Review: On May 21st at approx 1:30 pm I purchased an insanely expensive concert ticket for a march 2014 three day ultra feast concert in Miami. I purchased the ticket knowing I was going to shop for a cheaper ticket because the representative assured me on a recorded line, several times that by purchasing the insurance for an additional $28 I could cancel this purchase at any time for any reason,So I authorized a $576 charge on my American Express card, hoping to purchase a cheaper ticket, then cancel this expensive ticket and only be out the $28 for insurance,Today, march 22, I came to my senses and decided no concert is worth $576. I called ticket network at approx 9:30 pm and spoke to [redacted]. He said he can't actually cancel the order and instructed me to contact the insurance company directly. He gave me the number XXX-XXX-XXXX and I called right awayI spoke to Alliance Global Assistance representative [redacted] who told me I cannot cancel for any reason and that it had to be a specific reason blah blah blah... Would not refund. I asked for a supervisor and spoke to [redacted] who was sorry but firm that the insurance would not let me cancel. Note: I have not even received the ticket yet nor has the bill gone through on my Am Express. [redacted] said he didn't even know ticket network (which seems hard to believe since there must be some sort of partnership or dealer agreement for ticket network to sell their insurance). He offered to cancel and refund my insurance. This insurance product was completely misrepresented by ticket network and I feel cheated and lied toSo I contacted American Express at approx 10:25 pm and spoke to [redacted] on the 800 number. She told me to wait until the charge comes up on the bill and then dispute it. She also advised me to file a complaint with you.The ticket network order number I wish to cancel is XXXXXXXXPIN number is XXXXXXXX. I greatly appreciate any assistance you can give me in this matter. Thank [redacted]@hotmail.com

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

Although Ms. [redacted]'s order was placed over the phone with a customer service representative we deny her allegations that she was informed that she could cancel her order at any time. The ticket insurance, which is administered by a third party and is not controlled by TicketNetwork, does allow for cancellations for matters that prevent the customer from attending the event. For example if there was an illness in the family, or travel plans were delayed so the customer was unable to get to the event on time, the insurance would reimburse the customer for the cost of their tickets, however since our website's policies very clearly state that all sales are final, purchasing insurance does not guarantee the purchaser the ability to cancel at any time or for any reason.

If Ms. [redacted] does not wish to use the ticket that she purchased she is more than welcome to resell it through our network, however we are not able to cancel her purchase at this time.

Review: Complaint taken via phone by Revdex.com staff (ES): Consumer had purchased tickets for a sporting event. She paid using her father's credit card (father's name is [redacted]). After placing the order, the consumer received three phone calls from a person with a company by the name of Amazing Tickets. The person stated that since the consumer incorrectly entered her home address, the tickets were being cancelled because the consumer had committed fraud. The consumer stated that Ticket Liquidators knew about this matter and still processed the tickets. The person became very rude and threatening and at one point used vulgar language. The person also claimed he had the consumer's credit card information. The consumer is unsure of whether or not the tickets will be sent.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.

Due to the increasing risk of fraudulent credit card activity over the internet, the customer's ticket seller had to verify that the purchase was accurate before completing the sale and sending the tickets. Additionally, since Ms. [redacted] requested the tickets be sent to an alternate address and be addressed to a different name than the card holder's these actions increased the potential that this order was fraudulent. Our records indicate the following series of events occurred:

Ms. [redacted] placed an order on TicketLiquidator.com on April 30 at 12:24 EST. Credit cards have security features which are required to match in order for the charge to go through. For example the billing address that is entered with the purchase must match the address the credit card company has on record in addition to the security code on the back of the card. The credit card processor runs a "check" before the order goes through to verify that all of this information matches. According to our records, the credit card was not processed at 12:24 because the billing address did not match. When this happens the ticket seller is alerted that an order was placed, however the card doesn't match so it is a potential fraudulent transaction.

Shortly after the order was placed, the ticket seller called the phone number that Ms. [redacted] used to place the order. They asked to speak with Mr. [redacted], the name used to place the order. Ms. [redacted] informed the seller that no one by that name was at that phone number, so the seller immediately assumed the order was fraudulent.

At 2:00 EST the ticket seller contacted our office to inform us that he had spoken with Ms. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] and notified us that the billing address was entered incorrectly and that the tickets would be shipped to the correct billing address, and that once he obtained the correct billing information the credit card did process, therefore completing the sale.

After this time, both Ms. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] contacted our customer service department indicating that the ticket seller was disrespectful and was going to steal their money. We then followed up with their seller who indicated that none of that transpired during their conversations and that both Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] attempted to cancel the order after he was able to verify the information and process it. The ticket seller informed both customers that once an order is placed and confirmed it cannot be cancelled per the website's terms and policies which can be viewed here: http://www.ticketliquidator.com/policies.aspx.

Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] were informed that the tickets will be delivered to them at the billing address which was given over the phone in order to process the credit card.

While we regret that Ms. [redacted] is dissatisfied with her purchase and the phone calls back and forth, Ticket Liquidator cannot be held responsible for whether or not a customer enters their information into the website correctly. Had Ms. [redacted] entered her billing address correctly the credit card would have processed without any issues or phone calls, and her tickets would have been confirmed much earlier than we were able to do so. However, as of this time, the billing information was corrected, the credit card was processed, and the tickets are en route to the billing address. Therefore, a refund will not be provided since the tickets are being delivered in time for the scheduled event.

Review: Failure to perform. I advertised tickets for sale to an event that has issued tickets yet at a 25% premium.Desired Settlement: I would like the tickets or a full refund.

Dear Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address [redacted] concerns.

When[redacted] placed his order for a single ticket to the July 3, 2015 showing of [redacted] with [redacted] from his computer at the website, [redacted], he was obliged to review his order and accept that website’s terms and conditions before his order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

General. [redacted], herein referred to as [redacted]" or "Site," acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers, herein referred to as "Ticket Sellers," to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets and as such, is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and ticket sellers. All sales are final. As tickets sold through Site are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual Ticket Seller, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value. Tickets sold through Site are from a third party; therefore, the buyer’s name will not be printed on the tickets. Please note that the name on the tickets does not affect the buyer’s ability to access the event. The following are the rules and policies that govern use of Site by the user of the Site, herein referred to as "User." By using or visiting the Site, User expressly agrees to be bound by these Terms and Policies, herein referred to as “Terms,” and to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site. [redacted] reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Site. If User violates these Terms, [redacted] may terminate User's access to the Site, bar User from future use of the Site, cancel User's ticket order, and/or take appropriate legal action against User. Above Face Value. Tickets sold through Site are often obtained through secondary market Ticket Sellers and are being resold, in many cases, above the price or "face value" listed on the ticket. All ticket prices include additional service charges and handling fees as defined on each order. Site and its Ticket Sellers are not directly affiliated with any performer, sports team, or venue; and Site does not act as a primary sale box office, unless otherwise stated. By agreeing to these Terms, User agrees that the purchase price for tickets on their order does not reflect the original purchase price of the ticket and may be either higher or lower than the original purchase price.

All sales are final. Since tickets are a one-of-a-kind item and not replaceable, there are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. New tickets will not need to be issued. If an event is cancelled without a rescheduled date, User will need to contact the Fulfiller for a refund. The Fulfiller may require the User to return the supplied tickets at User's expense before receiving any refund User is entitled to due to cancellation. [redacted] is not responsible for providing or securing this refund for User. Any shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Refunds will be processed in the same currency as the original order. Conversion charges, including though not exhaustive of the ones issued by User's bank, if any, are not covered by [redacted] or Fulfiller. Neither [redacted] nor the Fulfiller will issue exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. When User receives tickets, User should keep them in a safe place. Please note that direct sunlight or heat may damage tickets.

Schedule of Fees and Charges. The price charged to User's credit card beyond the price of the individual tickets shall include the following fees and charges:Service Fee: Cost per ticket associated with Site operation, customer service center operation, and other costs associated with the fulfillment of User's ticket request.Delivery: Costs associated with the Delivery Method chosen by User and the Site'S arrangement of User's ticket delivery by the Fulfiller. Total: Entire amount charged to User, including each ticket's price as set by the Fulfiller, Service Fee, and Delivery. Taxes. Prices stated on the Site do not include any state or other local taxes that may apply to User's order. Ticket Sellers may collect sales tax as is appropriate for their locality. If taxes are applicable to User's order they will be added to User's order as a separate charge in addition to the Total.

The website terms and conditions were available to [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the site. If [redacted] did not click on the “yes” button on the checkout page that states “I agree to the Terms & Conditions,” the software would have removed him from the checkout page and he would not have been able to go on to complete his order. Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to him before he gave his credit card information and completed his order. [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending his final order for processing.

At no time before placing his order did [redacted] contact our Customer Service Department with any questions or for any clarification of the pricing or terms and conditions. If he was unsure about the order he was placing, he was free to call the Customer Service Department at the readily available number or to comparison shop at other sites before finalizing his order.

Our records indicate that [redacted] contacted our Customer Service Department on February 4, 2015 regarding several complaints. During the course of the conversation, a Customer Service Representative explained how selling agencies in the secondary ticketing market may have access to suppliers with tickets before the general public; that his order was placed requesting a single ticket and was filled as such, and clarified his misinterpretation of the venue map where his section is located. Furthermore, the Customer Service Representative advised [redacted] to contact Allianz Insurance directly for any concerns about event insurance. All aspects of the order details were available for verification by [redacted] before he finalized the transaction.

