I called Troys and they led me to believe that they were right there in Livingston, MT and could do a same day delivery of Holiday Flowers to my yr old mother no problemI just wanted them there before Christmas so same day sounded wonderfulI am a florist myself so I asked them what flowers were in the cooler that looked fresh and the young lady played me, telling me not to go tulips but another arrangement and yes they still had the copper colored vase for the arrangement I choseLiarsThey never cameFirst year that my mother did not receive a gift from her daughter for ChristmasI feel such a fool for not checking on Troys reputation first but Livingston is a tiny town and they were at the top of the list of floristsI have called and complained to them but after almost a week no refund has been madeI am going to go to my bank and see if I have any recourse there
I ordered flowers on a Tuesday for a memorial on a SaturdayThey failed to deliver on SaturdayWhen I talked via email on Monday to someone in customer service they assured me they would be delivered on MondayOn Tuesday they emailed again saying they were now refunding the money and sending out a bigger and better bouquet for it not being delivered Sat and MonFast forward to today we haven't been credited and the flowers haven't been deliveredNow no one is responding back about the situation
Ordered a beautiful arrangement to go to my future daughter in law for her birthday and never delivered the flowers! Promised me it would go the next day before am again NO FLOWERs or call! When I got a hold of them they said it would be there the following day but I said that wasn't going to happenThey refunded my money but made me look bad to my future daughter in law worst communication and service I ever had!!!!
I ordered flowers online through Troy FloristI paid using a gift cardI have an e-mail confirming my order and the address that the flowers were going to be sent toI have a human witness at my employers that states that they did not receive any flowers on 12/from TroyI have an e-mail from Troy Florist that states that the flowers were delivered on 12/at 6:and signed by DSI informed Troy that my employer office closes at 5pm and the doors are lockedFurthermore, we do not have anyone in the office with the initials DSI requested very nicely that Troy deliver my flowers
Placed an order for a floral arrangement , Paid with credit card They said they were local to the delivery area I requested Come to find out they are not I recan email the day of the scheduled delivery The email stated they had been trying to call me on my cell phone They never did The email requested an additional $for my order This is in addition to the $I already provided They said the cost was for the local area could not provide the arrangement for that price
I cancelled immediately Called my credit card company and they are monitoring my account
I then found a local florist near the delivery location, and solved my issue for $arrangement They had no issue doing the arrangement requested
DO NOT USE TROYS FLORIST ONLINE!!!!! RIPOF
! When you google local florists *** *** ** their name comes up with an address of *** *** *** Rd *** *** ** *** under the name then you click on it and for their contact number only lists ###-###-####My son found out the hard way websites are not always truthful what they advertise and who they advertise they areThey are NOT a local florist to our areaThey are a third party call center who advertises as they are local but who sub contracts the work out to a local florist near youWe ordered flowers on 5/with confirmation of delivery for 5/never arrived emailed to ask why said would be delivered 5/backed up from Mothers Day (no delivery that day and promise of delivery today or refund) pm still no deliveryAfter several phone calls to them excuses was all I go with a finally today they confirmed delivered but I wont know until that person arrives home this eveningREAD THE REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY ON YELP, DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! We found out the hard wayDon't understand how these business are allowed to advertise they are local when in fact they are not also by reviews if and when something is delivered it is not what you orderedI will find out if in fact delivered today and if not what I ordered I will be disputing their charge with my bank to get my money back
I was tricked into using this florist when I googled for a florist in a town and they came right up When I asked the operator if they were in the town they told me yes - turns out they are in NJ - states away! They then called me the next day to say they could not deliver my funeral flowers since they church had told them there was not service Turns out they were not even attempting to deliver in the correct STATE! Oh waitthen a second phone call comes in and tells me they had not even made the arrangement since they could not locate the obituary for my family memberbecause they took the information down wrong Luckily I was able to cancel and order from a reputable florist in time I did get my refund back to my credit card, but I cancelled the card any ways since some operator sitting in their home had my information NEVER use this business!!!!!!!
