Review: I purchased tickets on line from ticketliquidator.com for an NHL hockey game. I received a phone call reporting the sale did not go through as the particular tickets were no longer available. I then purchased different tickets. However, I was charged for BOTH orders. When I called I was told it was a "preliminary" charge. Both charges were taken out of my checking account. I was then told I would be refunded in 5-7 days. I did not give this company permission to keep my $447 for 5-7 days and should not have been charged for something I did not purchase. When I asked the name of the company, the employee on the line gave me a different name ("[redacted]"). I then had to ask 6 times where they were located and she finally said "Vernon". I had to ask 3 more times what state they were in before she said "Connecticut". [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want the company to know about this report!

Review: I contacted the customer help for an explanation to the shipping fee being charged. I was informed by [redacted] that the fee is auto populated according to the FedEx website. However, to obtain a quote you must have both the sending and receiving address. All of the delivery fees being charged are flat fees. Shipping two paper tickets does not cost $15. It would appear as if they are skimming money off of the shipping price from customers. In addition to the company charging the shipping fee, they do not hold the ticket so shipping is not performed by them. The seller has every right to use any shipper they wish.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

They need an interactive system that actually quotes shipping charges to avoid scamming customers out of extra money

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/07/02) */

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

Unfortunately we are unable to find an order that was placed by Mr. [redacted], nor are we familiar with a [redacted] however we can still address his concerns related to the delivery fees. The FedEx delivery fee is a flat rate of $15 through the website. Since the FedEx rate may differ depending on the location of the seller and the location of the buyer the price may be higher or lower than $15. To make everything even, the website has instigated a flat rate of $15 for all delivery fees regardless of location. In some cases, shipping fees are reduced if tickets can be transmitted electronically but this is not always an option.

If Mr. [redacted] has more concerns that are specific to his order we'd be glad to assist however we require that he include an order number in his response so we can better address these issues.

Review: On the evening of 12/17 using a [redacted] Debit card I ordered 4 tickets through [redacted].com for an event to be held in [redacted] on 1/23/2015. Upon review of my order I realized that I had made the order in error and immediately called and emailed the ticket company to cancel and requested a refund. I called again in the morning of 12/18.

and was told to dial customer support since the order had not yet processed. This I did and left a follow-up message. I received an email at 2:34 PM on 12/18 starting stating that all sales were final and that I would not be able to cancel the order or receive a refund even though the order had not been processed.

I called my bank to see how this could be resolved and they stated that a dispute can only be filed after the payment has been processed. The bank stated that the vendor is perfectly capable of reversing/cancelling the charges before the payment is processed. It is now the third business day and the order has not yet processed. I do not hold any tickets. I have received a follow-up e-mail threatening legal action and credit report defamation if I try to dispute, siting a contractual issue that I allegedly made in purchasing the tickets.Desired Settlement: A desired outcome would be for [redacted] to cancel the order and the charge against my bank account for $209.22.

[redacted], Inc. provides customer service to [redacted]com where Mr.

[redacted] placed his order. We take customer service seriously and appreciate

the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted] concerns.

According to our customer service records, Mr. [redacted]

placed his order on [redacted]com on December 17, 2015. Please be advised

that [redacted]com acts as an intermediary between ticket buyers and sellers

and does not own or possess any of the tickets listed for sale. Our records

show that Mr. [redacted] contacted the Customer Service department on the

following day and requested a fund for his purchase, and a customer service

representative explained that he would not be issued a refund per the All Sales

Final policies. The representative explained these terms and conditions, which

Mr. [redacted] was also required to read and agree to before finalizing his

order on the site. These terms state:

General [redacted]com

acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET

SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as

such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the

buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE

are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by

the individual ticket seller, the prices for tickets may be above or below face

value. Tickets sold through SITE are from a third party; therefore, the buyer's

name will not be printed on the tickets. Please note that the name on the

tickets does not affect the buyer's ability to access the event.