[redacted] was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that [redacted] is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. [redacted]’s freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that he did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the location and price he agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Review: I ordered [redacted] tickets in the beginning of August. After 2-3 weeks I inquired about the tickets I had not received. The rep stated that I would get them closer to the game day as to avoid replication of the tickets. It is now 3 days before game day and still no tickets. I have called every phone number on the site and left emails with no response. So today 10/09, I get a rep that tells me that the tickets shouldn't have been split up (I only needed two) and I had been refunded 125% of the package price. I checked my cc statement, no refund. She told me that it had just been reversed yesterday. I explained to her that I needed tickets as they were a gift for out of town guests. She told me that "It's over and done with" and there's nothing she could do about that. She also did not tell me why I hadn't received any communication about what happened. She did try to offer other tickets at a higher price. This is unacceptable, now I have to try to find more tickets for my guests who will be arriving tomorrow (I am sure that's gonna cost an arm and leg). I am taking the time to leave this feed back to warn other potential customers. WORST FIRST EXPERIENCE EVER WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like this company to have better service standards and value their customers.

Review: I just purchased a ticket for a rock concert. It is an E ticket (electronic) ticket that will be delivered to my email. The ticket cost $31 fine. They charged fees of $6.20. Ok, it seems pricey for 1 ticket. Finally, they chared a $7.50 delivery fee. It is being sent thru email and not [redacted] or [redacted]. How can they charge delivery fee for an email?Desired Settlement: I dont want money. I dont care about the $7.50. I just want them to stop this outrageous charge for air.

Review: I would like to file a formal complaint against this business because of dishonest billing practices. I went to purchase Miranda Lambert concert tickets for my wife and myself and feel that this company took advantage of me. On the day that tickets went on sale I took a break from work and went online to the Metra Park's official website (metrapark.com) to purchase our seats. When I went to the ticket page I was somehow directed to www.gotthetix.com for my purchase. I did not know this at the time and continued with my seat selection assuming I was still on the official website. I chose two seats, that I thought were in rows 6-18 (I was hoping for floor seats), and checked out. After fees the ticket sale was $266. I felt like this was expensive but figured because they were floor seats they cost more. Weeks went by and we did not receive our tickets. I began to worry but then they arrived on Oct. 5th. Immediately I knew something was wrong. The seats were in section 007 (not row), which is quite a ways back in the arena, the Patron name on the ticket was not mine, and the price of the ticket was $39.95 (not $104).Also, the tickets were purchased on 9/20/11, when I had placed the order on 8/26/11. I was working so my wife immediately called the customer service number printed on the ticket. They basically gave her the run around and told her that the seats were indeed what I had requested, the name was that of their customer service representative who helped us, and the price was was a base price but didn't reflect market value and where our seats were located. Things still didn't seem right so she called Metra Park. She was then informed that we had been scammed. Apparently Got the Tix had a pop up that came up when I bought tickets and we were inadvertently diverted from the official website to theirs. We were stuck with two $40 tickets that we had paid $266.00 for, Metra apologized and said that others have had similar problems when buying tickets online but there was nothing they could do.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I would like to pay the advertised price for the tickets I received. We were charged $208.00 dollars for $79.90 worth of tickets and I would like to be refunded $128.10. The rest of the $266 was in fees, although I feel that $58 dollars in fees is too high I will not protest paying this, it is just the inflation of the ticket price that I will contest. We were also informed when speaking to Metra Park that tickets were still available in all seating regions, the concert was not sold out.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns.

According to our customer service records Mr. [redacted]'s order was placed back in 2011 for an event taking place the same year. GotTheTix.com is not affiliated with Metra Park, so it's not possible for Mr. [redacted] to have been directed to this website from their site. However, it is possible that Mr. [redacted] performed an internet search for tickets to Metra Park and then clicked on GotTheTix via a search route. When Mr. [redacted] did reach the website [redacted].com he was informed via the website's terms and policies that ticket prices may be above face value, that the website is not affiliated with any box office or venue, and that all sales are final. Review: I purchased two tickets to an [redacted]ootball game to be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 @ 1PM. The game has now been changed to an 8:30 p kickoff. . I have been suffering with two diseases for 5 years and my family was excited that I am feeling a bit good enough to try to go to a daytime [redacted] game for Christmas. Now the time of the game has been changed to 8:30pm kickoff. I am in bed by 8pm. There is NO WAY we can go to the 8:30 game.

I called Ticket Liquidators to request a refund. They refused to issue a refund. Their reasoning for not issuing a refund was that the game was postponed by the event and the tickets are still honored for that 8:30pm game. I explained that we cannot make that time, that it is too late. The only suggestion the customer service gentleman gave me was to sell the tickets.

This is horrible customer service. I agreed to purchase tickets to a 1:00pm game and paid for tickets to a 1:00 game. If the game was at 8:30, I would not have purchased them.

