As soon as their package was returned to our warehouse, we inspected it and processed the return.When this contributor first reached out to us they were unaware that we are still a crowdfunding campaign. a small amount of money toward a great idea. The inventors take that money and turn it into a fantastic product, which we can then ship to the amazing people who supported us. Because crowdfunding uses the funds collected from our contributors to create, manufacture, and ship our products to our supporters, there is often a delay between the receipt of funds and the shipment of packages. When we learned that they were unaware of our crowdfunding status, we acted as quickly as we could to try to meet their expectations and resolve their concerns. Unfortunately, we were unable to do so quickly enough and they have requested a return and refund. This individual has been refunded and their banking institution will credit their account. We are very sorry, but hope that we have resolved the issue to their satisfaction.We encourage anyone who is concerned about their package, or has any questions, to contact us directly at [email protected]

We received this individuals return to our warehouse at 2:39PM on Friday, January [redacted]. Due to this individuals frustration, we are offering them a refund of $119.70 -- the full cost of their perk package, less the costs of shipping which are charged by an outside shipping vendor.That return was processed today, January [redacted], and should be placed into the individuals account by their banking institution in 3-5 business days. thingCHARGERs do work as advertised when used correctly. The tips must be adjusted by pressing a button on the back of the unit and moving the tip until the device being charged rests securely on the thingCHARGER unit. The tips were designed to be adjustable to accomodate different devices and cases. We are very sorry that this individual was not able to adjust the tips to their satisfaction. This individual received all parts of their perk package. The package that they selected was a Choose 3, Get 1 Free package. This package comes with 4 thingCHARGER units with microUSB tips included standard and with 3 Apple Lightning tips added for free as a special perk for our supporters. We are not able to package a free Lightning tip with the free thingCHARGER unit, due to the cost of the Lightning tips. We are sorry about this, but it simply isn't feasible at this time. We do provide an opportunity to add additional tips prior to shipment if our supporters so choose. This individual did not, and a complete summary of the contents of their package was listed on their shipping confirmation page. We are very sorry that they did not receive everything that they would have liked. We are also sorry that this individual did not receive his products as quickly as he would have liked. We make several shipping speeds available and this individual selected standard shipping directly prior to the Christmas holiday. Shipping near the holidays is usually slower and we are sorry that this was the case for this individual.
This individual will receive their refund as soon as their banking institution processes it to their account. We understand that this was not the exact resolution that they were looking for, given that we are not able to refund the cost of shipping, and we do apologize for the frustration and upset that they have experienced. We hope that our willingness to expedite their return and our refund of their full package value will help.

We are very sorry that we did not receive this individuals email in January. We truly believe that they sent it, but it simply isn't showing up in our system. Again, we responded to the email that we received last Friday right away and responded again both by email and phone to their initial Better Business Complaint and to this request for further action. As soon as we became aware that this individual was dissatisfied, we attempted to resolve the situation.It looks like they were able to get their shipping information confirmed and that the actual difference in the cost of shipping only came to $2.30. Although we did offer to skip that confirmation step, and offered to cover the slight difference in the cost of shipping ourselves, it does not appear that they wished to do that at this time. We have provided them with a tracking number for their package. We have attempted to telephone them again today, as well as contacted them via email regarding this and would be happy to speak to them to try to resolve their concerns at any time.

I find that this resolution of issuing the credit to my credit card is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I would strongly suggest that the Revdex.com look further into this businesses practices as there have been many other complaints from other consumers regarding the same practice of taking money for a product which they cannot provide and doing so without proper notice. be mailed soon.  An arrival date was not indicated.  The email , received 1/*/16, read as follows:   Congratulations on getting your thingCHARGERs!   Here is your information about shipping: As soon as your shipment is on the truck, we will send your [redacted] tracking number. Please allow a day or two for your email and remember trucks are not loaded on weekends. From the moment it is put on the truck to head your way, we will send updates to your email to let you know.  And when it is delivered to your door--you will be alerted immediately.

This company is lying about their "crowdfunding" status.  There was NOTHING in their online video that indicated they were crowdfunding.   They represented it as a product you could buy immediately.   I have contributed to crowdfunding in the past but it was always completely obvious and you were specifically told you wouldnt receive the product immediately until the campaign was successful.  These people are cheating the public and it is a shame.  They are now wanting me to go back to my credit card company"undispute" the charge and then they are claiming they will refund the money, since I no longer want the product.   How can I trust they will do that?  When I made my original complaint, they suddenly offered to ship the product after over 4 months.  It seems to me, they are only shipping product to those who complain.  And then they try to get you to upgrade to an even more expensive unit.  Again, how do you know if you give them even more money, that you will actually receive the product.   I feel like it is a LOSE / LOSE situation.  I have NEVER had such problems with a product I purchased on line before.   Shameful.

We are happy to ship to this individual. We've sent a brief email asking them to confirm their shipping address and as soon as we get that verified we will get their thingCHARGER headed their way.In honor of their patience and trust, we have been shipping to our supporters in the order in...

which they supported our crowdfunding campaign. We began shipping thingCHARGERs to our earliest crowdfunding supporters at the end of 2015 and wrapped up fulfillment of our 2013 and 2014 supporters at the end of January.  We are working our way through our 2015 supporters quickly and are happy to help this individual get their thingCHARGER right away. We know that they will love the way they turned out - beautiful and top quality.

We are very sorry that this person did not receive our response to their December [redacted] email. We did reply at that time and we cannot be certain why that response did not reach them. Ocassionally emails to our supporters do get caught in spam filters and we are very frustrated when this occurs. At this time we are creating a process to continue to follow up with our supporters when we do not hear back from them after we respond their questions to ensure that they have received our response and that they are satisfied with the outcome. We hope that it will help to prevent problems like this one in the future. Again, we are very sorry that they did not receive that December response.We are continuing to follow up with this individual and have provided them with tracking information for their package via email. filed.    At the time of this transaction, thingCHARGER was still a crowdfunding campaign. Our website, the video, and our FAQ’s all explained this.    thingCHARGER is a small startup with a team of people who are extremely committed to getting thingCHARGER to all of our contributors. We began shipping September [redacted] 2015 and have continued to ship as fast as we can.

Our records show that the individual first contacted us on