I ordered a mini grill bouquet from Troy's with the promise of delivery within hourshours later, my flowers finally got deliveredI had my father send me a picture of the flowers he received, which was nothing like what I orderedNot a single flower resembled any of the flowers in the picture, and my father received the flowers in a plain glass vase, not the mini grill setup I overpaid forThe flowers looked old and wilting, and I still have not received a response about a full refundI was given no notice that the arrangement wasn't going to be ANYTHING like what I ordered
I should have paid attention and read the reviews
...Everything described happened to meI placed the order on Monday for flowers to be delivered on WednesdayTuesday afternoon I get a call that they have to "substitute" red roses instead of yellow - okay fineThen they say they need an additional $in addition to the $I had already paidI didn't have time make other arrangements so I paid the $The arrangement that was delivered and was nothing like what I orderedI paid $for an arrangement that I could have picked up at the grocery store for $- $When I emailed the company pictures of what was delivered and what I ordered they offered a 10% refundThe refund was $so I'm not sure how it was calculated...10% of what? Needless to say I feel that I was taken advantage of and ripped offExpensive lesson learned
Please read my response to themThis email is after they asked for an additional $or they could not deliver my orderThis following excerpt sums up the issue
Hi ***,
Please cancel my order and refund my money immediatelyWhether your disclaimer says prices are subject to change or not, a markup of $over the $you charged me already after we have a stated contract for delivery is price gougingThat is illegal and consumer fraudYou entered into a contract by entering into the following agreement:
Thank you for your order! The products you have ordered are as follows:
Send a Hug Puppy Love Bouquet $each, total cost $
Shipping and Service Fee: $
Tax: Sales Tax, $
Total order cost: $
An offer of the above was made and I provided the consideration when you charged my credit cardYou then want to charge me an additional $and refused to deliver my order as such until I provided you with a markup of 220% above the original items
I ordered a Zen flower arrangement for a Japanese relative that had passed Troy's florist came up as a local florist in my home state of Maryland The arrangement was not delivered on the day it was supposed to be delivered, they substituted a vastly different arrangement than the one I ordered, wanted to upcharge me, and then messed up the card A "designer's choice" arrangement was delivered a day late and without my permission to substitute the original arrangement When I spoke to the florist, I was told there was a slight flower change because they couldn't get a plant I ordered When I saw what was delivered, that was obviously not the case This business misrepresented it's location and product
Placed an order with what was advertised as a family owned florist in West Milford, NJ The order was for $ They took my credit card info and immediately charged my card A few hours later, I received an email stating that they couldn't send my fruit basket, but for $more, they'd send a plant I called their number where a woman named Angela told me it was because of where it was to be delivered I cancelled the order and asked for an immediate confirmation I received an email that was a note, not a real confirmation, and was told it would take 3-days for a refund to appear I emailed back and said that wasn't acceptable, as it should never have been charged in the first place I then looked for ratings on the company, and found all of the complaints on this site WE are currently on hold with the credit card company to ensure that they don't pay the company, but this company is scamming people left and right This is what was advertised:
Best West Milford
I orderd red roses several days before the delivery date with ballonsI recieved a totally diffrent arrangementThe reason I was given was that it was not available so they tried to match the theme, style and colorThe flowers would be equal value as what I ordered is what they saidThe arragenment was poor and didn't relate the correct message I intended the girl to recieveI also looked on the website and found similar arrangementsthat was recievd and for way less than I paid for the rosesI paid $for the roses and ballons for $9.98, came out to be $I only recieved roses and ballon in the arragements with other flowers that I didn't want
I paid $for a 'with sympathy" arrangement of flowers by *** card on December 19th The business is unable to produce a receipt which I need since it was a business expenditure and the person never received the flowers
Their website says:
"Please call us at *** or email us at [email protected] where you will receive a reply within seconds!"
I have sent emails and spoken to someone by phone without resolution
Ordered arrangement of flowers to be delivered to friend in ***, NC The arrangement and delivery fee totaled $ When my friend received the arrangement, she sent a picture of the flowers to me They looked nothing like the picture on the website Carnations were substituted for roses; the sunflowers were drastically smaller and different from the picture, and the greenery looked nothing like what was used in the arrangement on the website Even the container (which was shown as glass on the website) was different I contacted the company which offered me only a 35% discount stating that they sometimes have to make substitutions That would have been okay if the flowers they used were of equal value Also, the arrangement was represented as a deluxe version There was nothing deluxe about the flowers my friend received only the price This is advertising and from what I see NOW on the internet, this company has received many complaints for this same issue How
First off I thought I was dealing with a florist in *** **Come to find out you can't get ahold of the real florist in *** called Troys FloristI ordered a peace lily for my best friend losing her sister, website said they had it in stock. They didn'tSo an ugly stinky wilted house plant with sticks coming out of it was delivered to my friendOh and passed away was spelled wrong (pasted) I contacted the aka Troys Florist and they said that we can substitute anything that is orderedI told them the plant stunk so bad it couldn't be kept in the houseAnd asked them to go pick it up and deliver a bouquet of flowers, oh they couldn't do that because they are no longer dealing with Troys Florist because of my orderThey offered me a 30% refundTotal bill was and a refund of was givenNot sure what kinda math they doBut that isn't 30%Next time FTD will get my business
Troys Florist is a complete SCAM !! They are Not a locally owned store front It is a Call-Center that takes phone orders, and then they call a local florist for delivery I called them for a Next-Day Floral delivery They did NOT make the delivery NOR did they call to inform me that the delivery was NOT made (I presume if I did not know the delivery was not made, they would have just kept my money!) I called them the next day and they told me that they had no explanation as to why the delivery was not made....it just wasn't They didn't care that my friend did not receive a floral arrangement that I requested from them while she was watching her father pass awayAgain, this is a Call-Center There was NO customer care Nor concern for me Nor for the undelivered floral arrangement I asked to be transferred to the manager, who also could care less and was quite rude to me on top of it all Refund was requested
I ordered a blooming garden basket for a funeralTroy’s florist worked with a local florist to have the flowers deliveredWhat was delivered was a peace lily that cost less than half of what I paid for my orderTroy’s florist refused to work with me to get the correct item sent or to give me a refundThey also refuse to tell me who the local florist is so that I could work with them to get the correct item sentWorst customer service ever!
I ordered a deluxe flower arrangement consisting of white roses and lillies for a grieving best friend that just lost her father, paid $(without tax and delivery fee) She received bright pink daisies and lillies instead, each I was so embarrassed that this arrived to her house from me Troys florist offered to refund me 45% of the paid price or pick up the flowers from my grieving friend so I can get a full refund
My complaint is similar to several other on here Ordered a particular arrangement for Valentines day $ I could have gotten a better arrangement picking them along the highway The local florist concurred that you should never use online sites as they are deceptive The local florist wanted to do anything I wanted to make it right Troy's florist offered me a 30% refund which I declined Then they upped it 40% Said best and final We shall see if the refund is truly granted I relayed to them that I would be reporting the business to the Revdex.com Didn't seem to scare them