The persons I spoke with on the phone regarding this issue could have cared less.Desired Settlement: Full refund

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. TicketNetwork,

Inc. provides customer service to TicketLiquidator.com where [redacted] placed

her order. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to

respond to [redacted] concerns.

According to our customer service records, [redacted] placed

her order on TicketLiquidator.com on November 28, 2015. Please be advised that

TicketLiquidator.com acts as an intermediary between ticket buyers and sellers

and does not own or possess any of the tickets listed for sale. On December 7,

2015, the time of the event was changed from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and the seller

sent [redacted] an email regarding the same. In the email, the seller noted that

her tickets were still valid for this event and no exchange is necessary.

[redacted] contacted the Customer Service department on

December 18, 2015 to cancel her order. A customer representative advised that

the order could not be cancelled per the All Sales Final policy, and explained

the same regarding rescheduled/postponed events. Per [redacted] request, the

representative transferred her to another representative to speak with about

the issue. She told the second representative that she believed she deserved a

refund due to breach of contract. The representative advised that [redacted]

placed an order for an event and per the policies explained on the site, which

she agreed to, the tickets are valid for the rescheduled date or time of an

event. He further advised that a refund would only be available if the event is

cancelled and suggested reselling her tickets online, but [redacted] said that

she did not want to do this and would proceed with disputing the charge. Ms.

[redacted] was required to read and agree to the website’s policies before

finalizing her order, including the All Sales Final policy, which states:

We regret that [redacted] is dissatisfied with her order,

but she did receive the tickets she purchased and they were valid for the rescheduled

time. [redacted] freely-chosen acceptance of the terms and conditions

indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase these

tickets. No refund is due. We hope this fully explains the matter.

Review: I purchased 2 George Strait tickets for the price of $159 each. The purchase occurred in November or December. My tickets arrived last week. My tickets are worth $35/each. I was very disappointed. I called ticketnetwork tonight. I was advised that I signed the terms and conditions so I accepted the risk. Ticketnetwork did not at all protect my interest as a customer. I was advised there is nothing I can do to dispute the price. Was told that I agreed to terms and conditions. While this may be technically legal, it is very deceptive. I would have never imagined I was buying a $35 ticket for $159. And not to even know for 6 months? My assessment of this is that ticketnetwork should take better steps to protect their customers against gouging. The rep even advised me that they are just like [redacted] in their practices. I advised him that they are nothing like [redacted] protects their customers from being ripped off. The customer has reasonable knowledge that they know what they are purchasing. With ticketnetwork, I had no reasonable knowledge of what I was purchasing.Desired Settlement: While I now understand ticketnetwork is not going to provide me with 2 tickets that are of a reasonable price of $159 as they are a "secondary" source, this is what I would like. I would also like ticketnetwork to review how they talk to their customers. They misrepresent themselves as being like [redacted], and should be advised to change their comments. [redacted] would be offended.

Review: I recently purchased tickets from "ticketliquidator.com for a concert at Pier Six in Baltimore, Maryland. When I went online to get tickets, I went directly to the Pier Six website and was directed to this TicketLiquidator.com website to purchase tickets. They were priced at $66 each, plus taxes and shipping fees, which came to a total of $173. When I received the tickets, the cost of the tickets were actually only $41 each. I did not know this company spiked the price up so high and when I contacted them for a refund, they said they do not do refunds. I am a reasonably intelligent woman, and from my point of view, this was very misleading. Had I known the tickets were only $41, I would have gotten them directly at Pier Six! I am not sure if there is anything you can do, but I hope no one else gets ripped off like I did. But I do hope you can help me get some of my money back or at the very least, warn others about this. I am not a wealthy woman and this is a lot of money to waste.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns.

It would have been impossible for Ms. [redacted] to have been directed to Ticket Liquidator from the venue's website as Ticket Liquidator has no connection or affiliation with the venue. It is, however, possible that Ms. [redacted] performed an internet search for "Pier Six Tickets" or "Toni Braxton Tickets Baltimore" which would include Ticket Liquidator in the search results therefore allowing Ms. [redacted] the opportunity to search for the tickets she wanted to purchase. However, Ticket Liquidator has numerous disclaimers that state that the website is not affiliated with any venue and also offers a very easy to read set of terms and policies which state:

Ticket Liquidator Terms and Policies

The Basics...

We know that "Terms and Policies" can be boring and confusing, so here's a quick run-down of the salient points in the text below. Just be aware that it's the actual text of the "Terms and Policies" that applies to a ticket order and not the following summary. The latter of the two is provided solely for your convenience and for helping customers grasp our key policies.

Having said that, these key policies include the following points:

Tickets may be above face value.

All sales are final; there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

Tickets may not ship immediately, but are guaranteed to be delivered in time for the event.

