This company by far has the worse service, it took over 3 months to get the check for the repairs needed to fix my car due to one of Unique's customers hit my car.
I called about 20 times and no one responded to my numerous voice messages.
The customer service is not existing at this company.
I just hope that I don't get involved in an accident with a driver that carries this garbage of insurance.

My insurance company has even tried to contact them several times with no response. I am emailing pictures as well as the estimate. I submitted a claim to Unique Insurance on 10/12/2015 for damage received to my car on 10/4/2015, a car that is insured by their policy holder. Ivory [redacted]. To date and after initiating a claim via phone and then submitting a hard copy , two calls, two voice messages I have not received a response. The voicemail system us difficult to navigate to get to a claims representative and once you get a an actual "live" voice you are transferred to a line that is not answered.
The first call, I was transferred to Aurelia [redacted] and left a voice message. I called back a week later and was told that she no longer worked there but would transfer me to someone who could help. I left a voice message for that person on 12/7/2015 and as of today, 12/11/2015. I have not received a response.
Meanwhile, still waiting to get my claim settled. I believe this is called stonewalling as to not settled this claim.

accident  report. There is no police report and no photos or estimate provided either. If the complainant would like to provide photos and estimate to [redacted] we can move forward with the claim but as of now, the claim is closed.[redacted]

I was involved in an accident in April of 2015. I filed the necessary claim, and assumed things would be handled by Unique. Man... was I wrong. I attempted to get a hold of my "Claims" person for several weeks. I left multiple voicemails, and emails without a response. Finally I get a call from the company telling me where they wanted me to take my vehicle for repairs. My vehicle was bought brand new 6 months prior to the accident, so I wanted the dealership to make the repairs. After another few weeks of back and forth with them they finally allowed the dealership to do it. In the mean time I had not spoken to anyone from Unique about the accident. Not the details.... Who might be at fault.... Nothing. My car gets fixed, and again I assume everything else had been handled. I was very wrong. Fast forward to May 2016 and I get a, summons in the mail that I'm being sued by the other drivers insurance companies, because Unique never answered their calls or faxes or emails about the accident. So they are coming after me personally for the damages even though I was insured by Unique at the time. After several days of me calling Unique in a panic someone finally answered, and said they would hire an attorney to represent me. It's all just been a horrible nightmare of a situation. In the meantime I've been to court twice over it, and the "attorney" Unique hired for me told me.... What ever the court says... We'll just appeal it. It amazes me that companies like this can legally exist. Earlier this week I received yet another summons from the second vehicle involved insurance company stating Unique is not handling things as, they should. I called the claims department and was told the name of the person "handling" my claim. I left 8 voicemail messages for him between Oct 31st and Nov 3. Finally I got him on the phone yesterday. Only to have him tell me how short handed they are, and how he's so far behind with emails. It's absolutely ridiculous, and from what I've read about this company on the Revdex.com site... It happens to far to many customers. Avoid Unique Insurance at all costs. My claim was filed almost 19 months ago, and I'm still dealing with it. It's unacceptable.

After reviewing the file, and speaking directly to the complainant, I discussed the claim with the Sr. VP of the Unique Claims Department. He said that he did, in fact, say what the complainant reports here(for which I apologized...

to her) and I explained to him that this was inappropriate behavior. The complainant's vehicle is quite rusted due to the age of the vehicle and usage over the years. The repairs done to the muffler and catalytic converter are maintenance; she was advised of this fact and she said she understood. She was also advised that she should have contacted our office PRIOR to taking the vehicle anywhere else to have it reinspected for accident related damage. Our claims team spoke with the shop where the repairs were done and they told us that none of the other damage was accident related. That said, Unique stands at the $120 mark for this claim and will offer no other amounts.

I don't unseratand how UNIQUE INSURANCE can be a part of the Revdex.com!! This is the worst company ever!!! No one calls you back! I tried to get a hold of Nancy Acevedo and she has not had the decency to call me back, I sent her a 3-4 emails and she has not responded to me about a claim!! This is ridiculous because of there unprofessionalism my license and license plate will be getting suspended because no one can bother on calling the other insurance companies lawyer to tell them I was covered the day of the accident!!

great insurance if you like to be ripped off and treated like [redacted], if you really like to be treated inhumane contact katy nee, as she is their claims manager and is very creative at finding ways to overcharge,steal lie,and basicly cheat you out of money

Unique claims rep, nor their manager will return my (multiple) calls. This claim has been open since accident on October 31, 2015. The adjuster, S.M., sent a letter stating claim to repair my car was approved on 12/4/2015, but has not sent the check, nor have they called to give a status update on paying our medical bills. Revdex.com, isn't there anything you can do? This company has so many negative reviews just on your site, and it doesn't seem to matter to them that their customers just want to hear from them about the status of their claim. Please help! This claim is denied due to non-cooperation of our insured. Per our policy, if the insured does not comply with the company's requests pertaining to a claim, it is a breach of contract and the claim can be denied. On 3/22/16 when...

Unique appraiser reviewed the work which needs to be completed and I can assure the complainant that our appraisers are skilled in their work, otherwise they would not be working at this company. stop payment and re-issue. As for her claims of pain and suffering, two Unique adjusters explained the process to her; she needs to be examined by a doctor and provide medical bills. Unique is not just going to pay out money without proof of injuries from a licensed doctor. No insurance company will do this but the complainant became agitated with the adjusters and began using expletives when this explanation was provided. Herein, the complainant also mentions that going to the doctor was not an option and she just wants money. This is not protocol. Also, this claim has taken a bit longer to resolve as our special investigations unit has become involved due to a suspicion of fraud. We will continue our investigation and follow the correct processes to resolve the claim completely.Thank you,

My vehicle was hit by a person insured with Unique Insurance Co. on 11.26.15. The driver was driving drunk and hit my vehicle. The company started the claim in the first week of December 2015. I had an estimate done and sent pictures a week later as the claim adjuster (Reina [redacted]) requested. At first they wouldn't respond to the email or several calls made to them after sending the estimate & photos they requested; then a week later the claim adjuster responded after getting a member of management (Pat) involved, and on 12.16.15 they reevaluated the amount of the estimate on their end and submitted me with documents to sign for what they agreed to pay. They said that once I signed and email the documents back to them that they would cut a check for the amount agreed upon, I signed and sent documents back on 12.18.15. After not receiving the check within a few days/weeks. I called on 1.4.16 and the claim adjuster at first said she couldn't fine where I emailed the documents back to her; then suddenly while on the phone with her, she said she saw the email and that a check would be cut that same day and mailed out. She said that I should have it by Friday which would have been 1.8.16. I have still not received the check payment as of 1.21.16, and they said they cut the check on 1.6.16 and that it has been mailed already. I have informed them several times that I have not received the check payment. I noticed some complaints from other consumers who had similar to the same problems with this company. Revdex.com.  Amazing how this company denies my Revdex.com claim as if it is a duplicate.  Please explain how they have not responded to my auto claim filed 2/17/16 (claim #[redacted].  Adjuster Robin [redacted] has not responded.  I have also sent the police crash report verifying fault of vehicle insured by Unique Insurance.  The only thing unique is the pure abscence of customer service.
