This people have the worse customer service! Every time I call there is wait over 30 mins and only to leave a message, which they don't return. But they have time to respond to reviews on the websites. My claim has been open for over a year and they still haven't resolved it. Now I am getting letters from a collection agency. I will seek legal counsel on this matter.

The complainant received an offer on 04/13/16. Unique apologizes for the tardiness in getting the offer to him and we hope this leads to the resolution of the claim for him.

Per the claim notes, one of the Unique claim adjusters reached the complainant on 03/24/2015 and reviewed the revised estimate with her along with deductible and betterment.  We told her we could issue the payment to her shop...

of choice and she agreed. The adjuster made certain that she had her direct contact info and the complainant thanked her for the call.This claim is now closed and payment was issued.

Thank you for contacting Unique Insurance. I can assure the Revdex.com that this is the first time I have received any information on a response needed for this complaint. I do not have any previous record of this complaint sent to me nor was it in my Action Items list on the new Blue program until this morning.

After reviewing our notes, I see that our company has been in touch with the complainant several times. She says she last spoke with Unique on 10/8 but our notes reflect calls on 10/2, 10/6, 10/21, 10/22 & 11/10. While we agree this claim has taken longer than expected and we apologize for...

this circumstance; we are in the process of resolving the claim. According to our records, Ms. [redacted] is looking to cash out her policy so we will need the lienholder information. We have explained since there is a lienholder, we will need to issue a check under their information and she said she understood. This morning, our adjuster contacted Ms. [redacted] and again notifying her that we are in need of this information. She said she will contact us when she has the info available.

Everyday I been calling leaving voicemail about a accident that occurred a month ago and no one responded back to my request about my claim.

its been 3months and nothings been done we had full coverage the person that hit us didn't have insurance this is open and close case don't know it should take this long to settle

One of our adjusters spoke with the complainant on 07/01/16 and explained that we needed accident reports from both parties to advance this claim. This complainant only has liability and uninsured motorist physical damage; she says...

the claimant is uninsured. At this time, we have not received an accident report from either party. We also need a police report, which we will order if there is not one available from either party. We also need to file an IDOT certification form to ensure the claimant does not have insurance. Based on the report received from IDOT, we can move forward to complete the UMPD claim for the complainant. This process does take longer since we do have to wait for information from the state. If the complainant has any additional info for Unique, she is more than welcome to send it to (her claim number)@uniqueinsuranceco.com or to myself at n[redacted]@producersnational.com. I have called them repeatedly for days with no Answer. I have been without a car for 3 week almost 4 now. I have 2 children one is a newborn and I have doctor appointments to get to.

I was purchased this policy not knowing the background of this place. My van was in a hit. And run on April/2016. When I came outside and seen my back was smashed in a called the police and then my insrance. The lady was pleaseant when she took my infor down. She told me someone will contact me in 48 hours instead I received a letter 5 days later the QUESTIONNAIRE it said fill out and send pictures and police report. I send everything I needed to.. Weeks passed by no return calls I left alot of voicemails and I was calm each time. I send countless emails to the claims and marketing. I have no heard back from any one since the accident and since I filled everything I needed to. After no respond on MAY 23 2016 I spoke to man name Craig or Greg.. I informed him how I have not been contacted or my van has not been looked at or sent to get an estimate. He informed me they will pick up my van have it towed so they can look st it and get this thing rolling. He was nice and helpful but only to learn he lied to me and didnt help me; however I got this letter from the insurnace saying my claim has been concluded because there was no police report, estimate I dont know what that means but I do know I send a police report. My van was never picked up and it is now Saturday morning 05/28/2016. Im frustrated that no one ever contacts you. Don't ever waste your money on a company who can't help you when you need them. They say they are dedicated and make comminement not even close. Don't waste your time becuase if your in accident you will be on the cta for a month or longer.

My vehicle was involved with someone who is insured with unique insurance. The accident happened on 4/10/2016 and today is 6/6/2016 and this claim is still not resolved. I have left numerous email and phone calls and haven't heard anything. They did however sent someone to take pictures of my car for an estimate but I haven't heard anything from it. This is very unprofessional behavior. A claim should be handled in a timely matter and this claim has not. I was reading some of the complaints on Revdex.com and mostly are all the same. Unique insurance doesn't call people back. Something needs to be done about this insurance company. All I want is a call back to resolve a two month old claim.

I filed my insurance claim August 22, 2016. The lady that started my claim was pleasantly awesome. I assumed from the start business would be handled accordingly. Wow was I wrong I called multiple times and left messages only to receive two call backs. I was aske to sent in paper work by team E papers were submitted and Team H argued the fact that I didn't fax over the paperwork. The same day I contacted Team E and was to;d that they did receive my bill of sales and incident report as I told Team H. Customer service at unique is absolutely absurd. The only person that seems to be professionally trained is Justine. Mr. [redacted] is a liar he stated to me that my rental reimbursement check was mailed on Aug. 19, 2016 only to call the next day and there was no check mailed out. I've never received any paperwork on my claim nor a phone call from a adjuster to follow up on my claim. I had to call daily to get what I consider to be negative information. One day I hate to say you guys are going to be the cause of this company to have a mass consumer lawsuit. There are so many consumer laws being violated within this establishment. I cant leave out Ava you wont get away either your customer service skills are the worst Ive ever experienced you definitely have improper training. I cant just blame it on the employees management deserves the big hit. If you doing what your job title entitles you wouldnt have negative comments. MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE YOU NEED TO TAKE THE BLAME FOR YOUR DEPARTMENTS.Whatever happened to recorded quality assurance recordings?????

Per the claim notes, this complainant received a phone call from the team lead on 06/30 and he agreed to take his vehicle to a shop; Unique emailed the estimate to that shop and a check was issued for payment. This claim is closed on our end.

These people are the rudest most unprofessional bunch of mns I have ever had to deal with. They never return phone calls, their mailboxes are always full and they continuously rip people off and the [redacted] has done not a thing about it, although I was told by two different employees at the [redacted] that this company is awful and they get complaints on a daily basis. I am now trying to work through [redacted] office.

I am rejecting this response because:
  This is the second time I have asked to keep my complaint open. I haven’t been able to respond and say that the situation is resolved because still nothing has happened from unique insurance. I don’t know how to complain about the way they have treated me enough. I want their rating to go down significantly with the Revdex.com so people stop buying insurance from this awful company. Please help me by keeping this open, I can’t afford a lawyer, and I really don’t want to sue the driver because her insurance company sucks… I don’t want to do that at all, but it seems like the only option I have unless people like you can keep pushing and helping me maybe get some resolution out of this situation.