Orders may be filled with equal or better tickets if the original tickets are no longer available.

If an event is postponed, your tickets will be viable for the date of the postponement (no refunds).

If an event is cancelled, you will be refunded for the ticket price, minus shipping charges.

Your order is considered a request until it is officially accepted and confirmed by the relevant ticket seller, after which our order guarantees take effect

Ticket Liquidator is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets, FedEx delivery mistakes, ticket seller malfeasance, travel expenses, nor any situations caused by third parties and/or weather.

The website terms and conditions were available to Ms. [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the site. If Ms. [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that states "I agree to the Terms & Conditions," the software would have removed her from the checkout page and she would not have been able to go on to complete her order. Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to her before she gave her credit card information and completed her order. Ms. [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending her final order for processing.

At no time before placing her order did Ms. [redacted] contact our Customer Service Department with any questions or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditions. If she was unsure about the order she was placing, she was free to call the Customer Service Department at the readily available number or to comparison shop at other sites before finalizing her order.

Ms. [redacted] was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.TicketLiquidator.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Ms. [redacted] freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that she did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price she agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/08/01) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

In their statement that I was "educated enough to know that tickets are often sold above face value" is untrue. I would never have paid $173 for tickets worth $82. That's just ridiculous. I was in fact directed to their website by entering Pier Six Pavillion tickets, so I honestly thought they were affiliated with Pier Six. Having said that, I believe I was baited to their website and paid way too much for my tickets. I'm sure I'm not the only person to have done so. If they were a decent company, they would either give me the difference or let me return the tickets. I am an educated woman and with that being said, I feel like I was totally ripped off. I still want the difference because obviously, I am not happy with their reply to my complaint.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/08/05) */

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing Ms. [redacted] continued concerns to our attention. As was stated in our previous response Ms. [redacted] was provided with all of the information necessary to complete her purchase.

Ticket Liquidator is not affiliated with any venue therefore it is impossible for Ms. [redacted] to have been "directed" to our website by the venue's site. It is quite possible that Ms. [redacted] performed a search for "Six Pavilion Tickets" or "Tickets at Pier Six" and in that case www.TicketLiquidator.com would come up in those search results as the website does offer those kinds of tickets for sale. However, TicketLiquidator.com does not purport itself to be the box office for any venue and in fact offers tickets for sale to thousands of events around the world. In addition to the numerous disclaimers on the website that inform customers that they are not purchasing tickets directly from the box office, Ms. [redacted] was, again, required to read and agree to the terms and policies. The first sentence reads: Ticket Liquidator acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers, herein referred to as "Ticket Sellers," to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets and as such, is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and ticket sellers. All sales are final.

We regret that Ms. [redacted] remains dissatisfied with her purchase, however she willingly chose to complete her purchase at the price that was indicated on her order receipt. She also read and agreed that all sales are final, and that the tickets that are purchased may be above face value. For these reasons we are unable to provide a refund at this time.

Review: I am having a major issue that is probably common this time of year. I purchased concert tickets from a 3rd party online company for [redacted]. This was a birthday gift for my husband who is not from [redacted] and this was his first time at [redacted] so we were very excited. When my ticket was scanned they stated this was not a valid ticket. I contacted the company who has said I need a letter from [redacted] stating I was denied admission. I contacted numerous people at [redacted] and [redacted] phone # [redacted]) who told me I should have bought the tickets through [redacted] and that they can not write a letter for me. I then contacted the online site [redacted], Phone # [redacted]) and they said there is nothing they can do because they are the middle man not the original seller. My bank ([redacted]) said there is no way to file fraud charges because its after 60 days. I cant believe a company can get away with stealing my money and nothing happening to them. Its frustrating since I spend $220.00 and got absolutely nothing. When I was in line at [redacted] the same thing happened to the girl in front of me as well. Someone needs to be held accountable and would like my money returned so I can buy my husband a legit birthday gift. I need help. Thank youDesired Settlement: I would like my 220.00 back. It would be wonderful for this busniness to be held accountabe. I trustedwhen I bought these tickets they were valid so I am disappointed they are not trusted to standbehind there sellers.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for contacting the business however I am very upset with there response. These tickets were printed only 1 time by me and if they are showing they were printed 11 times it was on there end. The fact is I was sold tickets that had been used already which is why when my ticket was scanned I couldnt gain entry. The venue doesnt want to get involved and refuses to help due to this matter not being their problem. The venue however did write void on my tickets but as I read thats not good enough for a refund. I have recently read MANY reviews online about this company and this problem occuring on a regular basis. [redacted]This company can get away with selling tickets multiple times knowing the venue wont get involved and also knowing I cant file fraud charges with my bank due to the 60 day rule and since most people buy their tickets more than 2 months in advance there is nothing that can be done by the bank as well. This whole process has taken up so much of my time and energy. I have contacted news stations and the Federal Trade Commission about this matter as well and they are working on this as well. This is not right and I wish the [redacted] would be held accountable. I know this happens alot due to the fact then when I was inline to get in this same issue happened to two girls right in front of me with the exact same problem. Even a partial refund would be better than nothing but to pay 220.00 for a concert I couldnt attend due to NO fault of my own is devestating. Next time I will only purchase tickets from TicketMaster a reliable source to buy tickets. [redacted]

