We are so sorry that this individual was not aware of our crowdfunding status when they selected thingCHARGERs as a holiday giftBecause crowdfunding uses the funds collected from our amazing contributors to create, manufacture, and ship our products to our supporters, there is often a delay
between the receipt of funds and the shipment of packagesWe are sorry that process wasn't clear in this case.When we learned that they had not understood, we acted quickly to try to meet their expectationsAt this time the individuals questions have been answered by our support team, they were not charged any additional funds, and our records show that their package has been delivered (January ***)We will be following up with them to ensure that their slightly late Christmas gift is a hit. We truly appreciate the amazing people who reach out to us to support a small business that is working hard to create a high quality product

We truly apologize for the confusion and frustration that this individual experiencedWe do value our early contributors and absolutely try to honor their incredible patience and supportWe respect that they were willing to stick with us through the time that it took to create, test, manufacture,
and ship a product that meets our incredibly high standards for quality. We are so happy that this individual reached out to us, both here at the Revdex.com, and directlyWe were able to uncover the source of the additional fees that they were seeing and correct the issue prior to shipping.In this case, the individual had inadvertently upgraded all of their thingCHARGER units to our Double the Power modelWithout that upgrade the final difference between the estimated cost of shipping that they paid at initial contribution and the actual cost of shipping to their location was only $3.43.They have completed that final shipping confirmation and their package is on the wayAs soon as *** logs the package into their system, we will email the individual a tracking number and *** will provide an estimated delivery date. We hope that we have resolved this individuals concerns and addressed their questionsWe are truly sorry for the confusion

We have emailed this individual to let them know that we are working on a refund.When this contributor first reached out to us they were unaware that we are still a crowdfunding campaignWith crowdfunding, many people contribute a small amount of money toward a great ideaThe inventors
take that money and turn it into a fantastic product, which we can then ship to the amazing people who supported us. Because crowdfunding uses the funds collected from our contributors to create, manufacture, and ship our products to our supporters, there is often a delay between the receipt of funds and the shipment of packages. When we learned that they were unaware of our crowdfunding status we attempted to explain our crowdfunding statusThis was not satisfactory to them, so we attempted to meet their expectations. Because of the gap that exists between contribution and shipping, we do have a final checkout form where we ask our contributors to confirm their shipping preferences and allow them to add any upgrades or tips that they might wantIn that process we do say that their package will be shipping soon, by which we mean as soon as they confirm their shipping informationHowever, this individual was not comfortable with that process and following that email, contacted the Revdex.com. We acted as quickly as we could to try to meet their expecations and resolve their concernsAs at this time they would prefer a refund, that is what we will do. We are very sorry, but hope that we have resolved the issue to their satisfaction

ignored, we have a record of our back and forth conversations with himWe find it unfortunate when there is a misunderstanding, and our Contributor Care team responded the next morning and offered a free upgrade for the confusion he and his wife experiencedUltimately the individual wanted a refund and one was processed without delayAt the time of the advertisement he mentioned, thingCHARGER was still in the crowdfunding phaseOur website, the video, and our FAQ’s all explained thisOur phone number does have a voicemail for individuals to leave messages which are checked and responded to dailyThe outgoing message is set up to refer individuals to our email as this is our most efficient method of communicationOur entire team is made up of a group of people who are extremely committed to getting thingCHARGER out to all of our contributors this summerWe also provide weekly updates in the form of a live hangout, which are then archived so that supporters are able to stay in touch with our latest progressEvery Friday at pm EST we provide a new update and answer supporter questions at ***

purchasing a product but only supporting a fundraising to launch a product.

When the individual first contacted us with his original questions we responded to him within minutes and continued to work with him to resolve the issue. We always feel bad when people end up in our campaign without realizing our crowdfunding status, and we always work with them to
provide the best possible outcomeIn this case the individual wanted a refund and we processed one right away.At the time of the advertisement he mentioned, thingCHARGER was still in the crowdfunding phaseOur website, the video, and our FAQ’s all explained this. We have information about this on the website in the form of the promotional video that auto plays at the top of the webpage and in the FAQ's as well as in our terms and conditionsWe also explain this during the payment process with a statement that says: Contribute now to our pre-launch campaign and receive thingCHARGER(s) as an awesome thank-you perk from us when we ship