All sales are final Since tickets are a one-of-a-kind item and not replaceable, there

are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. If an event is postponed or

rescheduled, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. New tickets will

not need to be issued. If an event is cancelled without a rescheduled date,

USER will need to contact the FULFILLER for a refund. The FULFILLER may require

USER to return the supplied tickets at USER'S expense before receiving any

refund USER is entitled to due to cancellation. SITE is not responsible for

providing or securing this refund for USER. Any shipping and handling charges

are not refundable. Refunds will be processed in the same currency as the

original order. Conversion charges, including though not exhaustive of the ones

issued by USER'S bank, if any, are not covered by [redacted]com or Fulfiller.

Neither SITE nor the FULFILLER will issue exchanges or refunds after a purchase

has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. When USER

receives tickets, USER should keep them in a safe place. Please note that

direct sunlight or heat may damage tickets.

The payment for this order was processed and the E-Tickets

were provided by the seller on December 21, 2015. Mr. [redacted] received the E-Tickets

that he confirmed to purchase and did in fact order online, which he downloaded

on December 22, 2015. As Mr. [redacted] stated in his complaint, he made the

order in error, but he was able to review the details of the order for the tickets

before placing it. Mr. [redacted] freely-chosen acceptance of the terms and

conditions indicates that he did make a conscious and educated decision to

purchase these tickets. There is no refund due. We hope this fully explains the

matter.

Review: I purchased concert tickets through ticket network which then outsourced it to [redacted]. What I paid for my tickets ended up being more than double what others were able to buy the exact same tickets for. It is for a lawn area so there aren't assigned seats. I contacted Ice Cold first on 6/15 and received a rude response. Since then I have sent multiple emails to both agencies asking for a supervisor to contact me including emails on 6/15, 6/17, 6/19, 6/21, 6/23, 6/24, 6/25, 6/26, and 7/1. To date I have not had a contact from a supervisor from either agency. None of my issues have been addressed.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the difference in what I paid versus what I could have paid through a different company. I do have proof of what I could have paid and the difference is approximately $80 for all 3 tickets. As a second option they can give a significant upgrade to my tickets such as being in the pit level. I want an apology from both companies and a change in their customer service so that multiple request aren't ignored.

I am rejecting this response because:

Review: I was purchasing tickets for an event at the [redacted] arts center. I was in the [redacted] web site, and somehow got redirected to a ticket broker. The change was not obvious. It still looked like I was at the [redacted] site. When I completed my order, I noticed on the confirmation page that I was charged a "service fee" of $103!!! I immediately called their customer support and asked them to cancel the order, but they refused. The agent spoke about no refunds or cancellations , but I can not afford to give them this money. I called them immediately. I feel that they are using a deceptive practice.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of the purchase.

Review: I WOULD STRONGLY URGE NOT TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! I was under the understanding this was I was sitting in a different section than I was anticipating to be in. When I called to complain, they said "THEY ARE NON REFUNDABLE NOTHING CAN BE DONE". I believe this was misleading the consumer when you buy tickets. They are intentionally leaving things unclear on the website so as you are hooked in, nothing can be done. All the person said is if I had called to ensure where the seats were, they would have told be. BUT BY THAT POINT THEY WERE ALREADY BOUGHT!!!! Please consumer beware. They are a second selling company and the tickets are already at a higher price. According to what they told me, I could have paid over $100 for tickets behind the stage at the concert and would not have been able to see a thing!!! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!Desired Settlement: I wanted an exchange for a different section.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take

our customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms.

[redacted]’s concerns.

According to our customer service records, Ms. [redacted]

contacted our sales department on 09/25/2015 alleging that she received tickets

for the wrong section. She claimed that she ordered tickets for sections

101-122 and that she should have received tickets for one of these sections

rather than section 103, which she said was all the way on the side. Our

customer service representative advised Ms. [redacted] that 101-122 means ‘101

through 122’ and that she received tickets for the section she selected in her

order. Our records indicate that Ms. [redacted] selected tickets with the following

description:

Venue: [redacted]

Section: 101-122 Row: 1-35

Price: $90 each Qty: 4

When Ms. [redacted] was completing her purchase, she was

provided with numerous opportunities to review her purchase before completing

it to verify that she was in fact purchasing these tickets. We regret that Ms.

