could file a claim through his own carrier who would then subrogate for reimbursement. However, this gentleman was driving without insurance and what the claims supervisor told him was that he should get insurance and this is why. The complainant did not like the response provided to him by the team supervisor and became aggressive. The supervisor advised him that he was ending the call and did so. At this time, the complainant's vehicle is in the repair shop and a check was issued to pay for the repairs.Thank you again,

The adjuster met with the complainant on 03/16/16 when she came to our office. She explained the claim process to the complainant and she reviewed the evidence of the accident with her. An appraiser appointment was set up with her...

for 03/20/16 and the appraiser phoned the night before to confirm and discuss where the vehicle was located. On the day of the appointment the car was not in the prescribed location and the complainant said her husband had taken the car. She was told to take the vehicle to a drive-in location as the appraiser could not return to her home. Unique later set up another appointment for her vehicle to be reviewed on 03/31/16.Thank you,

I was involved in a accident in 1/16/16 claim number [redacted]. The woman who hit my car has not been cooperating with her insurance company, so I decided to let my "insurance" take care of getting my car fixed (I mean, that's why we pay our payments every month right?). I sent back all the necessary documents, I faxed over the crash report. I have gone to the shop that Unique sent me to and got an estimate. I have been trying for days to contact my adjuster Ms. M[redacted]. I am just trying to get my car fixed, this is very stressful. I need my car fixed, I have doctors appointments I need to get to and my car is very unsafe to drive.
My review would be a big fat zero for this place. Their customer service is atrocious! I should have checked their reviews before getting this insurance. Stressful and expensive lesson learned, I guess. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Due to the non-cooperation of the insured, Unique must deny this claim per our policy. Non-cooperation is a is a violation of our policy and denial letters have been sent in the mail.

I was in an accident caused by a Unique insurance policy holder, I have talked with two people from the insurance company one of them is Dawn and the other is the supervisor for Team G. I just want my questions answered so that I could get my car fixed and medical bills paid for. They always get upset when I ask questions and the supervisor for Team G called me once and hung up one me bacause I was asking questions. The sent the adjuster to the wrong shop adding a week to them doing anything.

I've been a customer of unique insurance for a little over a year now. I was in an accident that was not my fault. The other guys insurance denied my claim so unique advised me to file it with them, they would have me not at fault and once a claim was paid they would try to recover my deductible. I took my car in for an estimate that came out to about $2,000. Unique sent out an "independent adjuster" who cut the estimate in half. My car has a dented and creased front fender, a dented and scratched passenger door, a scratched mirror and a chunk missing from my tire. Minus my deductible, unique is trying to send me a check for a little over $300!!!!!!! No body shop in America would consider fixing my car for this amount. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I even had an agent talk over me saying " lalalalalalalalalLa" because he thought it was his turn to talk. I've been hung up on, cussed at and completely disrespected. Still no claim has been paid out. We're talking about a difference of $1,000. They are willing to spend that money having their claims people argue with me. I'm disputing the claim and requesting mediation which will cost them more money than it will take to fix my car.
If your reading this before deciding whether or not to have Unique as your insurance provider, my advise to you is RUN!!!!! You would be better off with [redacted] or 1-[redacted]. Please learn from my mistake
