Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintSince there were multiple vehicles involved in this accident, Unique needed time to gather all the evidenceWhile some folks are quick to step up and follow process, sometimes others are not as quickIn this case, I reviewed the file with the team supervisor and he is allowing the adjuster too move forward with the complainant's claim and a check will be issued for his claim.Thank you again, [redacted]

Can you say "SHOULD NOT BE BUSINESS"! Unique Insurance should be shut down! We have waited over a month just to get a window fixedThis so called company has no remorse for ANYONE! Frustration & Headaches is what you will get!

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintThe check for the repairs on this complainant's vehicle has already been issued as of 05/23/2016, It was mailed to [redacted] If the check has not yet been received, the complainant should notify us so we can stop payment and re-issueAs for her claims of pain and suffering, two Unique adjusters explained the process to her; she needs to be examined by a doctor and provide medical billsUnique is not just going to pay out money without proof of injuries from a licensed doctorNo insurance company will do this but the complainant became agitated with the adjusters and began using expletives when this explanation was providedHerein, the complainant also mentions that going to the doctor was not an option and she just wants moneyThis is not protocolAlso, this claim has taken a bit longer to resolve as our special investigations unit has become involved due to a suspicion of fraudWe will continue our investigation and follow the correct processes to resolve the claim completely.Thank you, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is not true, denial letter was faxed to unique insurance company the same day of request October 3, from [redacted] & Associates and also from the at fault driver insurance company [redacted] CompanyProof can be provided if needed, this is a example of the lack of updates and cooperation from this company I'm speaking aboutI have done everything they asked of me in a timely manner and I get nothing but misinformation and delays Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintThe complainant spoke with our adjuster on March 7, The adjuster notified her that she can take her vehicle to one of our preferred vendors to have it repairedIf she chooses to take it to a shop of her own, we will pay what our estimate entails and she will be responsible for the difference, per our policyWe negotiate prices with our vendors to ensure the best possible rates for our customers which other shops may not offer.The adjuster also suggested that if she was dissatisfied with out policy and procedures that she file a claim with her own carrier and allow them to subrogate for damagesLastly, I would like to point out that the IL [redacted] has set a guideline of days for an insurance company to use a goal for resolving a claim, Unique is well within this markNow, the claim is in the hands of the complainant and we await her decisionThank you, [redacted]

They are very unprofessionalThey're client was in fault of hitting me and recieved a citation and they still said I was liable and only can cover 50% of the damageI spoke to Micheal who proceed to tell me nothing they can do and take it up with my insurance and hung up the phone

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Unique Insurance is unprofessional and lack customer service skills across the boardThey do not have the ability to communicate at all, let alone communicate a sincere apology for inconsiderate behaviorThey repeatedly confused my vehicle with the other vehicle on sceneI am unit Unit was struck by not only unit but by unit (who is their insured)As you can see, no where does it state Unit struck another vehicle or that Unit reversed (which they stated in the previous reply to this complaint)How would Unit reverse when Unit is against the back bumper? This repeated confusion can be noted in their previous message and our previous phone callLack of common sense, general understanding, and minimal reading comprehension is why this company deserves an F rating on Revdex.com [redacted] ***

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPer our notes, the complainant did indeed speak with one of our claims adjusters yesterday, December 1, He explained to her that we received the photos from their shop but we have not received an estimate from themShe said she would speak to the shop and have them send it to us.At this time, we are waiting on the shops estimateThe complainant was also contacted on 11/23/16, when a status letter was sent to the claimant's addressThank you, [redacted]

Since this complaint was filed, I see from the claim notes, that the complainant's supplement payment has been addressed and Unique is obviously going to pay the supplementAs to her question about the rental car, the complainant does not have rental reimbursement on her policy therefore there is no coverage for this carThe complainant has been in contact with Unique over the past few weeks about this claim, per the notes.Thank you, [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint which was filed on 04/19/16; one day before an adjuster contacted the complainant and resolved the claimOnce we received the [redacted] report, we were able to verify liability and we also verified coverage with our Underwriting DepartmentEstimate was approved and payment was issued on 04/25/to the body shop with the complainant as the second payee on the check.This claims is listed as closed in our files and well within the day guideline set by the [redacted] Thank you, [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint and my apologies for it being overdue to the complainantAfter reviewing the notes, I see that Unique still has not heard from our insuredThe insured has not corresponded or returned any callsWhile we attempt to provide timely resolution to claims, when the insured does not correspond, it becomes difficult for us to resolve quicklyI will speak with the claim supervisor handling this claim and we will try to wrap up this claim as quickly as we can.Thank you again, [redacted]

I submitted a claim to Unique Insurance on 10/12/for damage received to my car on 10/4/2015, a car that is insured by their policy holderIvory [redacted] To date and after initiating a claim via phone and then submitting a hard copy , two calls, two voice messages I have not received a responseThe voicemail system us difficult to navigate to get to a claims representative and once you get a an actual "live" voice you are transferred to a line that is not answeredThe first call, I was transferred to Aurelia [redacted] and left a voice messageI called back a week later and was told that she no longer worked there but would transfer me to someone who could helpI left a voice message for that person on 12/7/and as of today, 12/11/I have not received a responseMeanwhile, still waiting to get my claim settledI believe this is called stonewalling as to not settled this claim

After further review, this claim remains deniedThe policy cancelled on 06/11/at 12:AM and the accident occurred at 11:AMThe policy did not reinstate with a lapse until 06/16/Whether or not this person is an illegal immigrant or whether they are driving on an international license truly has no bearing on this claimEveryone who drives a vehicle is required to carry insurance and non-standard companies like Unique Insurance will insure drivers such as this personI can assure the Revdex.com and the complainant that we do pay claims when the policy is in effect and the payment is warranted Thank you, [redacted]