[redacted] is dissatisfied with her purchase. However, she willingly chose to

purchase tickets for Section 101-122 and received tickets within that section.

No refund will be provided.

Review: we purchased tickets from ticketliquidators on line for a concert in [redacted],mn on sunday October 20.2013, and these tickets cost us 400.00 each, they said they were upgrading our seats. we enjoyed the concert, however, as we spoke to people around us, they spent 80.00 for the same seating area. We called ticketliquidators and said we were not happy with being charged the price we were charged for the seats we ended up with, and the representative said "we are not scalpers" and I replied that I would put it on the internet about you company and he replied "go ahead and blasphemous us and we will get our attorneys involved" Our understanding (which we may be wrong) is you can't sell tickets over the face value...guessing its a lesson learned. A person cant sell a ticket over face value, how is a company allowed too?Desired Settlement: credit our account to a point of actual price, we know about fees and that's fine..$100.00 a ticket is fine, with fees...but $400 each for 2...unreal to us...

When I printed out the receipt, it said the 17th. I contacted the seller about 14hours after the purchase and asked them to cancel the sale so I could buy the tickets for the correct day. Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted] concerns.

Mr. [redacted] did speak, via email, with his ticket seller directly who offered to refund his purchase, however Mr.[redacted] followed up with, "You can just send the tickets and I will take off work. They are awesome seats and the orioles should have a good season." Further, Mr.[redacted] completed this purchase through his own computer rather than placing his order over the phone with a customer service representative.

Mr.[redacted] was also required to read and agree to that website's terms and policies which clearly state:

General. Tickets-Center.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual ticket seller, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

Further in this series of emails between Mr.[redacted] and his ticket seller he continues to make accusations that the sale and the website's terms and policies are illegal. Despite being provided a resolution to his initial issue Mr.[redacted] declined that offer and then continued to file this complaint with the Revdex.com.

Since Mr.[redacted] was offered a refund and declined we feel that this complaint should be closed accordingly.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/04/08) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Their was no full refund offered. They offered to switch the tickets to the day I wanted for an additional fee of $18. The complaint is really focused on the fact that they do not allow returns within the three days of purchase that they are required to do. That matter is glossed over in their answer. It is my understanding that items sold in the U.S. that have not been used can be returned within three days of purchase. This is the heart of my complaint. I have taken off a day of work to make the tickets work and I have accepted that. It does not make the company policy legal.

Review: I had purchased tickets to "[redacted]" 05/26/2015 concert [redacted] with my credit card on 03/25/15 on line and lost my printed E-tickets. I went to [redacted] website to find out how to print new tickets & it took me to [redacted] web site. I didn't realize then that I had previously purchased tickets from [redacted] not [redacted]. I explained to the representative I had a charge on my credit card on 03/25/15 for the purchase & just needed to re-print the tickets.I was told he could see the original purchase was never completed. When I asked why there was a charge to my card I was told there should be a credit for the uncompleted purchase and I needed to do a new purchase, since the 03/25/15 purchase was never completed, so I did another purchase over the phone on 05/19/15 for $122.50. Immediately after that phone call I contacted my credit card company to see why there wasn't a credit for the original charge of $149 0n 03/25/15. This is when I learned there was no credit because the original purchase was with [redacted] not [redacted]. I then called [redacted] literally minutes after the phone purchase to explain the mix up & request a refund/credit for my phone order & I was told they won't refund or credit me back as all their sales are final. If they had been honest & not misled me about the "so called" uncompleted purchase in the first place I would not have bought more tickets. Since the original purchase, as I now know, was with an entirely different company their statements that "I had a credit back for that purchase & it was never completed" were just simply not true & I expect a full refund & will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge.Desired Settlement: Refund/Credit for $122.50 to my Credit Card.

