They did not respond to my initial email inquiry in December They say that they did, but I never received a response until I filed this Revdex.com complaint I have not received the products yet although they are apparently on the way I do not want to have this issue closed until the items are received to my satisfaction.Thank you!

We are very sorry that our initial response was not satisfactoryWe wanted to offer an explanation of our crowdfunding process and offer to fulfill our commitment to getting this individual the thingCHARGER that they had initially requestedWe apologize for not understanding that their goal was an immediate refund. It looks like they completed the final checkout process and requested shipment of their package on January ***Like most companies, we cannot issue a refund after a package has shipped, but we would be happy to assist the individual with a return. First I would like to thank this individual for supporting thingCHARGER. At the time this response is written thingCHARGER is a crowdfunding campaignCrowdfunding is where amazing supporters are able to help fund the creation of the product that an inventor has created.
People like Seymour and his wife Amy, who invented thingCHARGER in their basement, bring ideas and ask for help bringing them to market. Supporters are then able to contribute to our project and once the product is made we will send you the thingCHARGERs you selectedthingCHARGER is shipping to the supporters in the order they have joined--so there is always a lag time between when a crowdfunding campaign bills you and when you receive your items

I received a thingcharger as a giftInside and all over the packaging the item directs you to *** to register your product for a lifetime warranty, a free bonus adapter tip and a free chance to win a macbook, chromebook, or MS surface The link, ***, is not a functioning website The company's main website *** is also not a functioning website This feels to me like a starter company that went nowhere and now the product support is non-existent A quick search shows that *** experienced 1-visitors a day from about April of through July of and hasn't received any traffic since Be cautious about this company and product

At the time of this response the individual’s thingCHARGERs have been deliveredThe shipping method that was used to send this package is called *** Home deliveryThe package is packed at our facility in Las Vegas and then transported to Los Angeles for processing and shipmentThis uses a combination of *** and *** to deliver the packages in the most cost effective waythingCHARGER was only available in Sam’s club in very limited amountsThis was a test run by our licensee and manufacturer PInternationalthingCHARGER has not been available in Costco or in As Seen on TV stores

We have done a thorough search of our email database and have only found one email from this individualThat email was received yesterday and was answered yesterday, prior to receiving this complaint from the Revdex.com, with an invitation to confirm their shipping information and have
their perk package shipped to them immediately.We additionally reviewed our entire voicemail call log for the month of January and were unable to locate any messages from this individual.We are, however, very sorry that we did not receive their attempt to contact us in January. At this time we have called and left a voicemail message and have emailed them twice, once in response to their email message to us yesterday where we attempted to answer their questions and confirm their shipping information, and once to follow up on this complaint to continue to address their concerns. As we explained to this individual in our last email to them, thingCHARGER is still a crowdfunding campaign.In crowdfunding, an inventor comes up with a cool ideaThey take that idea to the internetThere, many people each contribute a small amount of money towards turning that idea into a realityThe inventor takes that money and uses it to create and manufacture the productThen they ship it back out to all the people who supported them.Seymour and Amy started thingCHARGER back in as an idea in their basement and we started started shipping at the end of This process, and the time that it takes, are part of why there has been a delay in shipping their items.We finished shipping to our and contributors at the end of January and are working our way through our supporters nowWe are trying hard to ship to our contributors in the order that they supported us, in honor of their patience.We are thrilled to be able to ship to this person now and have simply requested that they confirm their shipping information, either via the form that we emailed to them yesterday or by simply replying to our email today In case these emails are not reaching them, we will continue to follow up with them via telephone to try to confirm their shipping information and to answer any other questions or concerns that they might have

