I was in an accident on 3/3/and was hit by someone insured with uniqueThat person was given a ticket for it being there faultI filed my claim the next day and have yet to be in contact with my adjuster lora! It's going on daysmy car is totaled , so I have no vehicle to get myself to and from work everydayThis has been a huge inconvenienceI've left my adjuster voicemails as well as emails and I get nothing in return! My car is sitting at the tow yard accruing storage fee's , this is absolutely ridiculousI have never had such horrible customer service in my life

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintThe complainant went to shops of her choice to have her vehicle repaired, which obviously is her choice entirelyHowever, Unique has contracts with preferred vendors who work on negotiated rates contracted through our company.A Unique appraiser reviewed the work which needs to be completed and I can assure the complainant that our appraisers are skilled in their work, otherwise they would not be working at this companyNon-accident related damage would not be covered by any companyUnique stands by the decision of its appraiser.Thank you, [redacted]

Unique Insurance is very unprofessional the agency does Adjuster don't never get back in touch with you and the receptors is rude as ***My Adjuster voicemail is fullAnd it is crazy all the [redacted] messages I have left all I want is the person who me to get me a rental and fix my [redacted] truckIt shouldn't be that [redacted] hardIf customer service said the adjuster is going to get in touch with then do thatMy truck get me my family around everywhere and it not [redacted] far we have to go through this messIf we don't pay I bill then they drop usA I am do your job and you can keep people happy on both in

great insurance if you like to be ripped off and treated like ***, if you really like to be treated inhumane contact katy nee, as she is their claims manager and is very creative at finding ways to overcharge,steal lie,and basicly cheat you out of money

I normally look at the reviews before I decide on using a businessMy husband needed quick insurance and went with this company before I had time to check them out OMG was that a major mistake My car was hit by an uninsured driver on Jan 19, and I am still trying just to get someone to call me We've provided all the information requested and my car has not been fixed nor have we been contactedOur adjuster NEVER seems like a ghost in the mist Can't contact her at all Voice mails full & forget about any return calls really sad how a/any company can take money and not help when that's what you're paying for, I am so frustrated right now!!! I bet someone would contact us immediately if we stopped our paymentsWhen I request for someone higher, everyone says there isn't anyone higher What???? Our next step is to get the media involved With all these negative reviews, I don't think I'll have any problem here in AtlantaMaybe this type of coverage will help others that are in our situation Stay tuned

Thank you for the opportunity to reply to this complaintOur adjuster just spoke with the complainant on Tuesday, 03/01/16, and explained the situationWhile the claimant's carrier provided an accident report, we have requested an official police report to confirm liabilityThere may also be a coverage issue on this policy at the time of the accident.The adjuster explained this information to the complainant and once we receive the official police report, we can move forward with the claimThank you, [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPer the claims notes, the complainant was advised on several occasions that he had to move the vehicle from the tow yard as it was his responsibility to mitigate extensive storage chargesThese charges are of his own doing and he could file a claim through his own carrier who would then subrogate for reimbursementHowever, this gentleman was driving without insurance and what the claims supervisor told him was that he should get insurance and this is whyThe complainant did not like the response provided to him by the team supervisor and became aggressiveThe supervisor advised him that he was ending the call and did soAt this time, the complainant's vehicle is in the repair shop and a check was issued to pay for the repairs.Thank you again, ***

Unique apologizes to the insured about the delay of his claim but I see from the notes that we did attempt to reach him but his voicemail was full. Our status adjuster could not even leave a message. I have asked another adjuster... to contact the complainant today and update him on what he will need to provide to further pursue the claim.Thank you, [redacted]

I've been a customer of unique insurance for a little over a year nowI was in an accident that was not my faultThe other guys insurance denied my claim so unique advised me to file it with them, they would have me not at fault and once a claim was paid they would try to recover my deductible I took my car in for an estimate that came out to about $2, Unique sent out an "independent adjuster" who cut the estimate in halfMy car has a dented and creased front fender, a dented and scratched passenger door, a scratched mirror and a chunk missing from my tireMinus my deductible, unique is trying to send me a check for a little over $300!!!!!!! No body shop in America would consider fixing my car for this amountThey are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt withI even had an agent talk over me saying " lalalalalalalalalLa" because he thought it was his turn to talkI've been hung up on, cussed at and completely disrespectedStill no claim has been paid outWe're talking about a difference of $1,They are willing to spend that money having their claims people argue with meI'm disputing the claim and requesting mediation which will cost them more money than it will take to fix my car If your reading this before deciding whether or not to have Unique as your insurance provider, my advise to you is RUN!!!!! You would be better off with [redacted] or 1- [redacted] Please learn from my mistake

Its been a week no carI filed a claim then everything came to complete stopLeft messages since last week, no calls return yetMy car is undriveable in my drivewayWorst company ever, should've done my homework and checked there reviews onlineFeb 01, big snow storm, no other car involved and still can't get my car fix! I have been a customer for years and now I'm left without a car and worst experience everPlease don't use Unique Insurance save yourselves a big headache

After reveiwing the claims notes, I see that the complainant's vehicle is deemed a total loss, Unique made an offer and the complainant accepted, as of today, 06/24/Once a vehicle is deemed a total loss, the claim usually takes a bit longer to process, also Unique needed to order a *** report to establish liability of the accidentThis claim is moving toward complete resolution and should be closed once the paperwork sent to the complainant is returned to the companyThank you,

I am rejecting this response because:
I was told by one of Unique's representatives when I first called, that I didn't need a police report because I had provided all information they would have taken from the reportIn my email to *** ***, I provided pictures of the rear of their insured's car to indicate there was no damage to her car to prove no one hit her carI asked that this information be reviewed and the disposition be reconsideredI do not believe liability is questionableI never received a response from him to indicate my request was even consideredNo one from Unique has ever contacted me, except *** (she left a message 11/11/- when I called her back on 11/14/2016, she said *** asked her to call me, but she didn't know why!)
I have had pleasant conversations with each representative I spoke with (***, ***, ***, ***, ***)When I spoke with *** on the 15th, I asked to speak with someone else - *** *** or a managerNo one was availableI asked if he would respond to my email - she didn't knowI did say that I should not be penalized with 50% reimbursementThis does not constitute aggressive behaviorAnd even if it did, it has nothing to do with my dispute and should have no effect on a fair decision

Our Claims Department was verifying coverage of the policy for the date of lossUnfortunately, this claim is denied since the person who had the accident with her is no longer a Unique Insurance policy holderTheir coverage canceled a month prior to the accidentThe complainant should receive or has already received a letter in the mail saying as much.Thank you again,
