I am sorry that Ms*** experienced a problem with the washer she purchasedWe have no record of having received a previous complaint from Ms***Please ask her to send readable copies of her receipt and the factory authorized repair center's diagnostic report,along with the serial number

I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received, not only by Menards, but by the warranty company. I paid a lot of money for this refrigerator when I remodeled my kitchen. I spent over $15,at Menards in supplies and appliances doing my remodel. I thought by
purchasing an extended 4-year warranty I would have some peace of mind knowing that if anything happened I would not be without a refrigerator. If I did need repairs, they would be covered by my warranty. The service rep at Menards did not explain anything regarding how the warranty works other than the cost of it. Menards employees need some much need training in customer service and on the products they sell. I have been without a working refrigerator since beginning of March when I called the warranty company to have a tech come out. One of the main reasons for buying a refrigerator with ice/water was to avoid having to purchase bottled water. My city water is not the best for drinkingAlso, having to juggle where I am going to store my food, going to the grocery store daily for food is a big inconvenience to me. I would like Menards and the warranty company to satisfy my claim by paying for a replacement refrigerator. I will not accept the check for $***. There is no way I will be able to replace with the same type of refrigerator with that amount. Like I mentioned before, the first A&E tech who came out told me that it was a factory recall for the top portion of my refrigerator. The second time A&E came out the tech called the manufacturing company and was advised this is a common problem that can not repaired. This tech deemed it non-repairable. I am also frustrated at all the time wasted being on hold with the warranty company, only to be told promises that they were never going to go through. If Menards or the warranty company to fulfill my claim to replace my refrigerator I will be taking court action. Thank you for assisting me in this over due matter

This is to respond to your request for status on the complaint filed.Menards, Incwas largely unresponsive until I threatened to file a lawsuit in Iowa and presented them with the Complaint and Motion for Directed Verdict drafted by me and ready for submission.Even then, they refused to be
accountable but instead referred the matter to their vendor, Black And Decker-- who were extremely cooperative and quickly settled the matter to my satisfaction.If I were the Revdex.com, I would show this as a settled matter by BLACK & DECKER--but that Menard's acted in a completely unethical fashion and made the process much more difficult than it needed to be.Bottom line-- Menard's spent weeks dodging and ignoring--until it became clear that THIS consumer would not tolerate their nonsense and would take legal action if need be. Then they passed off their responsibilities to their vendor-- rather than stepping up and meeting their obligations directly. That lack of ethics and honorable behavior made it clear to me that they are a merchandiser I will never frequent again--and your consumers should be warned of their attitude and conduct as well in my view.Best Regards,

being offeredDuring periods when the 11% rebate is not being offered, we run

sales, which are advertised in the media and there are flyers available
when entering the storeAlthough we frequently run the 11% sale, it is not a
continual rebate offer.We value Ms***'

I am sorry that Ms*** did not receive the rebate she expected from her purchase in April.Without having access to the actual paperwork, it is impossible to be certain what happened .Although, since the rebate from from April would not have been available in September, itappears as though the
rebate submission form did not match the rebate submitted and,therefore, was probably rejected by the rebate clearinghouse.In line with our very generous customer service ethic, we are sending Ms*** a credit for$directly from us, rather than the rebate clearinghouse.I trust this should resolve Ms*** 's complaint.Sincerely,

discrepancies were not reported until 4/23/At that time we contacted the manufacturer and were assured the missing parts were on orderUnfortunately the correct parts were not shipped from the manufacturer and have been reorderedWhile we are very sorry that Mr*** experienced this problem, any request for compensation for delays, or inconvenience need to be addressed by the warranty holder, *** *** ***

I am sorry that Ms*** was unable purchase what she wanted on Black FridayI havethoroughly researched Ms***'s claim, and have found that, although we had paddleboards on the Black Friday sale, we did not offer kayaksHowever, I did find that the Viperkayak was offered on the Black
Friday sale in (sec att ached)I am uncertain how Ms.*** accessed last year's sale, but it may be that she had it saved as a bookmark and pull ed itup inadvertentlyUnfortunately, we no longer have any of the Viper kayaks (SKU 279-14) and are unable to supply them at this time.We value Ms***'s business and appreciate her understanding in this matter