We are very sorry for this individuals frustrationOn February ***, the same day that they filed this complaint, they contacted us via email requesting a refundWe had already begun that refund process and had emailed them to let them know, prior to receiving this complaint. We would like
this individual to know that there is a delay between when they file a complaint with the Revdex.com and when the company in question receives that complaint.It seems as though this individual was not aware of our weekly update via hangout video that we have been making available to our contributors for over a year now on our websiteWe are sorry about thatIf our supporters are unable to locate that on our website, we encourage them to use the contact us button and we would be happy to email them a link.At our earliest supporters request, we do not send out mass emails. However it does seem from their emails to us that they were aware of our crowdfunding status and of the delay between contribution and shipping.With crowdfunding, an inventor takes a good idea to the internetThere, many people contribute a small amount of money towards making that idea into a realityThe inventor then takes that money and uses it to create, manufacture, and ship the productWhen the product is ready, it is then shipped out to all the people who supported its creation, as a thank-you gift.Because of that process, there is usually a lag between when contributions are received and when perk packages are shippedThis can feel frustrating, but it is a part of crowdfunding. It seems that this individual was simply not comfortable waiting, so we are processing their refund

I ordered the Thingcharger on the *** of October That was the first time they heard from me When I had not heard anything from them in approximately two weeks, I emailed them and got no response I then called them and got a message that I could best reach them by email I tried emailing them again and received no response I called again and got the same message, that it was best to contact them by email As I thought about it I decided that four times of trying to contact them was enough I had ordered the thingcharger in October as a Christmas present and it was unacceptable that after attempted contacts they had not responded and I had no idea about whether I would receive the item in time for ChristmasI then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com The following day I heard back from the company for the first time They told me that they were crowd funded and swamped with unexpected orders and that I would not receive the object until February None of this was on their commercials or on their website so I had no idea of this until after I filed the complaint I agreed to accept an upgrade and receive the object in February After seeing their statement that I did not contact them until Dec I am no longer willing to give any of my money to this company I will accept my order being cancelled but nothing less

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved The company did contact me via email and did offer to ship my product, although there was no estimated ship date I'm going to assume that I will receive it before the end of this month Jan compared to the current original ship date showing on their website as June or July if If I don't receive it in a reasonable amount of time (before Feb ***) I will file another complaint with Revdex.com I heard about Thingcharger from pop up while playing in the "Words with friends" App At no time did the video that was presented about the company or during the purchasing process did the company say they were a crowdfunding company and that I would need to wait almost months for my product If this was made clearer in the video that was created to market the company, then I would not have had an issue with my order

We are very sorry that this individual has experienced difficulty adjusting the charging tips to their satisfactionThe charging tips are adjustable to accomodate casesWe have attempted to trouble-shoot the issue with them and have offered to walk them through the process over the phone, but they
would prefer to return their package at this time. We are, of course, happy to process a return for them and have sent them the return address and policy regarding restockingWe happily offer a full lifetime warranty and will offer a complete refund for any product that is actually not working to specification following inspection of the item.If they would like to allow us to assist them with adjusting the tips on their thingCHARGER so that the devices that they are charging will rest securely on the unit and charge correctly, we would be happy to help them with that as well. We have been in email contact with this individual regarding their concerns and will continue to work with them to resolve the issue

was not aware of our crowdfunding status when they first contributed to our campaignWhile we try to make our crowdfunding status clear both in our advertising videos and on our website, we are sincerely sorry when it is missed. As we were happy to explain to this individual, with crowdfunding, many people contribute a small amount of money toward a great ideaThe inventors take that money and turn it into a fantastic product, which we can then ship to the people who supported usBecause crowdfunding uses the funds provided by our contributors to create, manufacture, and ship our products to our supporters, there is often a delay between the receipt of funds and the shipment of packages. When we learned that this individual had not understood our crowdfunding status, we attempted to explain and offered to try to meet their expectationsHowever, they were uncomfortable with our final checkout process and have stated that they initiated a dispute with their credit card company. When this happens, the credit card company puts a hold on the transaction, and we are not able to place funds back into their account during the investigation.Once we receive the notification from the system on the status of the charge back we will go from thereIf the charge back was accepted, then there is no further action from us as they will have already received their fundsIf the charge back is declined, we will happily process a refund for them.We hope that we can assist them in resolving this to their satisfaction by offering them a refund and ask that they please contact us directly, by returning our email to them or emailing us at ***, if they believe that their credit card dispute is no longer active, so that we can begin that process

I ordered four thingchargers in November hat I never received! I can't get any response from anyone I did receive another email today that says my order is ready to ship, but after looking at the link, it was wanting me to donate more to their campaign or order more items
