I cancelled my service with Orkin earlier this year The last service report that I have record of was in April They randomly showed up in early October and sprayed outside of my house when I wasn't home They contacted me in mid-October because they attempted to bill a credit card that I had cancelled They advised that I owed $135.96, and I reminded them that my service has been cancelled since Spring, which they appeared to have record of but could not explain why someone showed up in October They indicated they would call me back, but instead I received a bill in the mail today Account_Number: ***

They did not honor a cancellation of serviceThey continued to bill us and come to our home and have now sent us to collection More than 50% of service calls were made at times when we were not home and could not let the servicer in to perform all of the services promisedThey would call during work hours the day before the call and leave a messageMy husband told the service provider during a call that we want to cancel services They came again the next month, while we were not home, and then charged us the full amount

I have been happily using Orkin's pest control services for a year now, and I was very happy with our services until our last visit After one very poor visit that seemed to do absolutely nothing to alleviate the pests, I called the Branch Manager at our local branch [redacted] I spoke with the receptionist who was very kind The reason for this complaint is for my treatment by the Branch Manager, ***, who was extremely rude to me on the phone call by talking over me as I voiced my complaint to him He offered me an extra service visit, which I was not interested in As I told him, the service visit would do nothing for the $visit a month ago that did absolutely nothing for my house and I would prefer a refund or a credit towards a future visit He told me, "I am not giving you a refund." We hired orkin for our monthly pest control many years agoThrough the years we were approached By one of there employees about installing a gutter guard system to our home so my husband wounded have to clean the gutters any longerSo we purchase the system and they installed it without Delay In our agreement they would come out and clean the system as needed if it would ever become clogged with debrisThis was to be in our monthly service payment as agreed We have had the system for a few years but it has become totally inoperableI called orkin to set up appointment to have them come out and clean the gutter guard system, this was going to be done with in a two week PeriodNo one ever showed I called back and they were going to send another employee out, no one Ever showedNow we have had a significant rain storm and the gutters are overflowing into our window well and have caused water intrusion into our basementI had to hire a company to come out and extract the r

I have had numerous customer service issues with Orkin over the last year or so, with them missing appointments or charging me for service that did not occur yet On March 26th, I had my regular quarterly service for which I was billed $to my credit card Then days later, someone else came to my residence while I was not there and then I was billed another $to my credit card I live in a second floor condo, which does not really have any exterior areas to treat, so I have no idea what this person might have done other than treat areas that belong to other owners or the association I have contacted Orkin several times and asked them to credit this amount back to my credit card and that I am done with their service On the 3rd call, I was told they had credited my account and it could be used toward future service I explained to them that I would not be continuing service and wanted the credit put back on my credit card and was assured this would happen More than

Worst service I have received from any company EVER Orkin was called out for what was believed to be a roach infestation but was actually bed bugsWe were told we needed to do some prep work and that they would be back to sprayAfter doing everything exactly as they had asked the technician said he wanted to take pictures to show people how it is supposed to look and that we shouldn't see any more bugs that they would be back in two weeks to spray and kill any eggs that had hatchedThat very same day we found more bed bugs but they told us it will be a three visit process once we complainedOn the second visit they decided not to show up on the scheduled day and asked if we could rearrange for them because something "came up"We reluctantly agreedOnce again we were told we shouldn't see any more bugs but once again that same day were seeing bugsFor the third visit I called ahead and visited in person to one of the Orkin locations to schedule the treatment as we have an infant

Critter Control finally mailed invoice # [redacted] for the usual bimonthly fee of $dated 8/27/on 10/12/which I received on 10/15/ I immediately went on-line and paid the invoice by credit card However, it added a $finance charge I should not be responsible for the firm's delayed billing practice, which I'm guessing is due to recent merger problemsI called the firm's phone number only to be transferred to voice mail which indicated it was full I then tried to contact them through their web site, which was malfunctioning I did manage to leave a voice mail message the next day requesting a credit for the finance change and asked to be called back I never received a response nor has my credit card been creditedI then received another invoice (days after the first invoice)on 10/18/which was postmarked 10/15/ It indicated payment was over days and showed an interest charge of $This is a poor billing practice

Orkin was contracted via telephone on 5/26/to perform services at [redacted] on 5/27/between 10:00am-12:00pmThe services was for Pest Control at a duplex rental property with beds and bath's in each unit Orkin's technician made a call ahead of time to let me know they were running late (10:30am), and because I don't live at the property I told them to give me a call when they were close so that I can meet them there, which never happenedOnce they arrived they were knocking on the wrong door and decided to leave (I have video footage of this that the tenant was able to provide to me from the security cameras)I had to call the company and ask where the technician was because I never got a callThe technician had to turn around and come back which put us at 12:30pm (minutes past the initial service call) Once I showed the properties, the service tech told me his boss said he could only treat one unit not both because it's two sepa

