There were a lot of communication issues between my writer and I and when I got my final draft I noticed some spelling and grammatical issues which was extremely disappointing. I paid for executive service package which included 48 hour turn around service and linkedin update. I needed a federal resume done however I didnt see that specific option listed on the website. Two days later I didn't receive my resume. I contacted my writer as to why and she stated that since I needed a federal resume and needed to contact customer service to see what to do. I wish she had contacted me to know what was going on especially since I paid for a service to get my resume in 2 days for a reason. I received my resume on the third day and then made updates to what my writer sent and returned it to her. I also contacted Katie Warren complaining that I didn't get my resume in two days due to this confusion and she said she would waive the federal resume fee. A couple days pass and my writer states I should be receiving an updated draft the following day. Two days pass and I hear nothing. I contact my resume and she states that since I am getting a federal resume I need to pay more . Katie had previously told me via email this fee would be waived so they obviously don't communicate amongst each other. I forwarded the email to my writer and then she sent the updated draft. I would have preferred if she had emailed my the issue instead of saying nothing at all which is what my writer tended to do. Like others have mentioned the updates aren't amazing and there were issues with spelling and grammar in my final resume. The linkedin service is a joke. You just copy and paste whats in your resume to your linkedin

Review: On 12/**, I have purchased the "Career Evolution" package from TopResume.com where they guaranteed 2X interviews. I have provided them with my current resume, as well as the job descriptions I wanted to apply to. While my resume should have been designed to pass automatic tracking systems company use, I was not even considered to have a phone interview for the job position I shared with them while they wrote my resume. Their service seems to be a waste of money and a scam, given that I've applied to many jobs and none of them contacted me back. In fact, I keep receiving jobs that match what I have been doing for the past 4-5 years that do not even allow for a job interview. It seems like I paid $198 for a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for $198, as there are no results for several positions I applied for, including the ones I submitted to the "resume expert" in the industry with twice as many interviews guaranteed.

The client mentions that they used the resume to apply to one position. While we did tailor the resume for that position per their request, we know it will also be effective for other similar positions, and we do not guarantee an interview to that one job. Anyone who is seeking a job should be applying to more than just one position at a time. The conventional approach is about 5-10 applications per day. Our guarantee states that customers will double their interviews with one of our resume within 60 days of using it. If they don't, the customer can comeback for a free rewrite of their resume. This customer is welcome to come back after 60 days to redeem their free rewrite. Additionally, we would work on their application strategy, mainly addressing the volume of applications they are sending (which, at one, is extremely low).

Review: I contacted Top Resume for resume services around 12/**/2014 after I submitted my own resume for professional critique. And of course they critiqued it like it was no good at all and how it needed all these changes done to it. For a fee of $99 they promised to create a professionally prepared resume, that would be professionally written, formatted for success and keyword optimized.

Within a week they sent me their first draft. It was unacceptable. it was not at all "eye pleasing" and "professionally written" as promised. I could have done a better job myself for free. I did my research on line and almost immediately discovered that part of that draft was copied from [redacted]. They didn't even bother to change the wording.

I then decided this was not the kind of company I wanted to do business with and requested a refund. Top Resume dined the refund referring to their terms and conditions but instead promised working with me until I was fully satisfied. It is now Feb * and to this day I have not received another draft. As I had no more trust, I even re-wrote my own resume and just asked them to re-format it, to make it look nice. Still nothing. I would send them emails inquiring when my draft would be complete but never got responses. On several occasions I have threatened Top Resume I would report them to the Revdex.com to only receive confused responses like "what it was I wanted again" or "we'll try to reassign you to a different resume writer". Or even better "Is there anything we can do to make your experience with Top Resume better?" How about producing a resume you charged me money for???

In the mean time I used my old "no good resume" as they called it to apply with different companies. I have been invited to attend several interviews and a few days ago accepted a job.

I am kindly asking for your assistance to help me get a refund for services promised, guaranteed but not providedDesired Settlement: I am disappointed Top Resume could not deliver services they advertise and charge money for. I would like to get my money back

As of today, March **, 2016 I have not received even as much as a confirmation email for my order. Yet the website directly states customers will have their first draft within a week. Since I was unable to reach customer service via the only contact option listed on their website - email. I have not received a response (5-6 days later).Desired Settlement: I want the $149 I spent on March *, 2016, refunded in full. NO SERVICES WERE RECEIVED!