Review: I purchased online through [redacted] tickets to the Phoenix open with the seller listed as [redacted]. The purchase description was for: Waste [redacted] Phoenix Open - 4 Day Competition Pass. I paid $222 for the tickets plus a $44.40 service fee and a $25 express delivery fee to ensure the tickets arrived before the trip to AZ.The ticket arrived on Friday but only 1 Ticket for one of the 4 days was included. When I contacted the seller on Friday, of which was very difficult to speak to someone as their VRU just continues to loop you through the same menu, I finally figured out how to get a person by continuing to press different #'s until the right one transferred me, they stated they would look into it and call me back on Saturday. I never received a call back so I phoned again on Monday. This time they stated that I only purchased a 1 day pass. I went over again the issue and they agreed there was an issue with the "mapping" and that I can buy the other tickets from them or return the one I received, neither was an option since I already purchased airline tickets to fly to phoenix and I wasn't about to give the company any more $ after their decptive practices. I requested to speak to a manager and after being placed on hold for 20 minutes they tranferred me only to get the managers voice mail [redacted]. I have yet to hear anything back from them on this situation. Neither Mar[redacted] nor [redacted] will take responsibility for this error or to rectify it and I don't believe they should be allowed to continue to deceive consumers and not have accountability for their mistakes with their falseadvertising.Desired Settlement: I would like what I was originally sold, 4 day pass to the phoenix open

Re: [redacted]

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this

matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously and would like

to take the time to address [redacted] concerns.

When [redacted] placed his

order from his computer at the website, www.ticketnetwork.com, he was obliged

to review his order and accept that website’s terms and conditions before his

order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

General. TicketNetwork.com ("SITE") acts as an

intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to

facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly

involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET

SELLERS. Tickets sold through SITE are from a third party; therefore, the

buyer's name will not be printed on the tickets. Please note that the name on

the tickets does not affect the buyer's ability to access the event.

The

following are the rules or "TERMS" that govern use of the SITE by

USER, the USER of the SITE ("USER"). By using or visiting the SITE,

USER expressly agrees to be bound by these TERMS and to follow these TERMS and

all applicable laws and regulations governing the SITE. Ticket network.com

reserves the right to change these TERMS at any time, effective immediately

upon posting on the SITE. If USER violates these TERMS Ticket network.com may

terminate USER's access to the SITE, bar USER from future use of the SITE, cancel

USER's ticket order, and/or take appropriate legal action against USER.

Above Face Value. Tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through

secondary market TICKET SELLERS and are being resold, in many cases, above the

price or "face value" listed on the ticket. All ticket prices include

additional service charges and handling fees as defined on each order. SITE and

its TICKET SELLERS are not directly affiliated with any performer, sports team,

or venue; and SITE does not act as a primary sale box office, unless otherwise

stated. By agreeing to these TERMS, USER agrees that the purchase price for

tickets on their order does not reflect the original purchase price of the

ticket and may be either higher or lower than the original purchase price.

The website terms and

conditions were available to [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout

process and as a link on each page of the site. If [redacted] did not click on

the “yes” button on the checkout page that states “I agree to the Terms &

Conditions,” the software would have removed him from the checkout page and he

would not have been able to go on to complete his order. Also, the total price,

including service fees and delivery charges, was given to him before he gave his

credit card information and completed his order. [redacted] chose to comply

with the price and the terms before sending his final order for processing.

At no time before placing his

order did [redacted] contact our Customer Service Department for clarification

of the pricing or terms and conditions. If he was unsure about the order he was

placing, he was free to call the Customer Service Department at the readily

available number or to comparison shop at other sites before finalizing his

order.

[redacted] was educated to

the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.ticketnetwork.com

is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. [redacted]’s freely-chosen

acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that he did make

a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price he agreed

to.

There is no refund due.

Review: Well I bought [redacted] tickets from this company March 2013 for an August game, which was my birthday. I got to the stadium and they would not let me in. Security at the gate told me my tickets were no good and that the seller had the tickets transferred back to him. I want my money back in the amount of $178.68 plus maybe my gas money that I spent to drive to [redacted] I have never in my life had this kind of sorry crap happen to me and this is pretty pathetic. I have a number and it is not the number that is listed with this company it is [redacted]. Also I have my reference number [redacted]. I would recommend that no one ever buys tickets or anything from this company. I seems to me that they have very shady people working for them.Desired Settlement: I want my money back in the amount of $178.68.

