This is the worst insurance company ever!! They SUCK!! They never call back or email back I've been without my car for week now My husbands license has been suspended because they still haven't sent the bmv proof of insurance and are now telling us that they need proof that the bmv needs that!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! I'm filing a lawsuit

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPer the file notes, this complainant has reach Unique twice in the last four days where she spoke with an adjuster telling him where the vehicle is located and we set up an appraiser assignment on June 13thAt this time,
once the appraiser review the vehicle and sends an estimate, the complainant will be contacted again to review the info provided to usI do this claim was reported to us on May 23, then the complainant reported the accident again on 06/09, 2-1/weeks laterShe was contacted the next day on 06/and the appraiser was set up on 06/13, which I believe is very timely compared to what is reported in this complaintThe original adjuster she spoke with on 06/says the complainant was very rude to her on the phoneThank you,

The WORST insurance company that exists!! My car was hit by a driver insured with Unique on January 20/and is still not fixed! I call my adjuster Lora every day, she doesn't aswer her phone or check her voicemailYesterday I called customer service twice, waited over one hour each time then got disconnected both timesEveryday the same storyThis company should be SHUT DOWN for good!!Revdex.com please do something with this company PLEASE

The complainant did speak with one of our team leads on 06/She explained her policy to her once again and the rental reimbursement coverage in which she did not ask to have as part of her policyShe did ask about the tow, which Unique will cover one tow and we had paid out on a tow for the complainant previouslyAt this time, we have emailed the estimate to her shop and issued the tow payment.
Unique, as many other companies, work through a network of independent agents who sell various products to consumersThe complainant's rebuttal makes it seem that her complaint is not with Unique truly, but with her agentAs for her calls that she has full coverage, this means that she does not just have liability insurance but comp and collision as wellMany times, this is not explained very well to the consumers or they do not review their coverage with their agents at the time of purchaseThank you,

I work for a used car lot in Rockford, ILI am in charge of resolving claims with and for our customersI have been trying to resolve one particular claim for monthsFirst they said they had all the paper work they needed but they had to speak with the insured and he wouldn't return callsSo I got the insured to come in to the office and called Unique and put the call on speaker phoneAll they wanted was an accident report filled out by our customerSo while still on the phone with Unique he filled it out and I faxed it to them The person I spoke to was ReinnaShe said now they had everything they needed to process the claim and to call her back in a week for an updateThat was a month agoI have called Reinna and left messagesI have called her boss, Patricia Randall, and left messages and I have called Patricia's boss Erica *** and left messagesNO ONE will return callsWhen I ask for Erica's boss they basically said she doesn't have oneThis claim has been ongoing for months!!!! ridiculous!! We have now put Unique, Lighthouse and Stonegate, which are all the same company, on our do not accept list for insurance companies as well as Founders and Direct AutoDo not use this company, if you have a claim you will be sorry!!!

I filed a claim back on 12/and couldn't get in contact with a human person until after the holiday's and I called a Supervisor name Patricia and left her voicemails about my claim adjustor and called numerous of time to UNIQUE company to find out what is going on that I have heard from no one and nearly weeks and was finally given a name of Michael *** which had the worst demeanor everytime I called to check up on my claim and to see what I have to do next to get my car repaired and he basically snapped about he mailed off my estimate and he and I told him I haven't received anything by mail he said ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR and I stated no I am just saying MR*** I haven't received anything by mail and he hung up the darn phone on meI WILL NOT RENEW MY POLICY WITH THIS COMPANY AGAINI just wants to known how this company has a good rating when so many ppls given such horrible reviews this company needs to be reviewed againand weeks later and my car is still serviced

I would have the same result if I did not take the time to file the
complaint with the Revdex.comI was hoping for a better resolution to the
car rental issue as I do not have the funds to pay up front at this time.
I will have to borrow, where I'm sure that Unique could make an exception

