to me that he understood that sometimes thing happen with low income households were they could be unable to pay for a year long contract and assured me that he was here to helpsaying that he should be contacted in such an event and gave me his personal card
My home had a rat problem as well as cockroaches, as you could have guessed that was a real problem to live within that environmentI there for with his assurance of aid just encase the worst happened agreed, paid an opening $and sighed to pay $every other month until the year expired
A few months passed and our problems were fixed pest wiseHowever me and my roommate decided to adopt a kitten from our friend who happened to have some extra that he was having trouble giving away

I had an agreement with TRUTECH,, started June 6, I paid the initial $349.00, and*** set out traps and deterrants for moles and armadillos She trapped one armadillo in two months and the mole problem is still hereIn the next two months she trapped one more armadillo I contacted the company and spoke with ***, the regional manager He stated to me he would send out another guy to help her out I have never seen anyone since then I called and asked for *** to call me back That was at the end of AugustI never heard from them so I called and told them to cancel my service.*** left the company at the end of July and no one ever came backI then sent an email from their website to consumer affairs and respectfully requested a refund sine I paid a total of $and only two armadillos were trapped and the moles continue to tear up my yard I feel as though I have been cheated out of my money I am a widow and I live off of limited income

On November 10th I was scheduled for my quarterly service I was home and waiting for Orkin to arrive They did not come There were thunderstorms this day so I assumed they don't spray during a storm for obvious reasons I was billed anyway I told them that I will not pay for services not performed They agreed and rescheduled This appointment was during a snow storm which I fully understand them not showing up again We rescheduled again for the following thursday and I got stood up yet again They are still saying that I owe them when no services were done It most certainly is not the money, but the principle They have not returned phone calls and have been very rude when I have spoken to them They sent me to collections How can they collect when they have not done service

I hired Orkin Pest Control to do a heat treatment at my home in PennsylvaniaThey were paid in full for the treatment however I had issues with the treatment which were eventually resolvedI also paid them from 5/to come monthly to spray for residual bed bugsThey continued to come however I stopped in December because I found out that the spray they promised was not a treatment for bed bugs but for small insects not including bed bugsI have contacted the company several times to see if they had a monthly service for bed bugs and was told noI have been paying them all this time for a service that was not for the issue

This company sent there workers out to our home first off he was unprofessional asking questions about our familyAnd they put mouse glue all over the bedroom funiture my mother called in a complaint which was ignored now they are harassing us for the billSending their employee to ring the door bell and put late notices on our front door after they have already sent the bill to collectionsWe made another call telling them to stay away from our home the lady was very rude and said she will continue to send her employee thereThis is the worse business practice I have ever seen

Under the contract orkin was to spray the inside of my home on a monthly basisThey did up until 10/The technician called in November I called him back never called back to schedule in December he came by after he was spraying someone else home four houses upStated he would have to come back or call to schedule, never called back I didn't hear anyhing from Chris or anyone else until 1/25/I received a call from the branch or route managerHe asked if he could come spray on 1/26/I stated as far as I'm concerned & the law you have violated the contract so the contract is vod & I want be there anywayHe also stated to me on the phone that he has receipts that I signed 11/& 12/so since he stated that I didn't sign anything fom November-JanuaryIf he has a receipts they are forged & that leads me to believe my signature is forged, also on the day of service the technician leaves my home with a check there are no checks from 11/16-1/so this bill that was sent to me for

Would like to report the unprofessional service I received I reached out to *** (XXX) XXX-XXXX to schedule an appointment for a mice issue at a property I own in Holly Springs, MS She scheduled the appointment sent a technician out, who would not perform any services until *** received the payment from me He then treated the home and said he would be back in days to follow up Nothing has been done since I have called several times and my tenant has called My tenant spoke with *** and she scheduled an appointment for 11/but no one showed up I am requesting a refund via my credit card company because at this point no one is getting back to me and the services were not completed as promised *** has ignored all phone calls from me and my tenant The initial service was done on 10/and this has not been resolved yet

Sales practices do not match the service being provided
From the very first call I made it seemed that the company was confusedI setup service to take care of a brown recluse problem and hours after setting up service, I got a call from a lady in Memphis, TN stating that she was with the regional office and that the package I signed up for doesn't take care of brown recluse spiders and that I needed to up my package, so she changed my rate - fine by me, I just wanted the problem resolved
When we finally got the tech out for the first time I asked him if he was going to be doing the "special" items that required me to have to go to the higher package which included spraying the attic, crawl space, power outlets, and various other in depth items that the lady from the Memphis office told me needed to be done and the gentlemen told me that he didn't have the equipment to do this and after telling him this same story, proceeded to work out yet another price and had me fill out a

Orkin sales representative misrepresented the several contracts I signed I did not know that "pest" does not cover all that I consider "pests." I initially contacted Orkin due to a bed bug problem and during this exceedingly stressful time ended up signing a contract for this service and also one for monthly "pest" control services I did not realize what I had done until I realized that I was paying for the bed bug (pest!)service via coupons but also for monthly "pest" control via my VISA cardAnd then termite control I have paid off the termite (pest!)service and am paying for the monthly "pest" control service via the VISA card I refuse to pay any more to a company that takes advantage of an and 91-year old couple The sales approach was confusing and unfair A pest is a pest is a pest...per Webster: a plant or animal detrimental to humans They don't divide "pest" between bed bugs, termites, cockroaches, ants, etc

Orkin was scheduled to come and treat my apartment on 3/10/and never showed upThe appointment ranged from times between 9am and 5pm which forced me to stay home and cancel all of my daily plansThey did not call to reschedule nor did they call to say that they couldn't make itThey also tried to charge me for the most expensive treatment without discussion treatment options until I complained about the price