Review: We and many others have been victims of deception by this company. Intended to buy direct from venue, instead bought from this secondary commpany

Official-online-tickets.com, mytickettracker.com and ticketnetwork.com are all linked somehow. This is a secondary ticket market. However, they are preying on people who are trying to buy tickets directly from the venue for face value. They have purchased website names and have sites that mimic every major venue in the country. When people search for the venue to buy tickets directly they end up on this secondary, inflated ticket price website. If the consumer is not careful and read all the small buried print they will purchase tickets and never know that they just purchased severely over inflated tickets from this company. When the consumer clicks on the website, they believe they are going to the real website of the venue which they trust (and maybe have purchased from before). It is this trust that this company is banking on since when you trust you are less careful and maybe don't read all the small print. Yes, this happened to us and to many others (hundreds) who have complained. Of course we found this out after the fact. This company is using very deceptive and misleading business practices to sell their tickets to unsuspecting consumers. Please contact me for more details. We were trying to buy tickets from the Verizon Amphitheater in St. Louis directly and ended up buying from these deceptive people who have yelled and screamed at me on the phone when I wanted to cancel and get a refund. (The site says 100% money back guarantee) I wouldn't doubt if they have covered themselves legally in all the small print but there is nothing legal about fraud and deceptive business practices. Please stop this from happening to consumers all across the country. Consumers are begging for someone to do something about this. Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund AND I would like this company investigated for deceptive business practices. They need to stop using the venue name for their websites and clearly identify themselves as who they are in the very first description of their website (before even getting to the first page). The website that comes up on the list when searching should be ticketnetwork.com with a description that says "secondary ticket market company". Instead their website comes up on the list as the name of the venue and doesn't say anything about secondary tickets. In fact, it leads you to believe that they are the official website.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our customer service records, Ms. [redacted] placed her order from the website www.Official-Online-Tickets.com. This website is not owned, operated, or managed by TicketNetwork. Ms. [redacted]'s only connection to TicketNetwork is through the tickets that she is receiving. TicketNetwork's customer service department, which is referred to as My Ticket Tracker is the ticket seller responsible for fulfilling her order and have done so in accordance with the delivery method Ms. [redacted] selected upon completing her order.

Additionally, when Ms. [redacted] placed her order she was required to read and agree to that website's policies which state:

General. Official-Online-Tickets.net acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

Ms. [redacted] has been informed of this information on multiple occasions through calls and emails with our customer service department however she has still filed this complaint with the Revdex.com. Since most of her concerns are regarding the website where she placed her order we are requesting that this matter be closed since TicketNetwork has provided her with her tickets in a timely and professional manner with no cause for a refund.

TicketNetwork.com acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS.

Above Face Value

Tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through secondary market TICKET SELLERS and are being resold, in many cases, above the price or "face value" listed on the ticket. All ticket prices include additional service charges and handling fees as defined on each order. SITE and its TICKET SELLERS are not directly affiliated with any performer, sports team, or venue; and SITE does not act as a primary sale box office, unless otherwise stated. By agreeing to these TERMS, USER agrees that the purchase price for tickets on their order does not reflect the original purchase price of the ticket and may be either higher or lower than the original purchase price.

The website terms and conditions were available to Mr. [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the site. If Mr. [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that states "I agree to the Terms & Conditions," the software would have removed him from the checkout page and he would not have been able to go on to complete his order. Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to him before he gave his credit card information and completed his order. Mr. [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending his final order for processing.

At no time before placing his order did Mr. [redacted] contact our Customer Service Department with any questions or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditions. If he was unsure about the order he was placing, he was free to call the Customer Service Department at the readily available number or to comparison shop at other sites before finalizing his order.