Review: Advertisement employs bait-and-switch tactics.

The Westburymusicfair.org site contains a misrepresentation with regard to service fee; it then charges a service fee. If one goes to "ticket info" tab at top a page will appear. On the right pane, below a graphic, there is a paragraph which clearly states that this ticket broker charges no service fee and the only fees one will pay are that of the ticket price and delivery method. As one proceeds to checkout, the service fee appears. The answer the company gave me was that it was clear there is a service charge, but in my opinion there should not be the first claim that there is no service charge. They did not refund the service charge.

Beyond this, the website is an attempt to trick viewers into thinking it is the venue, despite small disclaimers which are easily overlooked. It seems to the viewer that the venue is recommending the ticket broker,Ticket Liquidator, while the whole website is actually owned by the ticket broker itself. The way the text reads, the viewer is led to believe the venue is recommending this ticket broker, not that the ticket broker is recommending itself. I find this egregious and intentional misrepresentation. While there are disclaimers, true, it is a low standard of ethics once again, since the viewer gets the impression that this is an official venue site. This scammer does not clearly state at the top of the site, as many ticket brokers are honest enough to do, that this is not an official site, in large print, clearly visible. Though words to that effect appear in various places, the text reads as though it were the venue recommending this broker; it's just confusing, saying two things, yet the viewer may believe he is on the venue site and thus follows the directive.

Thus, I question the A+ status this entity has with the Connecticut Revdex.com, given these sleazy tactics, clearly meant to deceive people who in their enthusiasm and time-pressure to buy tickets miss the signs of the scam-artist. It is probably just this side of legal though.

My issue then is with the obvious lie that the only charge is ticket price and delivery method. Stating a clear lie and then arguing that the buyer agreed to pay the service fee is not ethical and should be remedied. I seriously question the A+ rating which seems to cast a dark pall on the credibility of the Revdex.com. I thought I was on the official site of the venue and then took the advice given there to use this licensed ticket broker. My mistake. If it had been written clearly at the top, as many other such sites do, that this is not the venue, this would not have occurred. I would recommend that the CT Revdex.com require this type of clear, large, easy to find, disclaimer of its internet businesses. Desired Settlement: I seek no settlement for myself. My wish is that the CT Revdex.com take more seriously this type of scam and change the policy as indicated above as to the clarity and positioning of disclaimer about whose site it is,and make this business stop the bait-and-switch tactics of lying about there being no service charge. If this is the level of ethics which earns a business an A+ rating from the Revdex.com, then I shudder to imagine what depths one would have to sink to in order to receive a lesser rating.

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. According to our customer service records [redacted] did place an order through Ticket Liquidator, however the website that he references Westburymusicfair.org does not belong to TicketLiquidator or Ticket Software, LLC. It is possible that since he was looking for tickets to an event there was an advertisement for Ticket Liquidator on that website which he then clicked on. We cannot comment on the content of the other website, however when [redacted] did visit www.TicketLiquidator.com he was informed numerous times of the website's terms and policies which clearly state:

General. Ticket Liquidator acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers, herein referred to as "Ticket Sellers," to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets and as such, is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and ticket sellers. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual ticket seller, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

[redacted] was informed of these policies before he completed his order through Ticket Liquidator and was required to agree to them before his order could be finalized. If he had any questions or concerns with the order he was placing he was free to call the readily available customer service number at any time before finalizing his transaction. On Ticket Liquidator's website the order breakdown which includes the price of each ticket, the service fee per ticket, and the delivery fee is provided to the customer before they are required to enter any of their personal information.

For these reasons we attest that our rating with the Revdex.com accurately reflects our position as a company and in no way are deceiving to consumers at all.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2013/07/02) */

Greetings.

I thank the Revdex.com for looking into my issue with the deceptive practices of Ticket Liquidator. I received a reply, which I find lacking.

The essence of their defense of the lie about having no service fee is that they do not own the dummy fansite which directs the unwary reader to their website and therefore they are not responsible for its contents. This seems clearly a clever dodge. It is clear that the owners of that dummy fansite, and how many others, exists solely to shunt readers to Ticket Liquidator, as it is the only broker listed on the page. Thus, it has to be inferred that there exists a reciprical financial relationship for advertising its services; this allows Ticket Liquidator to have false claims made about it without taking the responsibility for it. They say this other business says these things but it has nothing to do with them. They did not write that they would immediately require this other entity to change its inaccuracy about the service charge. That says everything you need to know about Ticket Liquidator.

In sum, people would be best to work with reputable services such as Ticket Master and Live Nation for all their ticket needs. Do not tangle with these guys.

