To Whom It May Concern:

I welcome the opportunity to address [redacted] concerns. [redacted] enrolled in our High School Diploma Program on April 5, 2015 by submitting a signed enrollment...

agreement and a down payment.

On [redacted] signed enrollment agreement states students wishing to cancel after five days from their enrollment date and complete up to ten percent of their exams would owe ten percent of their tuition balance including the registration, admissions and technology/shipping fees.

[redacted] inquired about using Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits in April 2015.  At that time, she was advised of the requirements of using the VA benefits.  Since [redacted] is a child of a Veteran, she does not qualify for benefits through Penn Foster as only the Veteran and their spouse are eligible.

According to our records, there is only $1.00 paid on [redacted] account as she disputed the payments made on her account through her credit card company.  The payments she disputed were reversed and returned to her card.  As a courtesy, I have cancelled [redacted] account with no further financial obligations.  I apologize for the misinformation.

If you have any further questions, please contact me directly at ([redacted]

**To Whom It May Concern:  I welcome the opportunity to address [redacted]s concerns. On November 11, 2016 we submitted a request to refund [redacted] $270.95. This would cover what [redacted] paid the agency. It can take two weeks (depending on the upcoming holiday) for [redacted] to receive the check. On November 11, 2016 we emailed [redacted] to provide her this information.   We emailed [redacted] on November 22, 2016 to advise a check was being issued and her account was being closed.  We received a return email from [redacted] today on November 23, 2016 and confirmed this information once again.     Penn Foster is devoted to the educational advancement and satisfaction of all our students. If you have any further questions, please contact me at ([redacted].  Sincerely, Corinne L[redacted]Student Care

a down payment. **. [redacted] signed enrollment agreement states if a student is over fifty percent completed with their program they are responsible for the full tuition.   At the time of enrollment, we allow our students three years to complete the program and we offer two six-month extensions totaling four years.  We can offer our students additional study time as long as they are within six years of their enrollment date.  Due to our accreditation we cannot allow students to exceed six years to complete the High School Program and earn their diploma.   **. [redacted] has been enrolled in our High School Program for twelve years.  We updated **. [redacted] address on her student record on April 17, 2007.  We shipped materials for three courses to her after that address was updated.  **. [redacted] continued to complete lessons and exams until June 05, 2008.   We cannot allow **. [redacted] to continue with a program that is twelve years old.  There is a balance on the account of $681.51.  The last payment we received was on July 30, 2008.  **. [redacted] does need to pay the balance on this account and re-enroll if she wants to earn her high school diploma.  Once she is re-enrolled we would evaluate all lessons she completed in the old program to transfer those lessons/credits to the new enrollment and she will receive a monetary adjustment.  She would not be paying the full tuition again.   If you have any further questions, please contact me directly at ###-###-####.   Sincerely,     Toni M[redacted] Student Care

Why wasn't I told all of this before when I was constantlyyreaching out and emailing to get this issue resolved? Please tell me how much I will need to pay after my balance of $681.00 is paid and I enroll again? I refuse to pay another full tuition or half of another tuition. Furthermore, you stated I couldn't go past six years but you would take my credits that are 12 years old and add them over when I enroll again...I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense and you simply contradicted yourself.  You just want more money that is all.ITo assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. Hello,Since Revdex.com of Pennsylvania last contacted December 1, 2015 & has indicated in record, I the consumer agrees with the outcome, I have since spoken to Corrinne who represented the career school at the time.Around November 24th, 2015 I was assured the efficiency of an estimated 28 day turn-around time. I last spoke with the representative for the school around December 20th at that time I was told a check was approved for issuance December 16.More than $90.00 became the result of the school's collection agency collecting on an amount I did not owe. However, that matter could have easy been reversed since my bank's manager placed a telephone call to the school to confirm details, thus any overdraft fees associated to the transaction would have been reversed. Would have, but the representative rejected the idea of speaking to the bank branch manager and instead insisted upon her arguments which implied that this entire scenario is the conception of my being dishonest. At present I have not received any funds via [redacted] as is the proposal and have left an unreturned voicemail requesting the [redacted] tracking number associated to the refund.  Thank you for the assistance provided by Revdex.com regarding this matter###-###-####[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: While Penn Foster did indeed call, they offered a resolution to the issue. I was told I would receive further correspondence via Fed Ex postal mail at the beginning of this week. However today is Friday and I not received anything from them. I attempted to contact them again, in which I was transferred from person to person with no resolve

In order to maintain Penn Fosters Academic Integrity, we do not send out copies of proctor exams. I was granted permission to attach a copy of [redacted]’s exams. Due to preserving academic integrity we had to redact anything that could give any details in the questions and in [redacted]’s answers.
Section A of the Animal Anatomy and Physiology 1 exam consisted of 6 questions. [redacted]’s had only answered the first three, then proceeded to section B. [redacted] can call and speak to the education department on anything she has questions with. We can always be reached via email and chat as well.
If [redacted]’s did want to withdraw fully from Penn Foster, per her enrollment agreement, she would be responsible for the remaining balance on the semester. [redacted]’s paid $978.00 as of 8/23/17. The remaining balance would be $619.00. This does not include any fees associated with failed subjects.

To Whom It May Concern: I welcome the opportunity to address [redacted] concerns.  I understand from [redacted] response that he does not wish to send any personal information to dispute this account and I understand his concern for privacy and security.  In that case, I will need a copy of a police report filed by [redacted] for identity fraud.   All information we have on this student account, including address, phone number, and email address matches the information in [redacted] original Revdex.com complaint.  Many letters were sent to [redacted] at this address and calls were made consistently regarding the past due balance.  In addition, we have a signed enrollment form.   I am willing to cancel this account if we receive either a notarized statement from [redacted] or a copy of a police report. If you have any further questions, please contact me directly at [redacted] Sincerely,   Toni M[redacted]

enrollment agreement. I will attach a copy of the enrollment agreement. [redacted]’s took 42 out of 51 exams making her liable for the entire price of the program including any late fees and agency fees added due to default on payments agreed to per the enrollment agreement. The last payment made on [redacted]’s account was on May 04th, 2014. Numerous letters and calls were made/sent about the past due. Each month that passed the agreed monthly payment due kept adding up toward the overall price of the program. Each late payment does add on a one time late fee. As a result of the delinquent invoices, [redacted]’s account has been turned over to a collection agency. The collection agency does add on a fee. [redacted] must settle the debt with them directly. Penn Foster allows Three years to complete the program, with one consecutive year pending paid study time extensions. The last exam Ms. [redacted] took during her first enrollment in the program was on August 22, 2012.