Mr. [redacted] was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.TicketNetwork.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Mr. [redacted]' freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that he did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price he agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Review: I ordered Wicked Tickets through the Ticketnetwork in the winter of 201. My credit card was charged $1330.20 and I didn't get my tickets. I called and emailed the ticket seller and the Ticketnetwork and I was told sales are final but I would be getting my tickets. I explained I didn't think it was right for them to take all my money and not send me the tickets in a reasonable period of time. I contacted both of them again 1/2014 and was told the same thing. I called again in Feb since the show was 3/8. I was told the same thing. 1 week before the event, I got a call saying I would not be getting my tickets! I called Ticketnetwork and with 1 week before the event, only 10 tickets were available and I needed 8. I was told I would have to buy 9 tickets because they couldn't "split" them. These tickets cost ALOT more but since I promised my office I would take them to Wicked, I bought them. I received an email confirmation and the next day I was sent a Fed Ex tracking # saying my tickets had shipped. A day later I got another phone call saying I wasn't getting my tickets. I was also told the Fed Ex Email was "automated". I ended up getting different tickets again, although at least this reseller gave me a discount.Desired Settlement: I believe the Ticketnetwork can't hide behind them being just a "reseller". The "service" they gave me was horrible. They didn't bother to check with the ticket seller to see why it was taking him so long to send me my tickets. Two orders for tickets cancelled and I ended up paying $3489 for my tickets instead of the original $1330. Under the circumstances, I feel Ticketnetwork does not deserve to charge me $680 in service fees!!!!

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this

matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like

to take the time to address Mr. Fujimura's concerns.

When Mr. Fujimura placed his original

order from his computer at the website, www.TicketNetwork.com, he was obliged

to review his order and accept that website’s terms and conditions before his

order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

TicketNetwork.com

("SITE") acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers

("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event

tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale

transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. Tickets sold through SITE

are from a third party; therefore, the buyer's name will not be printed on the

tickets. Please note that the name on the tickets does not affect the buyer's

ability to access the event.

Ticket Availability

SITE cannot guarantee ticket

availability until USER is in possession of their tickets. Generally, all

ticket listings on SITE are a unique set of tickets from an individual TICKET

SELLER. Some ticket listings on SITE may only be representations of available

tickets and not actual seat locations or currently available tickets.

Occasionally tickets ordered

may no longer be available at the price or in the quantity originally ordered

at the time the order is received. If equivalent or better seat locations are

available at the same price, the TICKET SELLER will fill the order with the

alternative seat locations. If no alternates are available, either the USER's

credit card will not be charged at all or the entire amount will be refunded,

and USER will be notified that the ticket request has been rejected.

Unfortunately, since Mr.

Fujimura ordered a large quantity of tickets it was determined that his order

could not be filled by the ticket seller and was then refunded 125% of his

original purchase price due to this inconvenience. Mr. Fujimura then placed two

separate orders to fulfill the large ticket request he needed and was provided

with those tickets in time for the event on March 8.

Although situations like Mr.

Fujimura's are rare, we do have this listed in the terms and policies which the

customer must red and agree to before completing their order. Additionally,

because of the issues with the first order we provided Mr. Fujimura with an

additional 25% refund of the original order for the inconvenience.

Since Mr. Fujimura has

received the second tickets for the event, and has received the additional 25%

refund no further refund is due, and we respectfully request that this matter

be closed.

I am rejecting this response because: Your premise that you are acting only as a secondary agent should not allow you to promote bad business habits. You apparently feel that you bear no responsibility for monitoring and ensuring that the people who sell tickets through you are reputable. When I called and emailed you and Ticket Titans in Jan of 2014, you both told me everything was fine. You already took over $1330 of my money and had not sent me tickets for months. I called again around 1 month later and I was told the same thing. Did you even bother to check with Ticket Titans to see why I had not received my tickets? Do you think it is reasonable to send out confirmations and Fed Ex tracking #'s when I actually didn't have tickets? How is it that through this whole ordeal, two ticket sellers have paid penalties, I had to pay $1,000"s more for tickets I promised to my office and you, TicketNetwork, end up making MORE money on commissions?

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to out order notes Mr. [redacted] placed his order for tickets on April 18 for an April 20th event. His tickets were uploaded to him on April 19, and Mr. [redacted] downloaded them with 15 minutes of them being available, which was still 1 day before his scheduled event. As of this time Mr. [redacted] has received his tickets and the event has already passed without further issue.

As a good faith gesture Mr. [redacted] has also been offered a $25 credit off of a future order at TicketNetwork.com. We hope this fully explains the matter.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/05/01) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

I paid to purchase electronic tickets from TicketLiquidator. That it took them more than 24 hours to complete this transaction is not a point in their favor, as their response implies.