Billed multiple times for services that were not rendered Three bills for three different services not provided The last service we received from Orkin for our address at [redacted] was in June We paid that bill on June 26, Several times over the course of the year we were getting services, the tech would not show up even though we had an appointment When he did this again in August 2017, I sent a letter to Orkin advising them that we no longer required their services and to cancel the bill they had sent for services not rendered In November 2017, the tech again showed up We didn't answer the door When we left later that day, we found a bill tucked into our door even though we received no services I sent Orkin another letter, dated 01/01/2018, when they sent a bill demanding payment, advising that no services were rendered, as well as reminding them that we had already canceled our services with them I talked to a rep today, 01/

Back in jan of this year we had bed bugs in our homeWE had orkin come out and do the job they charged us dollars to eliminate my home of bed bugs Before orkin came and treated my home I threw out all my furniture couches beds bedding ripped out all the carpet basically the whole house was gutted nothing in my house pictures dishes etc .After they treated my house they inspected a week later and gave us the clear to move back in So we came in and swept and vacumned before we layed the carpet and flooring finished the flooring and cleand everthing wiped down outside before it was brought back into the house and washed and dried every piece of clothing we owned before it was brought back in our homeBought new beds encasments for every bed new furniture for the living room And the first couple of days back in my home I found a live bed bug in my master bedroom called they came and sprayed .About weeeks later I found anther one in my bathroom it was dead on the wall

Orkin does not live up to their money back guarantee!! My husband and I decided to go with orkin for a sudden roach issue we have in our kitchen. They sold us on their service with a decent price and talk of treating the home successfully or giving us our money back. Here we are 2 months later and now they are rerasing our refund despite not fixing the issue. Actually it seems as if it has gotten worse. They came out numerous times within a month span and treated the homes several times by my request as I was not seeing progress. I even had the manager come out with the technician once as well. I haven't seen or heard from them in a month other thend when they sent me my next bill. When I called and spoke with the manager he refused to refund me my initial payment and actually informed me I owed another $80 bill. This company is a fraud and not only could they not do year job and fix my bug issue but they cpuldnt even own up to it and refund me my money!

I used Orkin service in 2/& since then they have not been on schedule for any appointments They pop up on non scheduled days In 8/12/I noticed that Orkin had charged my account for services When I called to report it to Orkin the Manager stated that employee out on his work order that he had performed on site service THIS WAS UNTRUE I explained to the manager that I would be reporting this fraudulent act Product_Or_Service: Extermination

I had outside only pest service done at my house in roughly late-June They did not do inside since we were remodeling so they said they come back at no cost, just call I called in August to have inside done, and an appointment was set for August 19th, 3-5pm The tech came, stayed minutes knocking the door, left a note then departed No phone call at all My wife was down the street picking up my son from school I called on Monday Aug 22d to reschedule another apt I got major ?grief? on the phone about missing the appointment, and that Orkin should not need to call you since an appointment was set Nevertheless another appointment was set for Aug26th Friday 3-5pm And on Aug 26th, no one came nor called between 3-5pm I deal with plumbers, etcwho set hour windows for schedules, but they also call Believe me, it works on both ends (when we somehow aren?t there but can come or they can?t come) I?m upset; this should not be this frustrating Every O

The exterminator came by and to spray the outside of my house without my permission two weeks agoThe bugs are coming insideI never had a problem with roachesI had the house sprayed because my daughter was small and roaches carry diseasesHe had but I didn't answer the phoneI had called the office to let know that I did not want Kenneth to returnOn several occasions he sprayed the outside of the house without spraying the inside because I was not homeHe sprayed the outside of the house in April but didn't come back until June to spray the inside

Failure to complete job as needed to take care of the problem Around may 20th we had orkin come to our home and do an inspection for what we believed to of been bed bugsThey confirmed that we had them and went over our plan optionsWe chose to do heat treatment in the active room and gel treatments in other rooms where there was signs of activityWe were informed that the that we would be charged would cover the initial treatment and two follow up treatmentsOn May 24th a gentleman came and did the initial heat and gel treatmentTold us he would see us the following two weeks for our follow up treatmentsWhen he came for the follow ups he did a very quick walk thru said there was no activity so no need to retreat but we were told originally that retreatment would be done with or without signs of activityNow take us to 9/10/and they are back and worse then everWe call the following morning since they were found on a Sunday and orkin is not open on the weeke

Issues with settling final bill After years of being a customer of Trutech Wildlife service I can no longer accept the continued declining service that I had received My bill for 4/is the last service charge and remains unpaid because of the dissatisfactory service I have received I have tried to make contact with the management Brandon Morgan, who regularly failed to return my calls previously, and have yet to hear from his senior manager [redacted] to discuss crediting this final bill I have made calls to billing and have yet to receive a call