My car was hit in a parking garage by a Unique customer on January 28th of this yearNO ONE from Unique has contacted me at all I had to get estimates to send into them with pictures which I did right awaySince then I have left over voice mails from multiple people, Katrina *** who I am told is my adjuster, Sakib who I am told is her supervisor and then for Erica who I was told was Sakib's supervisor After 20+ voicemails I have yet to receive a call back I have sent emails to them on their web siteLeft hand written messages instead of voice mails and still nothingThis is the worst experience I have ever had with any type of customer service company This claim should of been very simple without question and I am still waiting to get my car fixed because I can't even get someone with Unique to return a phone call much less finalize my claimI do not know how a company like this is still in businessMy next step will be to call the *** *** officeTHIS IS UNBELEIVABLE!!! I WAS ACTUALLY JUST TOLD BY SOMEONE IN THEIR OFFICE AFTER EXPLAINING MY SITUATION THAT THEY COULDN'T HELP ME THAT ALL THEY COULD DO WAS SEND ME TO VOICEMAIL AGAIN ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!!!!!

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintThe facts of this claim are specifically outlined in the notes especially since this was a theft investigationOur special investigations unit needed to process a thorough review prior to providing a final statement on this claim
During these types of investigations, discussions with police departments are necessary and sometimes scheduling these talks can be time consuming; which looks like the case hereUnique SIU needed to file a freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for the police report, which can also take timeI see from the notes that our SIU manager was in talks with the complainant in April and May and while these talks were moving forward, waiting for other items may not move in as timely a mannerWith the SIU complete, a file review was processed on 06/22/and the adjuster contacted the lien holder and requested some documentationThe lien holder said sending these documents may take 24-hours and we faxed the requested info to the lien holderOnce the documents are sent to Unique, we can complete processing this claim.Also, just for clarification, this complainant has only been with Unique Insurance since November of He may have been an *** customer for a longer period of time but not with Unique InsuranceThank you,

It took this company months to "get around" to rejecting the claim along with me calling 3-times per week and leaving countless voice mailsThe only time I received any correspondence was after I called the VP *** *** and and left messages in her voice mailI never did get a return call from herJust because a company responds to a Revdex.com complaint and pays their dues doesn't entitle them to an A ratingThe rating should be based on the content and amount of complaints they receiveThis company has a history of this type of practice and shouldn't even be allowed to operate.

As soon as I got into a bad accident I filed a claim with them and tell them where my car was towed toI was told my claims adjust was going to call me within the next couple of daysNeedless to say I left a couple dozen messages for her over the course of a couple months and I never received a call backThe place my car got towed to ended up having to crush my car because they could not reach Unique eitherNow I am stuck without a car and a car note for a car that I don't have anymoreI do not know what else to do

The complaintant (*** *** did NOT receive any response at all (no phone calls, no e-mails, nothing) from Unique insurance company. *** *** left numerous voicemails and e-mails to Unique insurance company - based in ILLINOIS - and still have never heard ANYTHING from Unique insurance company. My insurance company had to represent me and had to call Unique insurance company before Unique insurance company would respond - but Unique insurance company never had the courtesy to respond to ANY of *** ***'s inquiries. Shameful companyThis company should receive an F minus rating from the ILLINOIS Revdex.com, and should be closely watched by the *** ** *** *** *** for others that Unique insurance company does not respond to. Check the current ILLINOIS Revdex.com complaints against Unique insurance company. Shameful company.

The date of loss on this claim is 04/29/15, the complainant did not file the claim until 05/05/The complainant has his car moved to the dealership and on 05/05, he said he will notify us if he wanted to keep it there or notOn 05/09, we verified the vehicle was still at the dealership and
set appraisal assignmentOn May 25, the complainant called and said the dealership wanted more than what was estimated and provided approval for the vehicle to be moved to a preferred vendor shopLater that day, he called and said the vehicle charges were paid and vehicle was released from dealershipVehicle moved and estimate wasn't approved until 06/A letter was sent to the complainant in accordance with state regulationsThe vehicle should be in process of repairs at this time.Thank you,