Based on their performance, I do not intend to do business with them again. Therefore, a $25 gift certificate does me no good.

Please refund the entire transaction fee of $49.20.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/05/08) */

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing Mr. [redacted]'s continued concerns to our attention, however it is unclear where Mr. [redacted]'s discontent stems from. According to our records Mr. [redacted] purchased tickets to an event, received them the following day, and attended the event the day after that. There do not appear to be any issues with his transaction that would result in warranting a refund. Therefore we request that this matter be closed appropriately.

Review: I ordered 4 tickets @ $108.00 each to see "Jersey Boys" in Las Vegas. Additionally, I paid a service fee of $21.60 per ticket, plus a mailing fee of $15.00. When the tickets arrived, the face value of each ticket was $67.10!! I called Ticket Liquidator for an explanation. I was told these tickets come from other ticket sellers, and they can charge whatever they want for the tickets! Ticket Liquidator refused to refund the difference. Their website does not say that what you pay for a ticket will not guarantee the same amount when you receive the tickets. This is very misleading and dishonest! When I see a ticket amount listed, and I say I want to purchase that ticket, I expect the ticket to be the same amount as what I paid! I was duped by this company. I did not receive the product I paid for! I paid $108.00 for each ticket and I expect the ticket to be in the amount of $108.00! Ticket Liquidator offered a 10% credit on my next purchase because of my dissatisfaction & complaint. I will never do business with them again, so the offer is worthless. I will also add that, although they list a telephone number, it is never answered. I have only been able to contact them and get a response via email. Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual ticket seller, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

Ticket Liquidator also has a page that states the following in addition to the standard terms and policies:

We know that "Terms and Policies" can be boring and confusing, so here's a quick run-down of the salient points in the text below. Just be aware that it's the actual text of the "Terms and Policies" that applies to a ticket order and not the following summary. The latter of the two is provided solely for your convenience and for helping customers grasp our key policies.

Having said that, these key policies include the following points:

Tickets may be above face value.

All sales are final; there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

Tickets may not ship immediately, but are guaranteed to be delivered in time for the event.

Orders may be filled with equal or better tickets if the original tickets are no longer available.

If an event is postponed, your tickets will be viable for the date of the postponement (no refunds).

If an event is cancelled, you will be refunded for the ticket price, minus shipping charges.

Your order is considered a request until it is officially accepted and confirmed by the relevant ticket seller, after which our order guarantees take effect

Ticket Liquidator is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets, FedEx delivery mistakes, ticket seller malfeasance, travel expenses, nor any situations caused by third parties and/or weather.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/07/27) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

TicketLiquidator's website is misleading and fraudulent.

Why would I be unsure about purchasing a ticket with a list price of $108 and thus contact Ticket Liquidator? I believed I was purchasing a ticket worth $108 - not $67!

I was simply cheated and mislead. I was NOT "educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value". What legitimate business would see a ticket that is worth less than the price paid? TicketLiquidator's are crooks. They stole my money. The website includes a separate statement that says "tickets may be above face value". The statement "below face value" is hidden away with other verbage. There was no opportunity to call the Customer Service Department at the "readily available number" because no one answered the telephone!!!

I again, respectfully, respect a refund. I was misled and purchased tickets far below what I paid for them. This is dishonest.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/07/30) */

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing Mr. [redacted]'s continued concerns to our attention. As was stated in our previous response, www.TicketLiquidator.com states on numerous occasions that ticket prices may be above or below face value. Since we are a marketplace and not the direct ticket supplier we are unable to confirm before the customer purchases their ticket(s) what the potential difference in price is. The ticket supplier prices their tickets at what the determined market rate is, and that is the price that is listed on www.TicketLiquidator.com.

Additionally, Mr. [redacted] was again required to read the policies which very plainly state that prices may be higher than a ticket's face value. There has been nothing fraudulent or misleading about this purchase. If Mr. [redacted] did not wish to purchase his tickets for $108 a piece then he was free to comparison shop and look elsewhere. Ticket Liquidator never made any claim to being the exclusive or only seller of tickets for the event Mr. [redacted] wanted to purchase, and again the Ticket Liquidator phone number is prominently displayed across the top of the website at all times.