We are terribly sorry that this individual was unable to reach usOur system shows our first contact from this individual as arriving to us on January *** and we replied to them the same day. They were able to finalize their shipping information on January ***Our tracking information shows
that their package was delivered on January ***, the same day that they filed this complaint.Hopefully, this complaint was filed early in the day, prior to deliveryWe have reached out to the individual to confirm that they have received their thingCHARGERs and to follow up with them on this issueIf they have not, we would be happy to locate their package and ensure that they receive it

In today's world of instant ability to get products and service ( in many cases ) thingCharger falls flat If they would spend half as much developing inventory and logistics as they do doing marketing, they could sell their product and deliver it on a reasonable time frameSadly, that is not the caseI ordered mine about a month before Xmas and now learn it will get it some time in There are competing products on the market by the way

We paid for this product, based on advertising on *** that made it appear that this product was already available, only to find out after not receiving it for several months that this was a "crowdsourcing" campaignThey could not offer a shipment date for the product that was already paid for by claiming that they were in production, only to find them available at *** *** and *** in DecemberI did request a refundFirst, they offered an "upgrade," which was a ridiculous offer of a charger with "surge protection"-- no thanks-- and ultimately did provide the refundBut even if this was a crowdsourcing campaign, a company should provide the product to their funders first, not to *** ***Dishonest and irresponsible

We received this individuals return to our warehouse at 2:39PM on Friday, January ***Due to this individuals frustration, we are offering them a refund of $-- the full cost of their perk package, less the costs of shipping which are charged by an outside shipping vendor.That return was processed today, January ***, and should be placed into the individuals account by their banking institution in 3-business days. thingCHARGERs do work as advertised when used correctlyThe tips must be adjusted by pressing a button on the back of the unit and moving the tip until the device being charged rests securely on the thingCHARGER unitThe tips were designed to be adjustable to accomodate different devices and casesWe are very sorry that this individual was not able to adjust the tips to their satisfaction. This individual received all parts of their perk packageThe package that they selected was a Choose 3, Get Free packageThis package comes with thingCHARGER units with microUSB tips included standard and with Apple Lightning tips added for free as a special perk for our supportersWe are not able to package a free Lightning tip with the free thingCHARGER unit, due to the cost of the Lightning tipsWe are sorry about this, but it simply isn't feasible at this time. We do provide an opportunity to add additional tips prior to shipment if our supporters so chooseThis individual did not, and a complete summary of the contents of their package was listed on their shipping confirmation pageWe are very sorry that they did not receive everything that they would have liked. We are also sorry that this individual did not receive his products as quickly as he would have likedWe make several shipping speeds available and this individual selected standard shipping directly prior to the Christmas holidayShipping near the holidays is usually slower and we are sorry that this was the case for this individual.This individual will receive their refund as soon as their banking institution processes it to their accountWe understand that this was not the exact resolution that they were looking for, given that we are not able to refund the cost of shipping, and we do apologize for the frustration and upset that they have experiencedWe hope that our willingness to expedite their return and our refund of their full package value will help

I ordered units, with two free on November ** When I checked on delivery on 12/**, I was told I needed to complete the order WHAT??? I thought it was complete
As I pressed the issue for Christmas delivery, I was told the shipping slip had been delivered to Fedex I checked with Fedex and yes, they had the delivery slip but not the product As of today, thingcharger sent an email saying it was being shipped today with arrival on 12/**
I realize they are a start up company, but they need to iron out these problems if they want people to support them

Right now we are shipping to our earliest contributors -- those who supported us in and We are trying to ship in the order in which people contributed, to honor those early supportersHowever, when a supporter truly did not understand crowdfunding or is very impatient, we do attempt to work with them to find a solution that will make them happy. At this time we have shipped over 100,thingCHARGERs and we continue to work to find ways to ship even more quickly. We do include our crowdfunding status in our videos, but we are very sorry that it was missed and we are truly sorry for this individuals frustration with the process.We hope that they understand that we were unable to assist them with a refund while their dispute was active with their bankWhich isthe only reason that we suggested that they close that dispute -- so that we could return their money to them more quicklyWe are grateful that they were willing to work with us to allow us to refund them more quickly

Revdex.com:Just wanted to let you know regarding ThingCharger's response that when the their product first came out, there was nothing indicated by them that their product would not work in the GFi outlet. Yes, now there is, I agree to that. But, I was not informed about this when I bought the product.