Review: I purchased three [redacted] tickets for 10/11/14 through [redacted]. The charge went to my credit card and the tickets arrived electronically and were printed out. I flew out to St Louis with my two sons to see the game. Upon attempting to get into the game I was advised that the tickets were worthless! They directed me to the St Louis [redacted] Ticket Office - where I again was advised the tickets were "nothing but paper". The women in the ticket office advised me that these tickets were sold on [redacted]. I immediately attempted to contact [redacted] - they picked up and kept putting me on hold. They told me although it was through their web site I had purchased the tickets from one of their brokers([redacted] ). While standing outside the stadium [redacted] never answered their phone. The next day upon contacting [redacted] they told me to get something from the [redacted] to show we were not admitted - The [redacted] stated they do not provide such documentation (we didn't buy anything from them). I advised ** that that I had the tickets that were bogus they did not but stated again get proof from the [redacted]. On Monday upon getting hold of [redacted] tickets they acknowledged they had double sold the ticket but only refunded my money for the purchase price. It clearly states on ** website that the they guarantee the tickets are good - to 125 percent - of purchase price. ** still maintained get something from the [redacted] - I advised them their broker had stated to me they had made a mistake and refunded my money. They said not good enough!! I was completely embarrassed at the game, we missed the beginning of the game( I purchased a second set of tickets after the game had started)- a significant amount of money was spent to get and stay in St Louis only not to get the experience I had planned for my sons and myself. The way ** acted and what they said to me I can't help but think they do this often!! I have a lot of documentation.Desired Settlement: 1)to refund the 25 percent of 450.00 they state on their web site 2) have them stop E-Mailing me new ticket opportunities 3) There operation is fraudulent and somebody needs to watch them . I feel that if I didn't have all the documentation (including going to the seats in question during the game and getting the buyers name , were and when he purchased the tickets - several days before I purchased .I would never have gotten the return of purchase price! They ask for proof you can't provide

Revdex.com,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted] concerns.

When Mr. [redacted] placed his order he was provided with numerous opportunities to review his purchase to guarantee that was placing an order for the correct event. He was also required to read and agree to the website's terms and policies which state:

In no way does Ticket Liquidator "give you tickets to places that are not completely filled up." The only way for Mr. [redacted] order to be placed for these specific tickets was to click on the link to purchase tickets for this venue. It is not feasible for the website to have "switched" the tickets in Mr. [redacted] order. And again, there are numerous opportunities to review the purchase before completing the checkout page.

We regret that Mr. [redacted] is dissatisfied with his purchase, however all of the information was provided to him before he completed the transaction. Therefore, no refund is due.

Review: I bought a ticket to a play through their website and they did not make it clear until after I purchased the tickets that they were for the afternoon show vs. night show. I called them as soon as I got the email confirmation and they refused to reverse the transaction.

Either refund or replace ticket with similar valued ticket for the same day but for the night show.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns. Mr. [redacted] purchased tickets to The Book of Mormon for the date of April 13, 2013 at 2:00pm through the website http://www.ticketnetwork.com. The date and time of the event appears 4 times throughout the ordering process - the event listings page, the ticket listings page specific to that event, the checkout page, and the confirmation page. Mr. [redacted] had to proceed through all of these pages before he confirmed his order and thus had multiple opportunities to read the time of the event that he chose. Further, at the onset of the process, Mr. [redacted] had to actively select the 2pm time for The Book of Mormon on April 13, 2013 rather than the other option, which was the 8:00pm time, in order to begin proceeding through the ordering process. The time of the event is not automatically selected, but rather chosen when the customer selects "View Tickets" for the specific showing of the event. Therefore, Mr. [redacted] chose that specific date and time for his purchase.

In addition, when Mr. [redacted] placed his order through the website at http://www.ticketnetwork.com, he agreed to the following terms and conditions:

The website terms and conditions were available to Mr. [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the site. If Mr. [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that states "I agree to the Terms & Conditions," the software would have removed him from the checkout page and he would not have been able to go on to complete the order. Mr. [redacted] was educated to the fact that all sales are final, and he chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending the final order for processing.

There is no refund due.

After submitting credit card information, we received an email stating there was an error processing our transaction. I called and was told by a customer service representative that I need to fax either my drivers license or passport to them in order to process my order. I did not feel this was a wise choice, so I cancelled my order. They then proceeded to put a hold on my credit card for the charge. Waiting for charge to be taken off my card.

Review: I ordered tickets to go to the [redacted] fight for my son when I received the tickets the ticket was only for adults over 21 which [redacted] failed to inform me. according to [redacted] the terms that they had states they are not responsible for ticket sold on their website. I was not made aware of such terms my child could not go to the event. I do not recall signing anything indicating I was aware of [redacted]s lack of knowledge of the tickets placed for sale on their site. even [redacted] and [redacted] have some form of checks and balances so that people will not be robbed and taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: refund of ticket or a credit to the account