Any quick visit to the Ticket Liquidator website will verify all of this information. We regret that Mr. [redacted] remains dissatisfied with his purchase after the fact, however we are unable to provide a refund at this time.

Review: I purchased three tickets to the [redacted] vs. [redacted] today for the 9/28 game. My order number was [redacted] for tickets in section 408 row 25, seats 14, 15, and 16. The charge I authorized was $428.70 yet I was charged an additional $35.37 for tax. The website has a small disclaimer that the price may not include tax, but I was never given the opportunity to review the total price I would be charged. I called and they claimed that they are just a ticket resale marketplace and that it clearly states on the final page that tax may be charged. This is very misleading since I confirmed the $428.70 charge and only knew about the $35.70 charge after checking my credit card statement. I would not have purchased these tickets through this outlet if I had known that tax was not included in the ticket price.Desired Settlement: I'm requesting that $35.37 be refunded to my credit card. Their service and electronic delivery fees were in excess of $78, so even if they can't refund the tax, a credit of this amount for deceptive practices and unauthorized fees seems more than reasonable.

Review: I purchased 10 tickets for wicked at the Morris civic center from this website for $82 per ticket plus a 18.70 service fee. For a total of $1052.00. I received the tickets from ticket connectors in Las Vegas and the face value on the tickets is $48.00. I will admit the web site states the tickets may be over face value but double the ticket price is robbery, the web site did not state the face value of the tickets.. I expected by paying $105.00 with service charge I would have a $100 seat not a $48.00 seat. Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

When Ms. [redacted] placed her order from her computer at the website, www.GotTheTix.com, she was obliged to review her order and accept that website's terms and conditions before her order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/04/05) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

I agree the website did state the tickets may be above face value as I expected but not that the face value would be nearly doubled. This should be absolutely clear to the consumer so that they know what they are paying for. I expected a small up charge but not $34.00 difference per ticket in addition to the $18.00 per ticket service charge per ticket. So I as a consumer paid $105.00 per $48.00 face value ticket and I purchased 10. Nobody would knowingly pay that price if the face value of the ticket was clearly identified, which it was not. So basically for 10 tickets that should have cost $480.00 plus service charge I paid $1052.00. Do you really think that is fair?

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/04/16) */

As was stated in our previous response, Ms. [redacted] purchased tickets on the secondary ticket market where ticket prices are determined by the supply and demand of the tickets. This means that tickets can be priced above or below face value. It is impossible to know how much above or below face value each individual listing will sell since this amount varies by event, ticket, and even by the date of the sale, and so instead, http://www.GotTheTix.com places multiple disclosures throughout the website that tickets may be above face value so that the customer is warned innumerable times that this will be the case. Again, this information was contained in the terms and conditions which were agreed to before Ms. [redacted] completed her order. No refund will be issued.

Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2013/04/18) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

It is ridiculous to expect any customer to pay double for tickets unless those tickets are rare or sold out which is not the case. Pure and simple this is consumer fraud and for a company o get buy with ripping people off is not a good business practice.

Review: I was mislead by TicketNetwork. I recently purchased concert tickets online. When placing the order the single ticket price was $159.00. I ordered two tickets at that price and was also charged a service fee of $31.per ticket and an additional E ticket fee of $7.50. The total order came to $389.10 and was charged to my Visa. I then downloaded the e tickets to discover the face value of the tickets to be $125.00 each. I felt swindled, as I had clearly purchased $159.00 tickets. I was further disappointed when I contacted Ticket Network's customer service agent [redacted], and requested my money be refunded. Her response was that they do not bill, therefore they could not refund. I feel I was purposefully mislead by deceptive advertising, and also denied access to their prominently stated "100% satisfaction guarantee". I am not satisfied and what my payment refunded.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the difference between the actual face value of the tickets (250.00) and the inflated ticket price I was charged by Ticket Network (318.00). $68.00.
